What had happened was that I had bought a new laptop from LG (~9 months ago) and its' performance was just so weirdly slow from the time I brought it home. In particular, the proxy setting just would not turn off no matter how many times I disabled it. Plus, the PC performance was horrifically slow. Not a good sign and I did a lot of malware scans with no luck on finding any issue. Finally, I got fed up and, after a bit of research, I found Allstate. The guy at the repair shop was super nice and attentive to my observations. The end result was excellent - all the issues were fixed (proxy and computer speed) and my PC is as it should be - fast and efficient and it has been 3 months of excellent performance. Last year she bought an iPhone 16 and they were very helpful answering her questions. Last week it was an iPad with the A16 chip. She thought she was only going to check out the new models, but realized that they have the color she wanted and it would be relatively easy to operate. Generally we're able to get help very quickly. Sometimes there are long lines during the holidays with sales. One time, I ordered an iPhone in advance and picked it up here. I didn't even have to set an appointment to pick it up. I just went once I received the notice saying it had arrived. Yes, I had to wait a few minutes because there were lots of people picking things up. But once I got my phone, they were very helpful answering questions while I got acquainted with my new device. They've always been very helpful with their support, being able to gear it to my mom, who is, admittedly, not very technologically savvy. Every person has been very patient with her and we always leave satisfied. It's a bonus that Manhattan Village is a relatively nice mall. The other stores here are decent and there are some nice restaurants. There's even a little artificial grass park with a fountain where you'll see lots of families letting their kids play.

The contractor had no clue how to fix this and we were left without reliable internet. After reaching out to many services, Mendel was first to respond. He perfectly understood the issue and offered to come immediately, early AM on a weekend no less, and at a VERY reasonable hourly rate. When he showed up, it was clear why he named his service "Friendly" as he's the nicest person I have met. He immediately identified the issues, involved me in the process, and managed within an hour (not all day as I had worried) fix everything. You can see it in my photo below. I recently spilled a drink on my 2019 MacBook Pro and knew it needed professional attention. After…read morelooking at a few options on Yelp, I chose Mac Studio because its expertise in both Mac products and spill-related repairs stood out. He urged me to come in right away (caveat: the parking scarcity near Abbott Kinney does add some delay). Anthony immediately stopped his work to open up and visually inspect my laptop's internals. He did this right in front of me, explaining his findings, and showing me relevant items under magnification. Unfortunately this included a pair of tiny chips with one melted side on each, that I would never have noticed myself, though could easily smell once he pushed it toward me. This transparency (and his obviously skills) gave me confidence I could trust his assessment... which at minimum included waiting 2 days for dry-out, replacing the motherboard, and very possibly discovering other problems once power was restored. He warned that the costs would likely surpass the laptop's value. I'm not a decisive person, but I made the decision to scrap it right there, confident I avoided a potential rabbit hole of cost and time. He also offered his expert recommendation on a new model and specs (which he does not sell, and has nothing to gain). Overall, he spent about 45 minutes with me, and refused any payment for his time. Anthony is accommodating, knowledgeable, honest, and honorable. Mac Studio will definitely be my first stop for any future service needs. Highly recommend! PS. I purchased his recommended model on sale an hour later and was back up and running the next day!

I broke my work laptop charging cable, and my old laptop doesn't hold a charge without being plugged in. I NEED a laptop for work. After panicking, I called a couple places which didn't have what I needed. I called C&A and immediately the own was like "yeah I have it, come by and bring the laptop." I drove over, showed them the problem, and was out the door in 5 minutes since I needed to get back to work. They took care of my huge problem in the span of 20 minutes. I really appreciate the help, the speed of service, and the low cost of the item!
