With COVID-19, David with Bipro was able to remote in to my Computer and reversolved all the issues! David was very friendly and knowledgeable. David spoke in plain English, instead of geek which made it much easier for me to understand what was going on. COVID-19 safe, extremely courteous and very nice to talk to! I had the occasion to visit Bipro computers twice during my "residency" in El Segundo. For my first visit, I went to have a "gaming computer" assembled using the high end parts I had purchased online. I have decent hardware skills when it comes to assembling computers, but I usually have my father in law on site, as he is a I.T. specialist and can talk me through it. However, I was all alone in California as a fresh transplant and needed professional help. El Segundo is a small town, and it didn't take long until I saw Bipro computers on Main Street. I brought my boxes of parts to Bipro and spoke with the owner (I think his name was Dave). He was a very polite guy, quoted me a fair price and told me my rig would be ready in a day or so. I got a call the next evening and was told my rig was ready to pick up. After paying for services rendered, I went straight home, plugged in my machine, did a few updates and voila; I was gaming. Fast forward approximately six months and I had just acquired a new motherboard CPU and memory. I did the install myself and the darned computer would not start. Ugh! I brought the computer back to Bipro and explained the problem to Dave. It was just 10 minutes before closing time and his technician had already gone for the day. Two days later, I received a phone call from the Bipro technician and was told my rig was ready. When I arrived, I was quoted a fair price and I asked what the issue was. He told me I had forgotten to install the insulating washers that fit between the motherboard and the case. When I advised him that my motherboard did not come with the washers, he became slightly confrontational and explained to me that he had never heard of a motherboard not coming with the washers. Getting slightly perturbed with his "tone" at this point, I told him that there's a first time for everything. Perhaps I was in a bad mood that day and read too much into it. However, the customer is always right and there was no real reason for him to get snippy. But the bottom line is that Bipro does good work, the owner is cool, and the place is locally owned and operated. If I still lived in El Segundo, they would still be my computer repair business of choice. read more

I had a poor experience with a different technician but the boss man David completely hooked me up! So - I suggest that if really good caring service is important to you - that David oversees the transaction. It's takes a logical AND creative mind to do a good job with fixing computers. You have to be engineering minded but also think outside of the box. This David chap has both. They either pick up your computer from your house with a charge - or you can drop it at the flower shop in El Segundo instead. And my personal advice - most of the time - if it's an old computer - back it up and just BUY A NEW ONE!!! read more

This is the closest computer repair to my house so we gave it a try. They are the most socially awkward, rude bunch of bozos I've encountered. I had the nerve to pick up MY computer without calling ahead and was met with angry muttering by one of the social drop-outs behind a desk. They are annoyed by phone calls to check in on their progress and are generally a misery to work with. Engage them at your own risk! I'm adding a star for work completed correctly, but they are not worth the grief. read more

Wow went to get my computer fixed in the am, heavy set guy says that I can do it my self download this and this. Ok cool I'll give it a shot, I can't figure it out so I go back 4 hours later see the same guy. He doesn't seem to remember me from 4 hours ago so I explain what's going on again and he just says "just upgrade to win 7" then falls asleep for about a minute standing up then says "it's a waste to put wireless on that old computer" umm who's talking about wireless? Good thing is they got a new Asian guy that jumped in and helped me out, asks what is wrong and is way more attentive to what I'm saying. All the while the heavy set guys opening boxes mumbling about spyware and viruses to him self. Lack of sleep maybe? Just doesn't like his job? This place is a joke maybe with the new employee things will get better, shall see when I get my computer back and how much they charge. read more

I walked in and was immediately dismissed. One guy said it was an easy fix. And the other guy sent me away.

Nice guys here. Ordered a new computer charger for me at a very reasonable price, although I think I could have ordered from Amazon for less. But happy to support local business. read more

I had gone in here about a week ago to get some data recovered from an external hard drive and came back today to get it. There were some customer service issues originally (not being called back, being charged more than I thought) and I definitely wasn't satisfied. But then I received a call from David, who has a great personality and was nothing but friendly every time I was in. David explained some things to me and even credited back some of the charges. Things happen, I get it. Bipro handled my issues with data and handled their issues with customer service. In the end, it was a great experience and I'm happy it went that way. I support them. Took my 8 year old desk top in with a no power on issue. Said I thought it might be the ac power adapter, they believed me!! Tested my old one and replaced it, no muss, no fuss. read more

They do not over charge for the diagnostic. Other places charge around $80.00, and these guys charge around half that. And they do not just offer to 'reformat' your hard drive. They actually take care of the problem. read more

Ok so I have been going to see "Dave" at Bipro computers for a long while now and he has helped me out of a few tight spots, like the time my computer just started blinking at me or was it winking at me? In any case it wasn't doing anything else and he fixed it in a hurry for a reasonable price. Computers are like cars to me. You turn the key on the car or click the on button on the computer and if everything is ok you are off to the races and a good day. If not you call the auto-club for a car and Dave for the computer and they pretty much get you up and going fast. Dave has assited me with three computer purchases through the years and each time he has given me great personal service and a good price without any hassle. Yes I've been to those big box, take a number kind of places but they are just not Dave. I don't understand everything he says but I have confidence in the end result. read more

These guys are quick, efficient and know what they are doing. I brought in computer because I was getting bunch of blue screens. I had a unique situation where various tests were not consistently "failing" so it was very hard to pin point the root cause. Mark the service tech did about 4 days of tests and finally figured out the issue and only charged me for the minimum fee. These guys went way and above the call of the duty. read more

screen on my laptop went kaput. took it in, had an estimate later in the day over the phone. repaired within 24 hours. is it a huggy, kissy kind of place where they make you feel warm and fuzzy? no. it's a computer store and repair shop for heaven's sake. would take my gear there again no questions asked. read more
