I've been here twice in the past year, once to pick up an order and the first time to see the new iPhone in person to decide which model/color I wanted next. Both visits went well, and it does get crowded as all Apple stores do. There are clear signs on where to pick up and friendly service. Easy to park in the free lots, those get busy as well. read more

I've been to this Apple Store many times, often accompanying my mom to make her Apple product purchases (3x) and occasionally to get support. They have always been extremely helpful. Last year she bought an iPhone 16 and they were very helpful answering her questions. Last week it was an iPad with the A16 chip. She thought she was only going to check out the new models, but realized that they have the color she wanted and it would be relatively easy to operate. Generally we're able to get help very quickly. Sometimes there are long lines during the holidays with sales. One time, I ordered an iPhone in advance and picked it up here. I didn't even have to set an appointment to pick it up. I just went once I received the notice saying it had arrived. Yes, I had to wait a few minutes because there were lots of people picking things up. But once I got my phone, they were very helpful answering questions while I got acquainted with my new device. They've always been very helpful with their support, being able to gear it to my mom, who is, admittedly, not very technologically savvy. Every person has been very patient with her and we always leave satisfied. It's a bonus that Manhattan Village is a relatively nice mall. The other stores here are decent and there are some nice restaurants. There's even a little artificial grass park with a fountain where you'll see lots of families letting their kids play. read more

ZERO STARS, REPEAT ZERO STARS I purchased a charging cord when I bought my I-phone 16pro from T-Mobile. The cord stopped working and I was told to go to an Apple store to get it replaced. I didn't have an appointment, had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to speak with someone. Then I was told that they had to order the power cord because it's a replacement cord and they couldn't give me one that was in stock. I will have to wait for 4 business days for a replacement cord. How ridiculous. Now I'm 4 business days without power cord. I thought I was dealing with Apple but this sounds like Microsoft. I'm not pleased. Yes, it's a busy place and sometimes there's a bit of a wait, even if you have an appointment, but the assistance I've received has always been friendly and helpful. With a little patience, I've found the Apple Store at Manhattan Village to be pretty solid. They are a mess and clearly don't know how to handle customer service. I had an appointment and still waited over 30 minutes without even a simple apology. When the manager tried to resolve the situation, she wasn't able to because she apparently had no authority over her own associates. Terrible experience. It honestly made me rethink my whole relationship with Apple and even consider switching to Samsung. To make matters worse, I left an hour later without the issue being solved. The excuse was that they only had one technician available. IMPORTANT UPDATE: After the bad experience at the Apple Store, I took an appointment the same day at Best Buy, they treated me great and they fixed the phone the same day with less wait and no charge. I genuinely hate how Apple Stores run themselves. Why can't they just have a front desk with registers and people checking you out? I go in to buy a phone today and a man comes up to me and asks what I'm there for. I tell him I'm looking to buy a new phone, he then ushers me to the side of the store to wait in some ambiguous line with 3 other people. I get over to the line and the guy at the front of the line is pretty irritated and seems to have been there a while, he is complaining to one of the employees that he has cash and just wants to buy the phone and leave, the employee explains that someone has to come grab him from this line to purchase the phone. Then there was another girl ahead of me that seemed very annoyed as well and had also been waiting a while apparently. It's a very weird system, they had employees walking around the store that didn't look busy at all, yet no one available to just check us out when we were already to purchase. We also weren't given a time frame for when we would be helped, and since there is no register area you can't really get a sense of where you are in line to make a purchase. Overall it just seemed like a mess that could be fixed by at least having registers and a place you go to checkout. I ended up leaving after waiting in line another 5 mins and seeing no one else be helped. I'd rather just have a normal store system where you walk in and grab the stuff you need and checkout. read more

came in to fix my old iPad and the employee (bald lady) told me that since I forgot my password, there was "no hope" to get help. She seemed irritated or didn't really try to help. I've never had an experience like this at an Apple Store before, i usually come in tell them what I need help with and they sit me down, and help. She was turning me away right away. Not good customer service, felt discriminatory or odd. &When I asked to get help from someone else bc I didnt like how she was speaking to me (how are u immediately told "no" before they even do a check??) she started smiling and told me she was the supervisor. Just weird. ??? I did eventually get in line but I had to over ask for it. I was told to wait 2 hours but I just ended up leaving. I didn't wanna get service there after the way she spoke to me. Curious to see the relatively low rating for this Apple Store. My experience on Friday was outstanding. The staff was to a person friendly and helpful. I was fortunate that the version of iPhone I wanted, which was on back order through the web-site, was available there for in-store purchase. I bought my phone and worked with the staff to get my new phone updated from an iCloud backup. Took about an hour total, during which time I had almost every single question I could think of answered by the team. If they didn't have an answer themselves, they found someone or somewhere on the web that did. I left with my new phone up to date and running perfectly, and left my old phone behind to trade-in for the Apple Hardware Upgrade Program. Flawless. Great work, Apple Manhattan Village. I walked in here to pick up my work laptop for my new job, as the new company sent it here for me to scoop. Woooooooo. New Job. Yayyyyy. Tech Sales, Woooooo! It took about 5 minutes for me to get it and get out of there, but in that time I seen the new VR headset thingy they have. I tried to put it on and take it for a little test ride, but they ran over and said I had to schedule an appointment. I was lowkey annoyed but then took self inventory and realized it's probably for the best as they don't want everyone trying that thing on lol. It has to be such a small pool of people that can afford it. $3500 is NASTY work. I just never see myself wearing a headset like that for any reason. I like the world I live in currently... It's time to upgrade my phone and Luke was ready to assist me! I came in on September 4, 2025. He walked me through with a quick over view of my new phone. He went step by step with all of the options I had for my purchase. He talked about our pets and all the fun we have with a pet. Luke walked me over to Kevin who insured all of my information was transferred to my new phone. I had a major issue with my cell phone on Saturday night. Race as fast as possible for these guys to save me. I needed my cell phone for business and nothing could be fixed that night. I ended up going back that morning ( 11am when they opened ), again with my tablet to fix my issue with my cell phone. These guys had no solution to fixed and get me back on track. 2 days, 4 different employees there and nothing they can't do. My last solution was to run to T-Mobile on Rosecrans and Gateway, two guys there who put their heads together and figured out on how to fixed my problem. This purchase being our 3rd iPhone purchase, we can only applaud the customer service we received from Shawn Peterson! Great Location, good product, terrible customer service. I made an appointment to service my Apple Watch and AirPods. I waited for approximately 1hour to be seen by a technician. Then the technician went to the back with my AirPods, just to come out and tell me there's nothing wrong with it. The technician who helped refused to give me a receipt and her name. This place is a scam on it's own. Someone stole my credit card and bought something at this store. I called them simultaneously while it happened and they did nothing. I believe I spoke to the manager too. He didn't care. He said oh your credit card handles it. My credit card disputed it and they rejected the dispute even though someone actually stole from them. I hate to make things a race thing but I definitely got rubbed the wrong way today. I went in Here's a cleaner, more polished rewrite that keeps your experience and tone intact, but flows better and reads more professionally: I went in today to find out why my AirPods stopped charging and had my two children with me. I was seated at the long table and was told my children could sit at the end. After about 20 minutes, the manager with the gray pixie cut asked if she could have my children give up their seats because they had run out of seating. I understood, as the space is limited and other customers also had appointments. My issue arose when I noticed that my children were asked to move again so another woman and child could sit. I did not say anything I simply shook my head and continued with my appointment. However, it was clear the situation was handled poorly, as one male employee came over to apologize for his manager's actions, and another employee checked in verbally to ensure I still felt comfortable in the store. I never voiced my feelings, but they seemed to recognize that what occurred was not appropriate. The employee who assisted me directly was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He treated both me and my children with care and offered great advice. His service alone was deserving of five stars and is the sole reason for the two star rating overall. read more

Hate writing negative reviews but today the apple store experience was bad. I was ready to buy a 16 Pro Max. I went in and most apple reps were busy so I browsed around. As I wandered around for 20 minutes and reps became free not a single person came up to offer any assistance. Got told different things by three different employees only to be left sitting for half an hour+ after buying a laptop to check it in for a data transfer. (Not work being done--to check it in only which then involved 15 more minutes of the person filling in a form and repeating himself incessantly.) Honestly, this has been the easiest and quickest Apple Store for me so far. I went in, got help, picked out my items, and was right back out the door -- no fuss, no frustration. Usually, I get annoyed waiting forever or feeling overwhelmed, but this location was a breath of fresh air. It's open, spacious, and doesn't have that crazy, crowded atmosphere you sometimes get at other stores. I came back to Apple to have my Berlkin glass screen installed. I sat in the circle waiting for an Apple employee to assist me. Sadly no one asked if I needed service. As they walked by to assist customers, except me. They gave no eye contact, as they scurried to assist others. During my wait of over 30 minutes, I noticed some customers who walked in after me sat around waiting to be serviced also; which never happened. The employees were busy, but not that busy. Only after some began to get up to leave were they serviced. Even both security guards on the store began to watch me, as I was being ignored by most employees. Something to note when coming to this Apple store. After 30+ minutes I got up and started to look at the other merchandise Apple has to offer. Some customers came in and started a line. Only after another customer told the Apple employee I was ahead of their line did he ask how he could help. He referred me to Val. She apologized for the wait. I told her I needed my Belkin glass screen installed, as this is the new one due to my other that cracked. She was familiar with the procedure and happy to assist. She installed my new screen and placed the old one in the Belkin box. I was happy. Val made the rest of my day. The value came from Belkin, smooth transaction, however, Apple could do a better job with their customer service. read more

I played with a display pro max for about ten minutes adding my specs. 1500 dollars out the door. Was looking for a sales person but they ignored me but flocked to couples entering the store. I guess they figured maybe they could sell two phones ? Anyway, my purchase would have taken all of 15 minutes. O waited another 15 minutes then waived "adieu" and left the store. Bunch of idiots. TREAD WITH CAUTION - LOST 10 YEARS OF PICS, COMPLETELY PREVENTABLE. One "genius" deleted all pics from my hard drive after I hounded him about backing the photos up to iCloud or an external hard drive. He got cocky, all my pictures are gone, per Apple's chosen data recovery service. To "compensate" I got a laptop case and $500 off a new laptop. Paid $1100 + tax for Apple to lose a decade of my life due to employee negligence. read more

I can't tell if it's the lack of interest from quality hire or the standards are just that low now. I remember when you could get service walking in. You could get the best service same day. Now you have to play chat with the person that you can tell is working on English. Then you get to deal with rude condescending service people at the store. Quick drop in at store to drop off old trade in. Was told it's quicker than mailing it in with trade-in kit and wait for inspection m, etc. to process trade-in value. Yup got my credit instantly once Mike ran all the diagnostics and all cleared to complete trace in for $. I did make a "shopping" appointment online, just in case. It does help but not necessary for dropping off trade in phone. Just FYI. In the midst of pandemic, yes, you did need an appt to even just enter the store. I always forget how long it takes to upgrade apple items, it's not a quick purchase and leave. The new devices are shipped but need to download and install updated software. This is approx 20 minutes. The variable is how many people are using the Apple wi fi Then it's transferring apps and what not. But they have cool mood music and you can sit .. I only wish they had a coffee bar. So just set your expectations for an hour and you'll get out a bit under that and be fine. To be honest, everyone I've interacted with there were very nice and knowledgeable. It is interesting to listen to the other patrons and see what these folks have to deal with: "My existing Apple Watch is a fake ? Well, can I trade it in on a new one?" Came to this apple store to get my IPhone 17pro max fixed because my speakers stop working but was racially profiled, they did not take my claim seriously, had security guards watching my husband and I the whole time we were there. The girl that was "helping" us compared my 17 to her 15 and said nothing was wrong, I left went to a different Apple Store and my phone was actually malfunctioning. First of all they need a sign that lets customers know they need to get in a line in order to be placed with a Customer Service Associate. Even though we got with one of these associates on a timely basis we were told he couldn't help us with a technical issue, which I thought was very strange?? He did give us a number to call, which we did and the associate at 800-apl-care was extremely helpful, patient and ver accommodating. When you try to call the store directly for questions or service, it's very difficult to get through to anyone. If no one at the site answers, your call gets rerouted to a customer service agent in India who is poorly trained and almost certainly will not be able to answer your question/resolve your issue. Lastly, I dropped my computer off for repair and their team didn't get it done in time for when I said I needed it. read more
