The owner is very nice. She did a great job on my wax. I don't get waxing done regularly, but if I did this would be the place. It did hurt a little, but it always does. I have mainly gone to the chain of European Wax Centers, because they are everywhere. Birch is much less expensive and it is owned by a local mom. She books through Facebook. I'm not sure there's enough room to write about how much I love Lashes by Jacinta! As far as her work goes, Jacinta is an absolute pro at what she does. I have had my lashes done by others, and many were much more expensive and did not last very long. With Jacinta I find that my lashes last most of the two weeks in between fills, with only a few falling out due to growth. Plus I get so many compliments on my lashes! They look so natural but also add a bit of glam. Jacinta will customize the length and look you're going for, which is awesome. She does such a thorough job and she makes it clear that her client's happiness comes fist. In addition, she is very accommodating; I've had to cancel due to illness/scheduling conflicts and she always works to fit me in ASAP. And lastly her prices are the best I've ever seen, but her work is worth every penny and then some. As far as her person goes, there is no one sweeter or more kind. I genuinely look forward to my bi-weekly appointments because it feels like I'm catching up with a friend and not doing business. Plus her daughter is just as lovely as she is, and she's often there to help out and pick out a great Pandora station while I relax and let Jacinta make me look pretty! I adore these two and I will continue to be a client as long as she's in business! Best Brazilian wax I have ever had! Quick and almost painless! Jacinta makes you feel very comfortable, you almost forget you're getting waxed. She presses down to alleviate some of the pain. I used to go here before because I think this place is very friendly but I recently got very disappointed because they are not value their customers. First of all, their price wise aren't consistence. I have messaged the owner asking for the price of a Brazilian wax. She said it's $21 then couple date later I mentioned to come in and purchase 4 Brazilian, she rated it up to $25 and I asked why she said she mistyped. Then, when I went to check them on Groupon, it said Brazilian is $19 and I told her I'm going to purchase up there so I can get the deal but then she told me that she won't take it. SERIOUSLY.... that's not how you do the business... if it SAID $19 on the GROUPON, there is no way you refuse and not giving the service to the purchaser. I can just sue you because of that but I don't want too. BAD read more

I had an amazing experience at Eyelashes by Jacinta! She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My eyelashes look amazing and I get so many compliments on my eyes now. She used minx eyelash extensions that make my eyes pop. I was reluctant to get the extensions initially because my eyes are so sensitive, but they are completely weightless and I do not even feel them. Had a gift certificate for a Brazilian and I wanted to use it so I tried to call and make an appointment over the phone but was directed to make an appointment online. I expressed my concern about not wanting to give out my card information like that and was assured my card would not be charged what so ever and that this was only means to secure the spot. The day of my appointment my period came and I called to reschedule (because gross) and they said usually they charge a small cancelation fee if not within 24hrs but, with these circumstances they understood it was inevitable. Next day I see a charge to my account for $30.00. A)that's more than the cost of the voucher to begin with B) I was told my card WOULD NOT be charged C)why am I being penalized for Mother Nature LOL. My first time trying this place, definitely not my last. Found out about it through a Groupon, and I am happy I did. I almost feel like I didn't pay enough for my Groupon for how satisfied I was with my visit. Appointment was at 1, but I left my house in Providence early to give myself time to find it in case I got lost, which wasn't the case at all. I got there within 15 minutes of my appointment but she was able to take me anyway. The whole experience was swift and painless--literally (which is hard to believe because I got a Brazilian), yet personable. My parents own a salon but do not do bikini waxing, so I really appreciated the familial touch to it. The space is clean and not too small at all, definitely just comfortable enough and unassuming. Jacinta presses down after each strip so the pressure really helps alleviate the pain, and stretches my skin tight before pulling for the wax to have a better grip and less painful removal. Okay, so I was a little scared to get my eyelashes done because I have sensitive eyes and my eyes always water,but once I met Jacinta and she explained the whole procedure and reassured me that it will not effect my eyes due to my sensitivity. I thought she did a good job for the price she charged me. But I did not like the fact that its advertised as a lounge and spa...it is far from that. It is a place that is rented out and ran by her and her daughter only. I played along because it was my first time but I would have felt more comfortable going to a professional place. Jacinta is a nice woman but has a very loud personality and is very outspoken. Which is fine to have but as it being my first time going I just didn't think it was professional at all. As far the lashes go...she did not explain what kind of lashes she had or was going to put on. She also didn't give me any options to look at or anything if that sort. Again I didn't want to make scene and also felt like it was just a lesson learned and I wouldn't go back. My advice would be just to get a staff and also let people know ahead of time what to expect. I would have paid more money to go somewhere more upscale and professional rather then to a place someone just threw together for now for a few extra bucks. read more

After moving here from NY I was apprehensive and half expected to try out a few eyelash places before I found someone who could provide the quality that I was accustomed to. I was fortunate enough to hit it right the first time with Birch Lash Lounge and haven't needed to go anywhere else for the last 18 months and have no need or desire to go elsewhere. Jacinta really listens and works with you to meet your expectations. My lashes are consistently beautiful and have never had any concerns or issues. They are very accommodating and flexible with your schedule, and there no issues when I need to bring my children who are always warmly received and fussed over by sweet Jasmin. The prices are great , trust me.. I used to pay double! If you want to go to a pretentious impersonal spa with random technicians then this may not be the place for you. Birch Lash Lounge & Spa is clean, intimate and inviting where they really cater to YOUR needs. Jacinta loves what she does and it shows in her work and the way that she treats her customers.
