I like the blackberry syrup a lot! It's a unique berry flavor note to add to your latte or matcha. I also like how you can add oat milk for no additional charge. The yuzu honey sparkling drink was super refreshing and yummy! My drink had way too much ice in it though. The workers were very nice, and there is some searing inside. If my co-worker hadn't told me about this nice place, I never would have known it was tucked back in the old Citibank building, near where the library used to be. We went for an afternoon coffee break and it was a great experience. That staff was friendly and there was a wide variety of coffee styles and pours. I had a cold brew and the coffee was really good. If you can find this place (just walk in by the Target and head back) you should definitely give it a shot. read more

I love the place from the coffee to the staff. It's a great place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the best features I can say is the fact that they have a public book case to take and add books.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also recommend if you are around the area and want coffee, please be on the lookout for their seasonal sign they have outside the store. You have to try their seasonal coffee from blackberry in the summer to pumpkin spice in the fall and mint mocha for seasonal delight. I've yet to try their spring flavor because they are still fairly new to me Also, if you are in the mood for tea not coffee, ask them for the tea menu, they have one. Nice little coffee store tucked away in the building that connects to Target. I've gotten the Latte and Americano from there and both are pretty solid and do a good job of keeping me awake post-lunch. The service is quick and friendly, and wasn't too crowded during the times I've been. This location doesn't really have seating, making it more ideal for grab and go as opposed to somewhere to sit down to study or do work in. Birch coffee is within a larger office building, the same one that Target also is in. The coffee here is good, and it's quick service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]No room inside to drink/eat, but there is a rotunda space with a skylight as part of the larger office building, which is a nice, bright space to enjoy food/drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The almond croissant was just okay- it was a dry and a bit overcooked. I've had better in the neighborhood so I'd stick to the coffee drinks here rather than the food. read more

YES! YES! YES! I'm so glad that this place is in the area. They make this delicious drink called blackberry latte. You can have it iced or warm, I recommend the iced. It's sad it is where the library used to be years prior but this coffee makes up for it. The customer service is very nice. You get a cute little coffee stamper so your 11th coffee is free or maybe it was the 10th, not too sure. There is seating inside for about four people. The best place is to walk towards target and side in the little round area to look up at the skylight (look at my photos to see). They have a nice little table area so you can add your sugars, honey and other stuff you'd like added to your coffee. I'd definitely recommend this to other yelpers. read more

I've been working in the area for over a year now and I'm still coming here for my morning coffee most days. The employees are always really nice to me. The flavors here are good so I've been coming back I just wish the sizes were bigger. Partners across the street gives you a bigger small size for cheaper. read more

Excited to see another coffee shop in LIC! Birch Coffee locates within One Court Square - you can find an entrance next to Target! (Apparently there will be a Bonchon there in the future too!?) Great seeing Birch coffee opening up in LIC. It's located inside the atrium where there is seating. Beautifully decorated interior, good staff and lots of options for a perfect coffee. Typical NYC price for a drink. Closes at 3 which is the only downside. read more

I saw Birch Coffee and decided to try it since I was there. The drinks are pretty decent, and the baristas are friendly. I liked the merchandise they sold, and I am fascinated by this camping French press they had out for samples--the coffee was still warm (and I'm thinking about getting one myself). We also had a Nutella banana bread, which was pretty good. I thought Birch was good, but wished they had more food options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's not a huge amount of space to sit inside, but there are some tables and chairs in the corporate building outside (which is where we sat).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think I'd be back for grab and go coffee, but there are other coffee shops nearer to me that also have a greater selection of food/pastries that I might opt to go to since I'm someone who likes a lil treat with my coffee! read more
