If my co-worker hadn't told me about this nice place, I never would have known it was tucked back in the old Citibank building, near where the library used to be. We went for an afternoon coffee break and it was a great experience. That staff was friendly and there was a wide variety of coffee styles and pours. I had a cold brew and the coffee was really good. If you can find this place (just walk in by the Target and head back) you should definitely give it a shot.

Swung by here for some quick coffee in the morning and thought that it was so cute! Located in the same building as the Target, this coffee shop can be easy to miss, but you should definitely try it out if you're nearby. They have fun seasonal drinks, and the staff here is so friendly and gives great recommendations. I got a blackberry matcha here when I came, and it was amazing. Would definitely come back!

I love coffee and all I can say is wow this is such an amazing, cozy and beautiful location for a cafe. Today I wanted to get some coffee so I decided to head to Birch Coffee. I love the place from the coffee to the staff. It's a great place. One of the best features I can say is the fact that they have a public book case to take and add books. I also recommend if you are around the area and want coffee, please be on the lookout for their seasonal sign they have outside the store. You have to try their seasonal coffee from blackberry in the summer to pumpkin spice in the fall and mint mocha for seasonal delight. I've yet to try their spring flavor because they are still fairly new to me Also, if you are in the mood for tea not coffee, ask them for the tea menu, they have one. Also, it's a fantastic little place to drink coffee or tea with family and friends. Another one of the most beautiful things about that location is the atrium if you need to read a book, use your computer, and hang out with co-workers or friends or like is said on top, family.

Birch coffee is within a larger office building, the same one that Target also is in. The coffee here is good, and it's quick service! No room inside to drink/eat, but there is a rotunda space with a skylight as part of the larger office building, which is a nice, bright space to enjoy food/drink. The almond croissant was just okay- it was a dry and a bit overcooked. I've had better in the neighborhood so I'd stick to the coffee drinks here rather than the food.

YES! YES! YES! I'm so glad that this place is in the area. They make this delicious drink called blackberry latte. You can have it iced or warm, I recommend the iced. It's sad it is where the library used to be years prior but this coffee makes up for it. The customer service is very nice. You get a cute little coffee stamper so your 11th coffee is free or maybe it was the 10th, not too sure. There is seating inside for about four people. The best place is to walk towards target and side in the little round area to look up at the skylight (look at my photos to see). They have a nice little table area so you can add your sugars, honey and other stuff you'd like added to your coffee. I'd definitely recommend this to other yelpers.

This birch coffee is pretty newer compared to the other locations. It's inside a building connected to Solidcore, but it has a lot of tables by the coffee shop. When you walk in, you'll immediately notice that this place is mainly for a quick grab and go. I really enjoy their iced vanilla lattes and chai tea, but you really can't go wrong with their drinks, the barista does a great job making the drinks, and I've really been a regular since!

Excited to have a new coffee spot in the area! Tucked inside the atrium of the Altice building (accessible through the entrance of Target) is the newest location of Birch. I tried an oat milk flat white, which was fantastic. No seating inside the coffee shop itself, but the atrium has some. Will for sure be back when I do my next Target run.

They're located inside the building next to Target. It's a super cute, small store. They have a small selection of baked goods available. The baristas are friendly and quick. It was busy but I didn't have to wait long for my order.

Excited to see another coffee shop in LIC! Birch Coffee locates within One Court Square - you can find an entrance next to Target! (Apparently there will be a Bonchon there in the future too!?) Birch coffee has cute interior - everything was clean and they sell a variety of coffee beans, some merch, as well as brewing tools for the coffee lovers out there :) The iced latte I ordered was great - personally will say Birch Coffee & No Stress Coffee are my two favorite spots in LIC so far.

Obviously as a wheelchair user, I cannot sit at the high tables, and when I have asked the staff for understanding, other places have denied me. Ines let me use my laptop at a wheelchair accessible table without any fuss. Mark was very gracious. When I asked, he said, "we will make an exception." I felt heard without advocating for common sense and I greatly appreciate the humility. Thank you!

The escargot was covered with pesto that tasted like the basil wasn't fresh. Also, I'm sure there was plenty of garlic because the restaurant smelled like it, but I would have liked more garlic in this dish. The meatballs were mostly bread (there may have been some meat). After we complained, the item was removed from our bill by our friendly, polite, and conscientious server. Note: This is a French restaurant, but they didn't have any butter for the bread.

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though.
