    Gingerbread latte *chefs kiss*
    Joseph F.

Walked into the LIC location on a Saturday morning and expected a massive line. I was pleasantly surprised to be out with a drink in under 10 minutes. The place was buzzing. Every table was taken and the energy was high. The service really stood out. The barista was genuinely friendly and clearly knew her craft. Just look at the latte art. They have a large outdoor seating area in the back that looks nice for the warmer months. * Gingerbread Latte (10/10): I am usually a black filter coffee or straight espresso drinker because I actually like the taste of coffee. The Christmas spirit got to me and I went for the seasonal special. This was surprisingly excellent. It wasn't syrupy or artificial. It tasted like actual gingerbread. The only real downside is the seating situation. Since it's cold out the small indoor section was packed.

We were staying in Long Island City and this spot was just around the corner from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Truthfully, this place did not live up to expectations, but I'll start with the positives. The space is VERY cute. The inside is cozy, clean, and well decorated, and they have an outside patio that's also very pretty. We came in on a weekday morning, and the inside was packed, but there is plenty of seating outside if you can brave colder weather outside of the summer time. Unfortunately, at the time I visited the back patio smelled strongly of fish, which was off putting when having a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. While I won't hold this against them as you can't control the air outside, unfortunately everything else at Partners was a letdown. The service is lacking in many ways. When it was my turn to order, the barista at the cash register was talking with her coworker, so I waited for a bit. During this time another barista behind her looked up at me and asked what I wanted. I gave my order and that barista walked away. I waited for a bit more and the original barista at the register who was talking asked me what my order was and I had to repeat it. I usually don't mind laid back service, but this was giving more disorganized than anything else. It didn't help that during that time I noticed multiple other customers have issues with their orders, or like my partner, have his order mixed up with a complete different person. While the inside was full with people, it didn't seem like the bar itself was busy, so these mixups seemed easily avoidable. The real letdown was my hot Rose Cardamom Latte that started going cold before my partner's drink even came out. The taste of the latte was decent, but I've never had a coffee place serve me a cup that's lukewarm. Since it was cold outside my coffee didn't even make it down the street before most of the heat was gone. I really wanted to like this spot, but I've found better coffee elsewhere in the city and I don't think I would come back.

We walked in on a weekend afternoon and it was very busy inside. The seating was full and the tables were cramped and very close together. They also had no laptop signs up. We ordered our drinks to go and the service was fast. I got the seasonal orange cardamom latte which had a strong orange flavor, but couldn't really taste the cardamom. I enjoyed the drink, but it's a pricey coffee.

Partners Coffee is another place that I've strolled by countless times. Honestly, I've been skipping it on my way to the Starbucks across the street. Today, I saw a lady stepping out of Partner's with a colorful looking coffee order that made me go inside. Partner's is cute and cozy- really cozy (small) and there was great r&b music playing when I got there. The servers were warm and welcoming. I ordered an iced coffee with mocha flavoring. It was good but kinda pricey in my opinion. I did a grab and go today but one of these warm weather days, I'm gonna sit in the patio area in the back. I like it!

Really great breakfast sandwiches- especially the one with smoked bacon. I loved their Cherry Almond Latte. On the more expensive side, though, and it gets pretty busy in there. Interior is really interesting- they've knocked out the top floor so the ceilings are really high. Cute spot for a casual date or for catching up with a friend.

Busy spot serving up great drinks. Wouldn't recommend coming to stay for a long time, but it's a nice place to sit and chat if you can find a seat! I've been here a few times now, the last time I got the black sesame cold brew (milk alternative was included in price!) It was pretty good (and pretty sweet) and you can actually taste some of the black sesame! I like that it was inspired by the Chinese dessert "tang yuan" and the bits of black sesame def reminded me of it. I also got a butter croissant, which is just how I like it. Buttery, flaky, but gone too soon :( I wished they heated it up for me but I brought it home and microwaved for 10 seconds and it was great! We've also recently bought their beans. I'm assuming they roast somewhere regularly as they actually had roast dates on the bag and it was only a week old when we got them. We got their decaf and another bag, so far the decaf has been great. There's an outdoor patio, wifi, no outlets Not sure about restrooms :c

The food was so good! Fruit was sweet and fresh. I enjoyed the hot oatchata and it was delicious, I drank it so fast! The breakfast sandwich was filling and still good as leftovers. Service was quick even though they were packed! Could use some outlets around for people working, but otherwise the ambiance was great and they had a little outdoor space out back as well.

My favorite spot in the neighborhood to meet someone for coffee! The inside seating is often full of remote workers but there's usually space out back on the patio, which is sunny and delightful. Dairy milk is from Battenkill upstate, and there's also oat milk and almond milk. Even better, Partners is one of very few businesses that offers an IDNYC special ($2 cold brew)!

Decent coffee shop in Long Island City / Queens area. I went here on Saturday morning and it was slightly busy. We got the seasonal signatures since I like to seek innovative drinks as I can easily just make a standard latte or similar standard coffee drinks without paying such a premium. The seasonal signatures we tried were Oatchata and The Nutty Irishman. Both were good on paper but taste fell a little flat. Oatchata has mostly cinnamon flavor but the oat milk kind of mutes the real horchata flavor. The Nutty Irishman is interesting as there's cereal marshmallow like Lucky Charms but the way they design the drink makes it incredibly difficult to eat any cereal marshmallow while enjoying the drink. Overall, at $7 before tax, it's a bit high for the quality of drink

service: 1000/10 I was sitting in the back patio and the barista ran outside to hand-deliver me the coffee he roasted for me AND THEN my guy ran back a second time to give me a paper bag without me even asking. these people aren't messing around vibes: in a city that's quite overstimulating and filled with soulless, venture-backed cavas and sweet greens, partners coffee lic is my safe haven. their back patio is easily one of my favorite spots in nyc what I get: * I always get their iced vanilla latte. good coffee flavor, not too sweet. * their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away. both sandwich options are delicious!

It's my first time visiting New York in a few years and i was so excited for some of their good coffee shops. Partners was down the street from my hotel and I noticed they had a handful of lattes that sounded really good. Once arriving, the tables and seats were completely full with people studying and working. The baristas were all chatting and waiting for the next customer to come. We walked up to order some cardamom rose lattes since they sounded really good for a cold day like today. One of the baristas walked up and asked what we wanted then turned around and walked away. Another walked up and took our order and charged us and walked away as well to start talking to her coworkers again. We got my partners latte after a minute or so yet we had to stand around waiting for mine. One of the baristas called out some girls name and handed my drink to some lady. She told them she didn't order that and gave it back. At this time I didn't know it was my latte so we kept standing there waiting. After about 5 minutes and a small group of people forming around us, I asked if my latte was the one that had been sitting on the counter. He said "yeah it's a cardamon rose latte for Laura". We looked around and no one ordered it so I took the latte because I was the only one waiting for that latte. We went to the back patio to see the seating and right when we walked out, it smelled HORRIBLE. Like rotten fried fish. It was just us and one other girl outside eating. We got so grossed out we had to leave after a minute because it smelled so bad. I tried the coffee when we got back inside and it was sooo cold so a hot latte. My partner also informed me the barista poured out a good chunk of my latte before handing it back to me because he gave it to someone else originally. I am pretty disappointed in this place since I was really excited to try it yet I paid over $7 for a half gone, room temperature latte with bad service. I don't think I'd return to this place any time soon.

I came here to get some work done, and it was a great coffee to be at! The inside of the coffee shop is bright and spacious, with lots of seating. There's also an outside seating area that would be amazing to sit at when the weather is nicer! This coffee shop has a bathroom and free wifi to get your work done, and overall great ambiance for hanging out, studying, or just picking up a quick drink/bite!

This was a great find for me when I was staying in Queens for work. It was a rainy morning and I was craving a good breakfast sandwich. Fortunately I was in luck when I walked in. It was pretty busy inside so I didn't get a chance to sit and eat there. I had a sandwich and an iced tea. The service was quick and friendly. I went back with it to my hotel and enjoyed. The sandwich was pretty egg dominant but it had a great flavor and the cheese was melted perfectly. Even in the rainy walk back, it was still very hot. I would've gone back the next day but really wanted to try a bunch of different places. But I will be back next time I'm in Queens.

Unfortunately, it was totally bland and not large at all. The side sauce added nothing and over 30$ with tax/tip. For entrees, we shared the lobster pasta and the guazzetto di Pesci. The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.

They did bring out complimentary bread, which was appreciated, though it felt like something that should be standard rather than a highlight. One item someone in our group wanted -- the octopus burger -- was unfortunately unavailable, which was disappointing, especially given that it was brunch and still relatively early in the day. That said, the dishes we did order were good and well prepared. The space itself is nice: the front functions as a cute coffee shop, while the back has tables for sit-down dining. Because of that setup, the vibe feels more casual, but the menu offers solid options. Overall, it was a good experience, just not a great one -- a decent brunch spot, but nothing that blew us away.
