Food is good. Service is not. No one is mean. But they seem a bit clueless as to run the store. They lost our order. Then it was wrong. Then the soup was cold. It took a really really long time to eventually get everything rectified and no one seemed to really care until the very end when a man nicely apologized and offered us some free cupcakes. I've never been a fan of icing but their cupcakes are to die for! Not as sugary as your typical store bought cupcakes. My favorite flavors are fresh strawberries, fresh coconut, and luscious lemon. I can eat 6 minis in one sitting (don't judge me). Definitely coming back to try out their lunch menu. read more

The sandwiches are so good and unique in flavor, and moderately priced. I love that their ingredients are locally sourced, so definitely worth it. Their cupcakes are AMAZING! Probably one of the only places that can make a gluten free cake moist and delicious. We used the O.G. Bird Bakery in San Antonio for our wedding and were super happy with our cupcakes. When we found out they extended to Dallas, it was perfect. We had them recreate my grandparents wedding cake for their 65th wedding anniversary, and it was adorable. My grandfather has Celiac Disease, and can only eat gluten free so we were super happy and he loved the cake. (Also in the pics i knocked the big flower off the side of the top, whoops. This place is in one of the most prestigious shopping centers in town. Stopped by here around 2pm to order birthday cake but it was more out of curiosity about its celebrity owner than anything else. I order a sample of mini cupcakes to go and a pimento cheese tart for dine in. The tart took a long while although it was already baked and just needed to be heat up. Yet I was most shocked when the staff brought the tart over on a badly chipped aqua color plate that has a larger than a quarter-size broken edge which shows through in a contrasting bright white ceramic. It was almost a disgrace as I wouldn't expect to see broken serving ware like this handed to customers even at Cafeteria kind of setting. That leads me to doubt if other aspects of this bakery are properly managed. Very disappointing. read more

Frosted sugar cookies, best I ever had. Breakfast casserole with hatch chiles...scrumptuous! Nutella bread, OMG. Mini cupcakes, really adorable with lots of flavor choices! Waters, mini cupcakes (served in egg carton holders), matches, mugs, packaging for my catered order...all cute as a button and packaged in such a way that it was so easy for me to carry and transport. I did not order either of their brownie options, but the group ahead of me were raving about the brownies, and they definitely looked delicious. I will definitely have to try one next time. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I wish my pre-ordered cupcake order (ordered several days in advance) had been filled early enough in the day on pickup day so that I got everything I ordered. But the day I went to pick up my order, they were out of full sized cupcakes, and most of the flavors I had ordered for my dozen of minis were not available either. I asked why my order wasn't filled when they baked the cupcakes, and they just apologized for not reserving back what was needed for my order. Luckily, my guests had no clue what I ordered, so the were unaware that these flavors were not what I ordered. But the bakery was willing to refund me the big cupcake since they were totally out of those in all flavors, or offered several other options (we went with sugar cookies), and they were very apologetic and nice about it. But even with this little hiccup....I would use them again in a heartbeat because those cookies, that breakfast casserole, and the nutella bread were just so amazing, and adorable.
