I've ordered from here several times now, and it's been consistently good. The cafe is based on the idea of cake that is baked directly in a mini jar that you can eat in small portions. The owner's mom bakes the cakes on her own, and so, justifiably, the flavors were amazing and rustic. We tried the birthday cake, red velvet and Oreo cake jars. I do believe that this is an up and coming store and they have lots to do before they can go full scale, but they are on a path to expanding to more locations. But calling the number on file I spoke to the store owner I believe who told me this was a temporary situation where they only open between 6:30pm and 10:30pm during weeknights. Wow. When me and my family went to Cake4One we had just finished a fun outing and this was quite literally our cherry on top of the night. Mrs. Kelly the owner greeted us with a beautiful smile and positive attitude even though it was 11 at night and she must have been tired from working. My family and I could tell that she puts everything she can into her business and to see that is amazing. The cake we got more than good. It is moist and fluffy and the amount of icing it has on top is the perfect amount. My dad loves carrot cake and this was the first time he tried one from a bakery and it actually felt like the treat captured why he loves carrot cake. My friend and I came here for a sugar craving. I love chocolate cake, I'm a chocolate cake connoisseur so obviously I tried the chocolate cake. It was seriously amazing. So delicious, not too rich, and the icing was impeccable. I also have a nut allergy and they reassured me and said that while nuts are in the facility, they take great care to avoid cross contamination which really helped ease my mind since I tend to not feel comfortable getting desserts from places where the reassurance isn't there. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner when we went and his pride for his business was palpable. His knowledge of everything and his passion while helping us pick flavors was very encouraging.
