I love local bakeries!! This bakery has been on my to-go list for a while now, and I finally made my way there today! They don't offer a wide variety of breads (only a small rack) but they do have a nice variety of cupcake flavors ranging from taro to pandan, durian, lychee and green tea! My friend and I got a red bean bun, a pandan custard bun, a custard bun, an egg tart, a pandan tart and a taro cupcake- which amounted to about $10. What I loved about all of it was that none of it was super sweet, only slightly sweet which was perfect!! My favorite was definitely the taro cupcake. It was a light spongey cupcake with a fresh taro filling!! Not too sweet, spongey, and the flavor was so good! I loved that the filling was made with real taro! The cake and frosting were not too sweet just as other reviews had mentioned. They used fresh slices of strawberries. The second cake I ordered was a specialty cake for a gender reveal. After a family member recommended this place to us when they bought the taro flavored cake (which everyone loved btw), we decided to order a cake for my dad's birthday from here. The young lady upfront was SO friendly and helpful! She assisted us through the whole ordering process, thoroughly answering all our questions and reassuring us that the cake will be ready for us to pick up the next day (Because we visited the bakery the day before my dad's birthday, we were worried that the cake may not be ready by the next day). They also double checked the spelling of the message. When I came to pick it up the next day about 30 minute earlier than scheduled, the same person remembered me and quickly went to the back to write down the message on the cake and neatly package it up. The way they packed the cake was pretty neat so that the cake wasn't ruined on the drive home. We ordered the smallest size - 6in round cake - in the coffee w/ young coconut flavor. The cake tasted absolutely amazing! Our family doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth, but the cake had the perfect amount of sweetness! There were coconut pieces not just on the outside but in all the layers so every bite will always have that perfect combo of coffee and coconut. I have two words for you - DURIAN. CUPCAKES. For some bakeries, adding durian to anything would spell doom so they avoid it. Can you imagine offending a great number of your sensitive guests just for one dessert? So if I want anything durian flavored that is not sealed hard candy, I have to make it myself. But here at M2M, you can get durian cupcakes! Mind you, the flavor is not super strong but the frosting is very creamy and if you close your eyes, the durian scent hits you in the face. And I love it! The other thing I love here is the pandan egg custard. They have the regular kind too but pandan! It's grassy and adds a beautiful aroma to any dessert. The custard itself tastes fine. You can get something a bit better tasting at 85C but I love pandan so much, I would happily buy more of these if they are available. The bakery is small and not super well stocked so if you want something (or desperately need something), call ahead and order in advance! It will be worth it! read more

My review is only based off the 2 cupcakes I tried, that's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. I got the matcha and red velvet cupcakes. I'm a match maniac so anytime I find something with that flavor I have to try it. I love trying Asian desserts and I've been let down in the past by matcha because their desserts don't tend to be overly sweet but this cupcake was the right balance. The cupcake was so light and fluffy sort of the texture of soda cushions without the taste lol. And the frosting was milky and as light as a cloud and pretty much dissolved as soon as it hit my tongue. The white chocolate curls on top also added another dimension of sweetness.
