Neither of us had ever been in an accident before, and with only the one car and no one to call, I had no idea what to do. Our usual tow truck guys were in the midst of helping with a huge accident and couldn't help for hours and I couldn't find any good information on the name they referred. So I quickly searched and found a few others and Pippin was my first call. I feel badly because I think I woke the lady up, but she calmed me down, gave me useful tips and sent a tow truck out to my husband. When I explained that we had no one we could call and no other calls, she even agreed that the tow driver could bring him home. She told me that since we were filing a claim on the car that they could include the tow into it, so I wouldn't have to worry about paying them myself. The driver was there within 20 minutes (A/Z intersection). They'd dropped the car at Pippin's lot first and then the driver brought my husband home. He was super friendly, a nice guy who even gave us a couple more tips for when we called in the claim. He was also pretty happy that the officers were still there writing the report when he'd come for the car because he got to take the deer. He even offered to cut us off some of the meat. I'd had enough of that deer, so I declined, but I'd definitely call these guys again! Their help and advice meant so much to me. They're not just a business, they're human beings who care. Next time I need help, they're my first call.

I called Pippin based on their 4 star review average on Yelp and a driver showed up 45 minutes later. He came in a grossly oversized vehicle (which contributed to the main problem I have with Pippin) which was a very large Peterbilt to tow our 21 foot Chevy Express. The driver was nice and did a decent job hooking it up, towing and dropping the vehicle 56 miles away at my parents house because it was on the weekend and wasn't sure where was best to take it. After dropping the vehicle we were hit with the very large bill of $1487!!! I asked if there was a military discount and he came back with $907!!! I have since had it towed (on a flatbed) 34 miles to a repair shop which is going to rebuild the transmission and that tow bill was much more inline at $170. Pippin should have sent the correct sized tow truck and charged around $250-$300 instead of gouging me and my wife. DO NOT USE PIPPIN UNLESS YOU HAVE $1000 extra dollars in your pocket!!!! I gave two stars (instead of one) because the driver did a decent job and the extremely high cost was not his fault.

I finally reached someone in dispatch at AAA who helped me. He referred my call To Coopers and I got an immediate call back from Warren ( I think) and he was there, as promised, in twenty minutes. One of your drivers was parked behind me. When I tell you I had literally just closed my door and the driver honked at me. I opened my door and said "um you can wait until I'm finished thank you". Then he starts yelling at me and yelling obscenities at me because I wasn't moving fast enough for him apparently. Of course I yelled back because I don't know who he thought he was talking to like that. I'm sorry I just got off of work and I don't deserve that. Sorry if he was having a bad day, but to take it out on me when there were other pumps wide open is just crazy to me.
