I went to the store thinking I would be able to purchase the Bostons without the soft foot bed in dark brown. The store had almost zero in stock and all, but one pair were the soft foot bed. In addition to that, the mark up on the shoes even after a military discount is ridiculous. I will just go online and purchase my shoes for now on. read more

The bald man, dressed in a Rolex and assuming the role of a manager, was incredibly rude. I purchased a pair of scratched shoes from him. He allowed his shoes clerk to hand me the new ones she had brought from the back. However, he snatched them out of her hands and declared that they were all scratched, explaining that that's how they came. manager then snatched the box from the assistant's hand and stated that they were all like this. I bought them took five steps out of the store and turned around and returned them. Despite my attempts to return the shoes, he opened the box as if I had damaged them. He watched me leave. He's attitude left such a sour taste I didn't feel right taking them home. He never made eye contact with me. Later, I bought the Birkenstocks at the actual store in Houston and inquired if they came scratched. They assured me that they didn't, unless purchased from a resale store. The other shoe attendants were all women and very pleasant, but the manager was truly awful. I will never visit that store again. read more

Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. My friend bought me a pair of Birks from Nordstrom and I needed to check out some other sizes so I came to BA. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered a lot of info regarding care and breaking my shoes in, even after I was up front that I wasn't going to be purchasing a pair from them. Terrific personal service and a high quality product make a 5 star review every time. After selecting my sandals if choice the staff ensured comfort by punching extra holes in the straps for days when my feet swell. Sandals are extremely comfortable, if a little on the high price side. All my previous sandals have been department store or wal-mart so i was a bit sticker shocked at $145. But at this stage if my life I have grown weary of Chinese junk and i will enjoy the German engineered marvels for a long time. read more

I am thrilled to be a customer of Birkenstock Attitudes. This store is a small, family owned business, that provides top notch customer service. I was searching for a pair of Birkenstock Arizona's Big Buckle Gator Print in Brown. The Birkenstocks were not listed on their webpage, but when I reached out to Paul, he immediately checked his stock and found a pair in my size!! Paul provided me with photos of the exact pair of Arizonas that I would be receiving. He mailed them on a Saturday and I received them on Monday (all the way in California), which seems lightening fast if you consider the distance (TX to CA).
