This is a to go meal review- Me and my husband were cold and hungry during the freeze and double checked with them by calling they were open. We ordered on DoorDash- Chicken biryani Garlic naan Butter panner Pakoras It arrived still hot! The paneer came With rice, I noticed it was a bit on the sweeter end. I also think the base of the curry is made with water not milk or cream, the consistency I'm used to with indian food is different. It was mild! Which I appreciated since I cannot handle spicy food. Garlic naan was good! Pakoras were a bit too soft and oily for me but tasted good. All of this came with raita, what we thought was a sweet chutney and mint chutney but the sweet chutney might have ended up as biryani sauce? It was different! Overall food was decent, I wouldn't necessarily be back for their curries but do want to try their biryani. I'm guessing they are known for biryani since it is caused Biryani Express. My husband really enjoyed the chicken biryani!

Updating the review: bad food is health hazard, changing stars to minimum aloo masala was spoilt in the masala dosa, They took it back and packed a 'fresh' one but that smelt even worse than the first. Bad! We got the chilli bajji to enjoy the rain outside and crispy corn, both these were crispy hot and excellent.... yummy. Today's restaurant lesson: nothing which requires aloo masala should ever be ordered here.

Did an order through ubereats. Everything was fresh, flavorful and decent portions. We had the butter chicken, garlic naan, chana masala, bhindi masala and samosas.

It was pretty good. The chicken 65 had a little too much grease. The goat curry was good. Pretty normal. The biryani was good too. Mango lassi was fresh and thick. Service was good too. Place was decent. Overall, an ok experience. Pretty normal. Not spectacular but good. I would go back for good food.

Malai Kofta (top), Paneer Tikka Masala (bottom), 2 Piece Samosa (both plates), Butter Naan (both plates).

Visited them before they moved to the new location. Loved it then but it's so much more comfortable and pretty than before. Love the mini colored fires. Food hasn't changed. So good. And our server was so sweet. We chatted about the future of the restaurant, introducing more Indian foods like specials and such. I love this place. I will also say my US Navy Vet husband has been all over the world, and this is his favorite Indian restaurant.

This was my second time going to this place, and I really enjoy it! The waiters are super friendly, and the food comes out fast. I used to not like samosas, however, this place changed my mind about them. Love this place, and I will continue going here as long as they keep it up! My favorite thing here is the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan. I know that's very typical to order, but they do it so well here. It's creamy and the chicken pieces are large, tender, and there's many. I got a few bones, but I didn't mind since the pieces were so big. The curry is on the sweeter side, however it's still good. The naan is fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, super garlicky, and just delicious. Overall, I ordered two curries just for myself, and it lasted me three separate meals. The portions are definitely big, so you'll be getting your money's worth.

Best Indian Foods in Pearland, TX. The tandoori chickens were delicious alone with the Briyani chicken rice.

It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking even if you don't get one of the spots up front. It wasn't too busy when I arrived. I'm sure since I arrived after buffet hours. The buffet ends at 3pm but there's lots of room in the buffet area for tons of options. The restaurant is clean and pretty spacious inside. The young lady at the counter greeted me warmly and kindly rang me up for my rasmalai I added to my order upon arrival. The chicken curry was good. Not amazing or the best I ever had but I would eat it again. It came with rice. I'm always surprised when Indian restaurants charge extra for rice. The potato and peas samosas were big, crispy on the outside and nice and soft with potatoey goodness on the inside. They were absolute perfection when dipped into the tartly sweet chutney sauce. I concluded my meal with the rasmalai dessert that tasted of rose, condensed milk and pistachios. I just wished it had a little more bits of pistachio.

The biryani packed a good amount of spice, which I personally loved. The chicken tikka masala was decent but pretty standard. The paneer dish, though, was definitely unusual and had a flavor that felt a bit off on its own, but it worked better when paired with rice. Prices were a bit on the higher side, especially for a more casual, hole in the wall kind of place. Our waitress said we should try more unique dishes next time. Overall, it's a good restaurant with an interesting, fusion menu. I'd come back to try other dishes and see what else stands out.

Pearland has its own Indian food truck Mumbai to Mangalore…read more! The small truck has plenty of options. They claim to be street food from the coastal south and they do have items that are not normally available in restaurants like the Neer Dosa, or goli baje which is a popular Mangalore snack ( pls note : Mangalore and Bangalore are completely different regions of the state of Karnataka in India) The food truck is in the parking lot of the new gas station Mustang Express. We tried a lot of items on their menu: Pani puri Samosa chat Neer dosa ( of course) Vada pav Schezwan rice My fav was the Vada Pav. The Neer dosa was good too. They have a single table in table you want to sit, but I did see ppl take carry outs more often. A good initiative. A good and economically priced stop for Indian street food. There was no crowd as it was a cold weekday and ppl seemed to prefer to-go, which worked good for us.

Thank god we found this!…read more After finishing our lunch at Wrap & Roll, we saw this out of the corner of the eye and decided to stop here as the girlfriend was looking for some caribbean snacks. Being from St Croix island in the Virgin Islands, seeing the menu and taking in the smells of this place gave her memories of back home. Of course I was happy to indulge her request as it gave me an opportunity to try some handheld eats. First the beef pattie, pretty big and so savory with the meat melting in your mouth and the dough having a nice texture and crust. And then the saheena; OMG! It was my first time having this lovely pastry which is made of chickpeas, spinach, and caribbean spices. You'll be hooked on this after one bite. Texture was similar to a savory piece of cornbread. Of course I was very happy with this item. The girlfriend ordered a currant roll which had some sweetness to it with a flaky crust. I enjoyed it but not as much as I was scarfing down my beef pattie and saheena. They also serve traditional caribbean eats including jerk chicken, oxtails, bake & saltfish, and roti wraps. We noticed a lot of people place to go orders here and call ahead for pick up. There were several bags of eats waiting as we witnessed people roll in and pick them up while having small talk with the owners. All those items looked delicious and we plan to come back and try those out. We also talked to the owners for a bit, they're a husband/wife team who've owned/operated this place for a while. Super polite and gracious, they helped me navigate the menu and explained what the items would be like when I ordered. Sadly I could not get the Aloo Pie (sold out) but they assured me it's worth having and to come back and try it (which we will). Pearland is lucky to have this place here. Definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!
