Biscossi's is a small, unassuming, Italian restaurant and pizzeria that serves a nice variety of foods my family likes. The menu has quite a few options, but we've stuck mostly with their entrees and pizzas. It's hard to put down their garlic bread once you've started eating it, it's very light and crispy and flavorful. It's rare to see a dinner salad come with so much topping it that you can't see the lettuce (a mix of grape tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and sliced bell pepper, red onion, and black olives). The pizzas are also generously topped.The crust is light and crisp. It does get a little soggier as the pizza cools, but it's still firm enough to hold all the toppings. Service is friendly and helpful. A meal here is enjoyable. read more

First off, we called to order for delivery and we were told they don't deliver to our house (which is 7 min down the road) and to order through DoorDash..... Soooo ordered a pizza and they got it wrong--twice. When we called, instead of fixing it at first, they accused us of lying. We literally had to keep the delivery driver there to show him the second incorrect order so he could confirm it back to the restaurant. Completely unprofessional and frustrating. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters--and this wasn't it Hannah...They did end up sending a third pizza which was pretty good but the whole ordeal was like 3 hours of waiting for the right pizza. Other than never ordering pizza from here again, the delivery driver was absolutely great and the fried ravioli were decent! read more

Back in November 2025 I ordered as I do every single week from them. This time when I ordered from them and I took the food home it was disgusting! I called them and they were willing to replace it. I brought the order I had taken home back to them. There was a young girl behind the counter that was so rude and upset I had brought the meal back to them! She had a long black hair and she was swearing at me and screaming at me, and there was no manager on site except for the cook, who told her to take a step back and stop yelling and cursing at me. Well, I contacted the Restaurant three times to have someone call me to explain that this lady had no right screaming and yelling at me and no one has ever gotten back to me. Let me tell you I've been going there for a long time and I'm never stepping foot in that place again and how rude for them not to reach out to me I had left my number with them three times! All I can say its probably the owner's daughter but I cannot be sure of that and they're gonna lose a lot of customers if they keep her, she's a rude person. This is where we always get our pizza. We love the New York style. Toppings are generous with just enough marinara- not too little, not too much. Wings are good, too. Staff is always friendly and helpful. That said, not so keen on the dinner entrees. I ordered the eggplant parm for takeout tonight and to say it was disappointing is to put it mildly. The dish itself looked delicious, but the first bite proved differently. The eggplant crust was soggy, to the point of almost being waterlogged. The eggplant was slimy, chewy and undercooked. I wondered if the eggplant was used without first salting and draining it- a novice mistake. Pretty much a waste of money. Inedible. Subs are good BUT the fresh baked bread is cut ( and maybe baked as) really thin so the top of the sub is so thin you are basically just eating the condiments and meat and bread on the bottom. People want to bite into an evenly cut sandwich, how hard it's that? I wish they would be more consistent ( when they have so many diff people making them). Also, the front staff need to smile and say hello more- what a rough bunch- we are the customers- hello!!!! I only recently discovered Pizza Time last week, although we've lived in the area for years. Our loss! My mom and I tried it because I read an online recommendation of their gluten free pizza. When I checked out their website, I was happy to see a full menu of options in a sit-down setting (in addition to busy take out traffic), perfect for my elderly mom. We were so pleased! My GF pizza was delicious...a slightly thicker, tasty, crustier crust than some GF versions, and ample toppings. I loved the chunklets of Italian sausage and the generous amount of chopped, fresh mushrooms on my pizza. (I don't know about full GF safety or cross-contamination, however.) My mom always goes for home-made lasagna, and she gave theirs a solid thumbs up. Meaty and cheesy, but not mushy or runny. She raved over the garlic bread (and she often skips bread and rolls). Our waitress was very efficient and friendly, keeping up with several parties of customers yet always attentive. My mom is looking forward to going back. We take her shopping at the nearby Hannaford, so we're thinking of lunch plus shopping trips for her. read more

My family goes to this restaurant whenever we are up visiting with my mother and father and I must say it is simply amazing. Their Pizza is absolutely delicious they have fried mushrooms that are out of this world. I have not tried anything so far that I have disliked and I must say that it has been a pleasurable experience every time I've went there. I've been greeted with a smile every time and I have been greeted with friendly staff that knew the menu and that were able to help me with any questions that I may have had with certain type of menu items and made my experience pleasant there. They also offer great delivery options and they offer takeout as well from Stromboli to stubbs to Pizza I have not had anything bad from them I definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like a great experience with just some time out away from the monotony of the world just to sit down and have some good food. Unfortunately, This place has been on a suspended nose dive for the last 6 or 7 months and I have forgiven A LOT of sloppy, avoidable mistakes because it was our favorite pizza place..... I had a bug and something slimy in my antipasto salad that was mostly peppers... And this is the second pizza that we've gotten with whatever nasty cheese they started using. Tried Wings and Stromboli, the Stromboli was undercooked, the dough was raw, however after that both had good taste.

Our post concert ritual is to have pizza ready in our hotel room. I go to SPAC for DMB every year and this year we tried Gennaros for the post concert pizza and the pregame subs to eat in the parking lot. No suspense - it was really good. I asked them to wrap the sandwiches pretty specifically and they did great a few hours later. After being in the fridge after the cooler - they were still fine. Thank you again to whoever did that so well. I ordered a pizza, half pepperoni and half spinach/mushroom. The veg side was really good - not soggy but still fresh veg. The pepperoni side was great too. Overall the food was very good and a good value. I definitely will go back because the post concert pizza was terrific and they really have excellent customer service and it was not an overpriced mob scene, easy in / out I bet you could order on the way to the park and pick it up. read more

Life saver for pizza delivery in the crest! The pie is pretty good definitely the best option to deliver warm pizza goodness to your door step. I am a pizza purist so plain cheese is my religion. Their 12 cut cheese is gold compared to their 8 cut pies. A hidden gem! We actually stopped in for my son to use the restroom, while visiting a nearby consignment shop and decided to stay for lunch. SO glad we did. We got SO much food for a low price and it was surprisingly delicious, given the low cost. The dining room is a quaint reminder of what I expect the place looked like the day it opened. My wife and I have been here for almost 4 years and suffered from an epidemic of burnt pizza. Apparently Ballston Spa people like their pizza burned and we've had to ask every place we go, to cook it lightly. If you like a sweet sauce, doughy crust and plenty of cheese, this is your place! Subs are on par if not better than Sanders Meat Market and they always use Hellmann's Mayonnaise, which seems to be a lost art. Don't believe the haters... Not a fan. We ordered from here being it was a holiday and our go to place was closed. Very disappointed. The subs where by far the worst I've ever had(including quick stop shop subs). The bread was that giant French bread you get at the grocery store that's only really fresh for about 12 hours then hard as a rock. The sub was made upside down meaning my lettuce,onion( they forgot my tomato even tho I ordered it) on the bottom and meat on top. The lettuce was brown and soggy. They also put pickles unwrapped in the box with the sub so the rock hard,chewy bread is soggy in spots. Chicken tenders where just ok,not very good and not terrible but they don't give you blue cheese with them. The sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks was burnt . The pizza is not awesome but edible at least. The sauce could be better. The subs are big and good - the bread is complimentary to the sandwich and is made on premises. They have few hot slices ready to order and should offer more. Their Buffalo chicken and white broccoli slices are tasty. They don't make regular pies - mainly Sicilian style. They offer specials (pasta, sandwiches, etc) which I have yet to try. The chicken tastes fresh, not frozen, which is often juicy and makes the meal good (pizza/sub). You would think I would have rated this place worse based on my comments. I give this place 4 stars because you can tell they try and sometimes succeed. They don't skimp and their prices are fair.
