Look at the size of this slice!!!
    Mary W.

Decided to check this place out while I was running errands today. I ordered penne Ala vodka to go for my dinner later and decided to grab a slice while I waited..... I ordered two and the size of the slices were huge.... And, might I add, perfect NY pizza! I'd had the pasta once at work and it's scrumptious, not to mention dinner for both tonight and tomorrow! If only it were closer to my apartment But seriously, check it out... their menu is diverse with many different types of pizza. I think I've found the perfect place!

We ordered 2 sets of wings, one cheese pizza and one buffalo chicken pizza. Hard, dry pizza and wings. Will never order from there again.

This is the best pizza around by far!!! We've tried many other pizza places in town and no-one is close.

I feel like there's potential for even more greatness here, and it sounds like they're working on that, so big thumbs up. The open tasting room gives you multiple seating options, inside, outside in nice weather, and at the bar. Today's line-up of drafts included more dark beers and less sours than I would have expected. But there was still something for everyone, and stylized flights were available for $12. Right now, their to-go selection appears to be somewhat limited, so if you see something you like, get it! Their food and food truck situation appears to be in transition right now, but they do a great business on those aromatic and delicious pretzels they serve. Because it's off the beaten path, you have to know to come here, and they already have a steady set of regular customers. It's a great place to get away from the strip malls and crowds to relax for a drink or two.

This was the second occasion of my being invited by someone who was celebrating their birthday there. I'm not a big fan of chicken wings so I also don't consider myself a connoisseur. On this visit there were nine of us celebrating the birthday boy's 65th. I figured I was entitled to seven wings from the six different flavors that were ordered. I was satisfied after tasting just one from each flavor. All the wings were very crispy and the flats were a bit moister than the drums. In fact, my least favorite was a parmesan garlic drumstick. It came with no sauce, so it seemed extra dry. Treating the wings as my appetizer, I ordered The Heater from their Specialty Sandwiches and substituted sweet potato fries for regular fries. Served in a toasted hoagie were shaved Italian steak, sauteed peppers, onions, jalapeños, queso cheese, and melted pepper jack. My first thought was that the hoagie was going to be too massive and too much bread. But to my surprise, the bread was so fresh and soft that it easily compressed around the filling allowing the filling to be the star of each bite. The steak was tender and flavorful, there was not too much spiciness from the various peppers, and there was plenty of moisture. The sandwich was served while still very hot as were the sweet potato fries. Wings and sandwich, all went well with my pint of Guinness. They do not take reservations and will not seat your party until all members of your party are present. They will add you to the waiting list before all of your party is present. Once we were added to the waitlist it was thirty minutes before the rest of our party arrived due to traffic delays. It was then another thirty minutes before we were seated. This was a Tuesday starting about 5:30 p.m. I'd suggest aiming for a weekday after lunch if you have more than four people in a birthday celebration. Staff are well experienced with these situations and are friendly and helpful.

"Taco Tuesday" "prime Rib night" Cons: Menu said the entrees came with bread service, but no bread was received. I was looking forward to the bread, but felt uncomfortable outright asking because the server was being so kind and trying their best. Staffing: It was not too busy, as there were around 5 tables seated and 6 people at the bar. Service speed was slow, but there was good reason for this as they're down one staff member. It was unclear if the kitchen was cranking out room service orders for the Hilton as well since I went on the day of the Belmont. Ambiance: There is a lovely photo-op wall with a neon sign and disco like backdrop! Each table has flowers and a candle and the tables are sturdy. Taste: Enjoyed the food that I ordered and felt the portions were appropriate and well portioned for the pricing. My server, Bruno, he assisted me with a new menu item that they just placed on the menu, the Lemon Chicken. It was tart and the chicken skin was crisp. It being July 4th, Independence Day, I thought it would be an appropriate day to enjoy a hot dog. Just ask Joey Chestnut! I'm not going to reduce my # of *s because we really enjoyed our food and beverages. But I do have to question what I had to drink. The board said it was an Ommegang Grande Tripel stout at 5.5 ABV ($9). That level of ABV would be reasonable for a stout, but the color of the brew was golden like a typical Tripel, and not dark like the typical Stout. The bartender gave us a sample, and it was full of flavor with my wife noticing the vanilla tones that were described by the bartender. I didn't initially identify any specific flavor other than delicious and different than I would have expected from a stout. I also would not take issue with the posted 5.5 ABV. HOWEVER, a quick reference to Ommegang online as I write this says that it is a Belgium Tripel and the ABV is 9. Yes, NINE ABV! I would definitely have noticed if I were drinking a 9 ABV on an empty stomach. I also would have noticed it driving the car after finishing a pint within one hour. For those familiar with Utah Phillips, "It was good though!" But on to the food. We ordered a shareable Tot-Chos ($12.99) consisting of tater tots, tomatoes, avocado, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli. These were very tasty and not too spicy, with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside tots. My wife ordered the Sooo Cali ($10.99) hot dog. The black angus beef hot dog is very tasty even before it is topped with wild arugula, tomato, avocado, crispy onion strings, and spicy basil aioli. The combined flavors work well together on the Kings Hawaiian rolls. My choice was to try the Hogfather ($10.99) - a pork bratwurst with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli, and miso ranch. The bratwurst was delicious and again, the flavors worked well together. BTW, my wife had a Grimm Nothing But Citra ($8), an IPA that even I found acceptable. We really need to return here more frequently.

Bartender was friendly and responsive; we split the chicken bacon avocado sandwich and the bbq pulled pork mac. The chicken sandwich was nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad either. The bun was a simple hamburger bun. The mac n cheese was top tier, came out piping hot and had a good amount of pulled pork and Cole slaw on it. Even between the two of us we had to take some home. Personally I would get regular Mac without the pulled pork next time. I also got a glass of the Italian pino Grigio which was pretty good and reasonably priced. Our meal came with free chips and dip, but we tried to hold out for the main course. I heard their burgers are divine, so I would come back for that and maybe get their home brewed beer. The bartender seemed far more focused on socializing with friends, the hostess, and an off-duty employee than on serving the guests sitting at the bar. At one point, we sat for more than seven minutes with empty drinks at a bar that was nearly empty. Despite making several attempts to get her attention, we weren't acknowledged until another employee noticed us trying to flag her down and stepped in. Even then, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated moment; it was the pattern throughout the evening. Conversations with coworkers & friends consistently took priority over customer service, leaving us feeling ignored despite the bar having very few customers. The food was still very good, but the level of attentiveness and professionalism from the bartender fell well below the standard.
