Since we moved out of Clifton Park in 2016 my quest for a great local pizza place has run its course and left me disappointed. I am looking for a location that sells a good variety of slices, has sit-down tables which you actually want to sit in (no rocking tables and dirty floors for me), and has friendly staff. We recently came here again while in the area and I rediscovered it. It is definitely the best... bar none. They expanded next door into a location previously used by H&R Block, and the increased dining space is wonderful. The variety of slices they had at lunch is staggering, and not just the usual suspects either. They had eggplant lasagna pizza; chicken Fra Diavolo pizza with hot peppers (yum!); mac & cheese pizza with or without Buffalo chicken; salad pizza; etc. All looked good, and my Fra Diavolo pizza has become my favorite here. Of note: their Hawaiian pizza is a white pizza (no sauce), which is extremely unusual, but they provided a cup of sauce on the side which restored balance to the galaxy. I should point out that every Italian restaurant has their own style of red sauce: some are too acidic, some are too salty, some are too heavy with dried herbs, and some don't use enough. This place has a sauce which is similar to my Grandmas (the best!), and it is salty and acidic and oily and delicious. I could see myself parking in a chair one afternoon with a good book and slowly trying slice after slice. Since we live only about 20 minutes away, I think I will need to make the trek up to here more often. read more

Alright... The BEAST has spoken. Let's break this one down honestly. Yesterday for lunch I grab a slice of 2 Coming in hot with a 3.5-star rating, this spot almost hits that elite tier--but there are a few things holding it back from greatness. First off, presentation and crust game? Solid. You're getting a good bake, decent structure, and slices that hold their own. Not floppy, not overly stiff right in that respectable middle lane. That's a win. Now let's talk about the sauce... because this is where things get mixed. Taking a look at some of the chatter on Yelp, there's a noticeable trend and I've got to agree. The sauce is inconsistent. Some bites hit with a nice tang and balance, but others feel either a little too sweet or lacking depth. It doesn't always punch through the cheese like you want it to. For a place trying to compete in the pizza game, sauce consistency is everything--and right now, it's just not elite. Cheese and toppings are good--not mind-blowing, but definitely respectable. Out of the many times I have been here it is amazing. They have very creatively made slices and I can also see they are very efficient. I find this place to be the pinnacle of a successful local pizzeria. The ambiance is also good. Their restaurant section however could use some cleaning on the floor and the food did take a little bit long to arrive, however with their vast menu and busy days I would like to give them another try at the sit-down experience. Decided to check this place out while I was running errands today. I ordered penne Ala vodka to go for my dinner later and decided to grab a slice while I waited..... I ordered two and the size of the slices were huge.... And, might I add, perfect NY pizza! I'd had the pasta once at work and it's scrumptious, not to mention dinner for both tonight and tomorrow! The BEST spot! On the pricier side for entrees, but this is legitimately the best chicken Marsala I've ever had. Pizza is good, but again we go for the entrees! Service is quick, just got takeout. Restaurant recently renovated, haven't sat down yet but it looks very nice! read more

Super disappointed in the size of the lobster rolls for $33 a piece. Ordered two lobster roll meals for my husband and myself and there was barely any lobster meat and the onion rings were plain. Have absolutely no problem spending money on good food. This unfortunately was not worth the money. read more

Friday night is usually our family pizza night and a home movie. Decided to go and check out the new dining area. It was very comfortable, bright and clean. Our family of four ordered 1 small cheese, 1 small pepperoni, mushroom and olive pie, a hot sandwich of sausage,peppers and onions w/fries, and a bowl of vegetable soup. First, both small pizza's were huge! At the end of the meal, we ended up combining the leftover of both pizza's and taking a whole pie home. The hot sausage, pepper and onion sandwich was piled so high with the ingredients, the sandwich couldn't close. The fries came out hot and crunchy, absolutely a well appreciated order. The vegetable soup base was well seasoned, full of seasonal vegetables with a crusty piece of Italian bread, delicious. A couple of Peroni's and we were well stuffed and ready to head home. We had a waitress that was running the dining area-oh, was she good. Kept our beers flowing, friendly, outgoing, personable. Stopped here for a quick lunch with husband after my appointment. The place was pretty busy but we were able to find a table. They have quite a few selections of pizza pies. Hubby and i both got 2 slices each. I must say the pizza were very good. It was very filling i even had to take a slice home. definitely a must stop when in town. read more

Ordered chicken francaise dinner to go. When I got home I opened the bag and saw the chicken and penne noodles was super small portion. Drove back cause I was so unhappy. Lady at the counter said that's the right portion. I tired to take a picture of the food but the lady at the counter took the food away said I could not take a picture of the food. Stick with the pizza. The pizza is consistently very good. Twice I've ordered calzones and both times they were burned both top and bottom. Most of the calzone is bread. The sub we got had stale bread. We will go back for Pizza, because that is always very good, but we won't get anything else three stars out of five read more

The young guys that make the pizza get 5 stars because the margarita pizza is incredible, however, the females behind the counter get negative stars because they are quite rude. I was barked at and given attitude numerous times by two different girls working there. Other customers were treated the same way. That kind of treatment towards customers is not appreciated. It was clear that they were pissed off because it was busy. Being busy does not justify that type of treatment towards loyal, hungry, paying customers. That is bad business. I am a man of principles and despite the good pizza there are plenty of other good pizzerias in the area that I can give my money to. I don't need to be spoken to that way. No respect. read more

This is the best pizza in Clifton Park. After trying several different places, it's not even close. Honestly, it's confusing to me why they don't have more stars, because we haven't had a bad slice yet! The plain pizza has such great flavor, and is so well made, my daughter risked making herself sick to snag a 4th piece at dinner the other night. That fourth pieced went into the freezer, and ended up as much lunch the other day - the hallmark of awesome pizza is that this stuff reheated *really* well! Now, let's talk topping. The pepperoni is good, exactly what you'd expect, but the slice with the banana peppers on it... wow that was good. Their white slices are outstanding and perfectly balanced. Anything we've had with chicken has been really moist, which isn't always the case on pizza. Oh, and it'd be unfair if I didn't mention the garlic knots. Whoah... these are the best I've had, and I've been eating garlic knots for decades. If they're not garlic-infusing their oil, I'd be stunned. The perfect amount of garlic, such soft bread, so delicious, it almost started a fight in our house when there was only one left. The answer: order way more knots next time! This is where I often say, "we'll be back!" in my reviews. Never seen this diamond in the rough but I decided to get a slice of pizza for lunch. The options are amazing and endless. But the one that stuck out the most is the Greek bruccetta pizza and it was THE BEST SLICE OF PIZZA IVE EVER HAD! One slice was more than enough too! Aaaaand back down. Caputo's had a decent run with us, but that just ended hard. Why is it nobody can do consistent pizza delivery in Clifton Park? This time they delivered us pizza rolls (2 were ordered) with a ton of raw dough on the inside, like 2/3's uncooked. I called to complain. The lady told me to put them in the oven at home. If I wanted to turn on the farking oven I wouldn't have order pizza lady. Fail. Plus we had already cut them in half so the cheese went everywhere. Ugh. EDIT: 20 minutes later the pizza rolls still weren't cooked. I think some ham fisted half wit moron made them too thick on the bottom so thy will pretty much never cook. I called back, upset. Caputo's solution was to credit me only for the pizza rolls, and it's only store credit. I am not sure I'll ever even use it. Food- 3 Stars Pizza and other products, when cooked, are good. The do still wish the dough was thinner on the round pies. Ingredients are solid. Service- 1 Star See above whining. Atmosphere- 3 Stars Nice little pizza place in a strip mall. This place is the definition of "Hit or Miss" - we've gotten take out here several times, and at times, it deserves a 4...others, 2 is generous. The hallmark of any restaurant is consistency and this place simply does not deliver on that promise. Last nights order of large pizza with Sausage, olives and artichokes was horribly soggy with the dough done on the outside, but near raw in the topping side - difficult feat considering how thin it is. The mozzarella sticks - served at room temperature - clearly finished a solid 15 minutes before the pizza came out....again, proper service is timing orders and consistent quality. If your claim to fame is pizza - at least do that right.... I know this place is a Clifton Park favorite, but no thanks, with inconsistent food, it's off of the list. Would recommend Clifton Park House of Pizza over this - less artsy menu, and a bit of a hole in the wall, but quality food.... read more

I rarely give negative restaurant reviews, but today's visit will be an exception. First time taking out a pizza from here. the crust was tough as rubber, which made the pie taste terrible. It wasn't the worst pie I've ever eaten, but it came close. The employees were not wearing gloves and the cooks were not wearing Covid masks. Their pricing for this pie was about two dollars more than the same pie from their competition. I won't be returning. read more

This is my new favorite pizza place. The slices are huge and full of toppings. They do not skimp on the toppings unlike lots of other places. There is a huge variety of slices you can walk in and choose from. The pizza toppings are creative and interesting too - not just your typical pepperoni etc. it is honestly hard to choose a slice b cause of all the great options. One slice was definitely enough for lunch. I ordered at the counter and then sat at one of the tables to eat in. The staff brings you your order at your table. The prices are good as well. read more

Food is mediocre and the staff is rude. The grandmother or the older woman that takes your money is very rude.

I will never go to this place ever again. I had a pizza that had very hard crust and tasted terribly like it was made the day before.
