This place was super cute! I went in for lunch and marveled at all the local treats they had. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, which comes with a bag of Cape Cod chips. I got an ice cream sandwich out of their freezer case for dessert. They have a bunch of flavors available. I chose the Key lime pie! The service was polite and the food was good. I decided to pick this place because they had so much to offer on their menu . I also enjoyed how it was farm to table place as well. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade. The Pros: Homemade Freshness was on point Farm to table The Cons: No Bathrooms Only outdoor seating - I was hoping there was some type of seating inside. It was more or so a grab an go type of place. It was a bit expensive Sold out of the Nightgale homemade ice cream sandwichs - but it was listed everywhere that they had them made. The food was delicious but at least had some seating inside and maybe a bathroom outside to use . Since I was traveling far, I was more of so looking for a bathroom to use. read more

My dad saw they were offering beef stroganoff this week and with the craziness of the holidays, not having to cook was already appealing. The portion was more than enough for family sharing - there were three of us and we didn't even finish half the tray. My mom also got the buratta and enjoyed that quite a bit. The flavor of the beef stroganoff was great; creamy, a touch of sweetness from the onions, and very filling! Looking forward to the leftovers for sure! read more

The Neighborhood Kitchen in Milton opened recently on Rowland St. This casual eatery and market is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving a variety of homemade dishes including breakfast sandwiches, light fare, salads, kettle soups, hot dogs, sandwiches with chips, pasta dishes, comfort entrees, sweets, and cooler drinks including Red Bull. The prices are moderate here. I placed an online order for lunch recently via Toast and ordered the Lunch Chicken Saltimbocca ($13 plus tax) and the Lunch Bourbon Meatloaf ($14 plus tax). My food was hot and ready when I arrived 30 minutes later. The lunch portions were just right as I slowly enjoyed both lunch entrees for dinner at my home. The Chicken Saltimbocca had a pan seared chicken breast topped with melted mozzarella cheese, prosciutto over capellini and spinach. The Little Bourbon Meatloaf was soft with good flavors with soft mashed potatoes and spinach. Both dishes were great choices and I would definitely try some other their other offerings here such as their gnocchi bolognese and pan seared salmon. read more

My mom said the short rib ravioli was one of the best things she has eaten in a while. She couldn't stop raving about the cream sauce. I tried it and it was excellent. I had the meatloaf and texturally is firm and dense which I'm not used to but, it's very good. It's very peppery which I love and it compliments the bourbon glaze perfectly. It's off the beaten path from downtown but it's well worth the trip! read more

The food has so much flavor and prepared very well. The short rib ravioli were excellent. The cream so had so much delicious flavor and the short rib filling did as well. The sauce did not overpower the rib filling. The meatloaf was so good, from the meatloaf to the gravy, mash potatoes and then the spinach... everything was delicious. I've also had the eggplant. This is our favorite neighborhood spot for takeout. It's not an eat in spot. Only to go. The specials each week for family size meals is the way to go for feeding our group. The portions are large and the food is delicious. My favorite thing was been the autumn risotto last year. I hope they bring it back because I still think about it. Absolute best takeout in the Ballston Spa / Saratoga Springs area. The food is amazing, the family meals are incredible value, and they are so convenient. Prices are a bit high, spaghetti sauce is a sweet basil with very little garlic or spice, rigatoni is cooked perfectly! Filet involtini was NOT great @ $28, needed salt and maybe some more spice. Service was awesome inside ambiance was new. We retuned for breakfast, on a GF roll the sausage is an Italian sweet NOT breakfast sausage and no choice of link or Patty! Over grilled GF bun. Amazing place top to bottom. Got their Easter special Lamb dish, Ham dish, Maple glazed carrots and deviled eggs. 10/10 taste. Great location. Incredibly friendly people. Prices are very reasonable. Went back last week and got the family tray of Chicken Parm for 40$. Comes with a big container of side salad and bread. Tasted amazing and was a great value. I would include pictures but I ate half the food before I thought of it (both times) and don't want a half eaten plate to represent how good it was. read more

Our Easter dinners today were so good! We had family style pork tenderloin and bourbon maple glazed ham. Everything perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and hot. The mashed potatoes and the roasted sweet potatoe sides were excellent. The crab and avocado appetizers: big piecesof lump crabmeat with ripe, fresh avocado.
