First visit today to try the Gelato after hearing people talk about it. I tried the Chocolate and thought it was ok. They also have many pastries and cakes to choose from as well. I Understand why people seem to like this place.

Late with this review, but Biscotti is the place to go for customized cakes. I emailed them a photo and told them exactly what I wanted for my 35th birthday, and baby... they delivered--from the taste all the way to the look. This cake came out exactly like the reference photo I sent. It was a three-tier cake, vanilla cake with strawberry filling in each layer, and it was absolutely delicious. They didn't have the specific decorations I wanted, so I ordered them on Amazon and brought them in the day before pickup for them to decorate the cake--and they did a great job bringing it all together. I also want to add that this is not my first time getting a cake from here, and every single time they absolutely kill it. Consistency matters, and Biscotti never misses. And let's talk about the mini fruit tarts--because whew. I always treat myself to one (or two) whenever I place a cake order. They are fresh, perfectly balanced, and so good every time. I picked up my cake on a Sunday around midday, and it was super busy, which honestly says a lot. Plus, this is an actual café, not just a bakery. It's a really cool spot to sit, grab a coffee, and get some work done during the week if you need to. The atmosphere is a whole vibe. Overall, amazing cakes, amazing desserts, and consistent quality.

Still love biscotti! They have a wide variety of delicious treats, and it is an inviting place to sit and catch up with a friend or hang out as a family. Love their hot caramel macchiato on a cold day. Today I tried their almond pistachio cheesecake which was as delicious as it was beautiful. My kids love the gelato, and staff was very kind and patient with my son while he decided which flavor he wanted.

First time trying out the actual cafe. I have purchased cakes for special occasions in the past and tried them at Festa Italiana. Such a clean and nice interior with some low top tables and booths. They have a nice variety of pastries, cakes, and cheesecakes as well as some gelato offerings. The goodies taste divine, a lot of care is put into making them. On top of that they are priced so reasonably so you don't break the bank trying out different things. I was promptly greeted and my questions were answered. The server behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Heaven! Would you like $50 worth of pastries for $20? This is the spot! Very kind counter help. Amazing desserts and unbelievably reasonable prices! 11 out of 10! Just go!

I am gobsmacked at how good the lemon chiffon cake was. I want it for every holiday, special occasion, and for my wedding next year! I'm incredibly impressed at how the flavor just melts in my mouth and also devastated that I'm only going to be back in NY this fall. Service was quick and great and the place is very adorable. Highly recommend grabbing cake from here.

Staying in Syracuse for a concert at The Dome over the weekend, I was told to stop by Biscotti's if I was craving a sweet pastry. Needless to say, this was a solid recommendation! A family member and I walked in around 11:30am on a Sunday. There were a few people ordering pastries and a few more sitting at one of their booths enjoying lunch. There were a few cases full of pastries, cookies, cheesecakes, and a separate cooler full of gelato. To be honest, the vastness and variety of treats was overwhelming and we wished they had labels identifying each of the pastries, cookies, etc. They also did not have the prices for the pastries, cookies, cheesecakes, gelato, etc., listed, which was odd. It did take a moment for the staff behind the counter to help us and we felt bad asking so many questions but they did a nice job answering our questions. It seems that they charge by the pound, so we ordered a few pastries and a slice of cheesecake and it came to under $20, so not too bad. For my treats, I went with a sfogliatelle, aka a Lobster Tail, a pasticciotto stuffed with vanilla custard, and a slice of chocolate cannoli cheesecake. Everything was delicious but I think the biggest surprise was the pasticciotto stuffed with vanilla custard! This pastry was jampacked with vanilla custard, just like how the sfogliatelle was stuffed with mascarpone. Everything I had was excellent and worth the price. I am so glad we stopped out to Biscotti's to satisfy my sweet tooth! The food was delicious but I think the customer experience could be better by labeling the pastries, cookies, cheesecakes, etc., and the staff could be a little more attentive. I would not hesitate coming back though and grabbing another treat if/when I pass through Syracuse.

This lobster claw was crazy good! Fluffy, flakey, and just the right amount of sweet.

Biscotti Cafe- what can I say? They're one of my go-tos in Syracuse, which I regularly bring friends to. On the rare occasion when I have a cake craving theirs is what I want- light and beautiful, not too heavy, sweet enough to satisfy. The cannolis are ricotta with a touch of cinnamon in their shells that make them sing. So yummy! The sfogliatelle, aka the lobster tail, is a flakey pastry delight, audible crunch factor and all. The drinks are delicious and if you get them "for here" they're served in nice big clear glass mugs. On my last visit I had a maple latte that a nice balance of sweet, frothy, and coffee. The lunch options are solid The Slow Roaster roast beef wrap in particular has a nice horseradish kick to it. Other things of note: You can buy cake by the slice, whole out of the case, or place a custom order. There are also pies, cookies, and tarts available too. They offer gelato but admittedly I've never had it because I'm there for the baked goods. Parking- there is a small lot to the left of the building and street parking.

Chicken Bruschetta Wrap w homemade potato chips. Made by Julie. Doesn't get better than this.

Solid 5 stars. 6 stars. 7 stars? Yes. Julie at the front counter was the coolest, most professional and most pleasant person. Julie's customer service was sincere. It was not fake in any way. It was a genuine interest in providing helpful service and delicious food. We asked if it was too late for lunch, and she informed us she'd be happy to prepare our late lunch. Julie went to the kitchen in the back to prepare my chicken bruschetta wrap, but she immediately came out to greet the group that walked in while she was making my wrap, and welcomed them and let them know she'd be right with them, and had her coworker come out as she finished my wrap. I've eaten many meals made with love, because my Mom does it all the time. There was no possible way my wrap could've been any better. If you want excellent service and phenomenal meals at very competitive prices, I highly recommend visiting Biscotti cafe. Hopefully you'll catch Julie there.

Ordered a cake for my mom's 80th. Sent a photo, cost was too high. Spoke with Lauren who advised a plan...cake was spectacular! When I picked it up and was concerned about it home, she assured me it would be fine and to call her if it wasn't. She was absolutely right! Cake was perfect and delicious! Thank you!!!

Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The vibe was relaxed and low-key, making it a good place to sit down and get some work done. I spent some time working while I was there and appreciated having a space where I could focus without feeling rushed. The staff was pleasant, and one of the employees was kind enough to take a picture for me when I asked, which I appreciated. The only thing that stood out to me was that there wasn't much of a greeting or acknowledgment when I walked in, but it wasn't a huge issue. The seating was okay. The chair I chose wasn't the most comfortable for an extended stay, but it got the job done. There was also some rock music playing during my visit, which helped create a casual atmosphere. I didn't order any coffee or food this time around, so I can't speak to the menu yet. This visit was more about finding a place to work and unwind for a bit. Would I come back? Yes. While I'm still searching for my go-to coffee lounge in Syracuse, Recess is definitely a spot I'd visit again. It has a chill, unpretentious vibe that makes it easy to settle in and spend some time there. I forgot to take more pictures will do when I go back.

Rather than telling the person handling the phone order that the croissants were already ordered, the cashier just apologetically smiled. It's our first time here (we told the cashier that) and she tried to offer other options, but we weren't looking for cake first thing in the morning. What's weird is that the person handling the phone order was making drinks before and after so I'm not sure if this was an order for a friend or a legitimate customer. The whole thing was disappointing and soured our opinion and experience. Seven employees were working and it still took over 10 mins to get two lattes. When served, our drinks were not hot because the espresso shots had been sitting on the counter cooling off while the milk was steamed and the flavoring added. The interstellar had good flavor but was kid's temp by the time I got it. The honey saffron didn't taste like anything and was slightly warmer, but fell flat flavorwise. Overall, the experience didn't feel particularly high end as the prices would reflect, nor efficient. I'm not sure if I would return.

After finally visiting, I can honestly say the pictures don't do this place justice. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and somehow elevated at the same time. It felt less like a coffee shop and more like hanging out in a friend's beautifully decorated home. I spent a few hours there editing a YouTube video, and it was exactly the type of environment I've been searching for. Since it was my first visit, I wanted to try a few different things. I ordered the strawberry vanilla matcha, which was surprisingly good. It was a little sweeter than I expected, but the flavor was excellent. I'm not usually a matcha girl, but I'd definitely order it again. Their menu is extensive, with several drink options, flavored matchas, pastries, cheesecakes, and even the viral fruit pastries that I saw several customers purchasing while I was there. One thing that really stood out to me was that they actually offer food. I ordered a jerk beef patty and a jumbo apple fritter, both of which were delicious. They also had other savory options available, including spinach pie and additional patties. As someone who arrived hungry, I appreciated having more substantial options than the typical coffee shop pastry selection. The staff were wonderful. They mentioned that they love welcoming new guests, and it definitely showed. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and patient while I stood there trying to decide what I wanted to order. I never felt rushed, and they were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The only thing to keep in mind is parking. Since Milano is located in the heart of downtown Syracuse, you'll most likely need to park on the street. If you're visiting before 6 p.m., be prepared to pay for parking. Overall, I had a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the customer service. I'll definitely be back, and Milano has quickly become one of the strongest contenders in my search for the perfect late-night coffee shop.
