Showed the groomer the style and was asked to text her the picture (which I did). You can see below the picture I sent her (the Brown CavaPoo and the outcome. According to them, the groomer followed the picture. Either they are blind or learned from Trump to deny everything. Again do not trust this place and do not leave your loved one in their hands. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We brought our dog in to be groomed less than 6 weeks ago. We made an appointment a week ago, for today. At the time, i received a text message from the groomer stating "i have looked through the files and can't find her records." I then received a text minutes later, that said "I will check with West End for your vaccines." That was the last message i received from anyone until today. Literally 5 minutes before her appointment, I see a test message from a couple hours earlier stating "we have checked our e-mail to find Sydney's records. we can't find them." NEEDLESS TO SAY...we won't be returning to this groomer. They are UNPROFESSIONAL!! I do NOT feel comfortable handing my dog over to their care!!! How can they LOSE HER RECORDS, being that she was there a few weeks ago????? read more

Edit: Note the lack of denial regarding: (i) crating a dog for almost 11 hours; and (ii) not informing the owner so we can make an educated decision. Just continued lies and misrepresentations ('more down time than usual'). ** When there is one 1-star review, it may just be a jilted a customer. When there are multiple 1-star reviews from different people and over time and across multiple locations (as is the case with this organization), then perhaps there are systemic and problematic issues. We had been patrons of B&B since 2016 - big mistake on our part. They pride themselves on transparency and communication, yet, they did not practice these core tenets, at least in our situation. In our case, B&B told us that our dog was part of a limited play and rotated down-time program. As we found out on our most recent visit at pickup after some questions due to some fuzzy statements by the staff, this really meant that he had sat in a crate for the entire time that he was under their care. The only time he was let out was because an employee was willing take him out on their personal break. For the 11 hours our dog was under B&B supervision on Oct. 30, he was in a crate for 10.5+ of those 11 hours and the 0.5 hours was because someone took him out on their personal time. Meanwhile we had been told he was in a play rotation program. Confined to a crate for 10.5+ hours out of 11 hours is at worst an outright lie relative to what was communicated and an inhumane way of treating an animal, and at best a very liberal definition of limited play and still inhumane. Moreover, B&B refused to discuss questions about prior treatment of our dog or why we were initially told he was being rotated when in reality he was being crated, at least on this last visit, if not more. By misrepresenting their 'care' for our dog, this organization not only stole our business, but more importantly and disappointingly, they stole our right to make an informed decision about how to manage dog care and training as well as knowledge about the welfare of our dog. Shame on us for trusting this organization and not figuring out the truth sooner. There are additional examples where at best, B&B was not performing the service that they represent, and at worst we were being outright lied to. At the end of the day, it appears that some owners have good experiences, but clearly others do not. Dog-owner beware with this organization. If you decide to use them, please make sure to ask all the questions, stay on top of the situation and corroborate statements. Based on our experience, please do not take everything you hear at face value. If you utilize their services, I truly hope you have a very different experience from ours. Took my 2 year old mini Aussie for her first grooming today- was very nervous! The front desk woman and the groomer were both super sweet to her and answered questions for me. Also asked me what I wanted which was great. As my girl was a little nervous, they added on an hour to the cut to get to know her/make her comfortable. I got text updates throughout which eased my mind. When I picked her up, she looked great! She also tried to go back to the groomer which indicated to me how much my girl liked the groomer. This review is in regards to the grooming only. I am so disappointed. Not only was this the most expensive groom we've every gone for, but they essentially shaved our sweet girl and barely left her with any hair! I specifically asked that they keep it long. Yes, she had a lot of knots and some matting that we weren't able to brush out at home (hence a professional groom) but nothing that required how short they went - with some love and attention it was most certainly possibly to give us a reasonable cut (her last groom was only a month ago, to give you a better idea of her state). Overall, none of our requests were honored or listened to. One clear example, I asked that they NOT leave the ears the same length (and they did) and I asked for a puppy cut but they left some weird long hair at only the end of the tail? I supposedly spoke face to face with the groomer herself so I have no idea how there could have been such a big disconnect. Did anyone even look at the extensive form I had filled out? I had also asked that they not shave too far up her belly for the sanitary, they did. Had they been at all up front about what they would do I wouldn't have left her there. I am so beyond upset that I spent nearly $240 on my worst grooming experience to date (and she's gone to several other groomers in the area). Will never be bringing our pup back here. Update - a day later and my dog seems traumatized. She has been crying since coming back. read more

I cannot be more impressed on the service provided at this location. This business has offered their day care services for a month for adopted dogs from the Animal Shelter. The manager Gabrielle and her team are so attentive and remember the names of each dog. they give you reports of your dog and are true dog lovers. I am extremely happy on how the handlers treat the dogs and carefully think about how to group the dogs. They have vet services and can shuttle your dog to the groomers. I have been taking my Chewy since my son gave it to me as a Xmas gift 2015. He was just 3 months old. The staff is very professional, friendly and very cooperative when you call at a last minute. They truly love the dogs and enjoy their work. I kept Chewy for a week while I was o vacation and the treatment he received was great. We were moving to a new apartment after a long drive with our 2 dogs across the country and wanted them to avoid the stress of movers in and out of the apt. I was a little worried they'd be freaked out after the drive, but everyone at B&B was so sweet to them & they ended up having a great time. The booking process was easy and Josh was wonderful to work with, explaining everything I needed to know. I love how they do a short trial time to make sure all of the dogs get alone. Our neighborhood is so lucky to have B&B! It is a complete 180 from the doggy daycare that used to be in its place. They have completely remodeled the space and it's now a bright and airy business, complete with very kind and competent pet professionals. My mini goldendoodle loves spending time at B&B! She drags me in every time we walk by--which is a great sign considering she has also been groomed here and she usually hates being groomed. Gabrielle, Julie and their staff are so loving and helpful. It's a relief to have so much confidence in a place where you leave your fur baby. Ask them for the link to their webcam for added reassurance -- you'll see a lot of cuddles, naps and ball play. read more

Our groomer recently closed so we were looking for somewhere new in the area. We found this biscuits and bath was only 3 blocks from us. We dropped him off on Saturday early afternoon and he was done 2 1/2 hours later. They listened to how I wanted my Shih tzus haircut and he looks absolutely great! Will definitely be coming back for all his future haircuts. This place is slightly more expensive than our previous one but worth it! read more

The team is really great and my dog absolutely love it. Everytime we walk next to the place she gets excited! The only thing that I didn't like is that they don't walk the dogs during the day and let them pee indoor (without wee wee pads!) so my dog started to have accidents at home again. The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Super friendly, professional, and it's clear they all genuinely love dogs. Facilities are incredibly clean. As a self-proclaimed helicopter dog mom, I feel so lucky to have such a great doggy daycare close to my apartment. Whenever I pass by the location on potty walks, my 75lb dogter will punch the door and try to get inside so she can go play with her favorite people and puppers. This place is never on time and has dirty facilities. A few weeks ago I walked in to make an appointment for my dog to be groomed and there was throw up on the floor in the area where they keep the dogs for daycare. It looked as if it had been there for awhile so I pointed it out to the woman behind the desk. She claimed she hadn't noticed and eventually cleaned it up but if she really hadn't noticed that's equally as bad as it was already dry so it shows no one had been looking in on the dogs for at least 30 - 45 minutes. I decided to continue using their grooming services since the dogs are groomed in a separate room that is clean. On the day of my appointment, I got there on time and they told me they were running over 45 minutes late. I did not receive an apology until I asked why they hadn't given me a call to let me know. After one more chance, my experience today was the last straw. I called ahead this time 10 minutes before my appointment and they informed me that they will be running at least 45 minutes behind (again with no apology). I asked why they didn't call me to inform me and the woman's response was "we will put a note in your file to give you a call if we will be running behind." In my opinion, this should be standard. If a business is running 45 minutes behind they should give you a heads up ahead of time. They also had my appointment type wrong so told me I could make another appointment for later in the day if I wanted a haircut and not just a bath for my dog. This place is terribly managed, the grooming service is decent but I've definitely been to better - the groomer took shortcuts. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone (especially not for daycare) read more

I started taking my beagle Carter to Biscuits and Bath in March 2016. I never complained about late drop-offs and pick-ups or overall disorganization. I never complained about my dog coming home not feeling well, or their unreasonable billing practices. But I am very disappointed with the experience I had in August 2017. My dog was picked up using one of their leashes. When my dog walker went to pick him up at the end of the day, he was told that he had to carry the dog all the way home without a leash because they don't have any extra leashes. To even suggest that a customer place their dog in danger by taking them home without a leash is just ridiculous and absolutely unsafe. I will never bring Carter back to Biscuits and Bath simply because the safety and well-being of my dog is clearly not their utmost concern. read more

My dog Mac was the first client of this location. He had been a regular at the Riverside location, and I moved him to this one because they are very close to my home. I have nothing but praise for everyone who works for B&B. Really, they love my dog almost as much as I do. Mac has always had separation anxiety, but he literally pulls me to B&B. He just loves it there. And they're unfailingly wonderful to me too. They're always helpful & supportive. I recently broke my arm, and the B&B van arrived to pick Mac up before the ambulance did! This review is for the dog sitting service only. They have now twice been late for our 11 week old puppy, both times by 2 hours. The first time I can overlook but not twice in the span of 8 days. When I asked for a refund of our prepaid account, the manager was extremely apologetic but I was told no refunds.
