If you like beer, come here. Brewed extremely well, deep in flavor and surprisingly high alcohol content for something so sweet.

Our server was quick and efficient. The Lobster Salad Rolls were very tasty and came with very good Fries. We didn't find the lunch inexpensive, but the good food and location made our stop worthwhile.

I'm attaching a photo of the menu from Sunday May 26, 2025 and here are some entree examples: - Braised short rib $58 - Grilled swordfish $53 - Seared tuna $55 - Scallops over lobster risotto $74 I'm very familiar with the cost of high quality ingredients and labor but these prices are ridiculous... especially when you consider it's a casual setting (paper napkins, no tablecloth, big open, loud bar area, etc.). Beach Road restaurant (also on Martha's Vineyard) has similar quality food (maybe better), better service and much nicer ambiance/setting and is at least 10% less expensive. It will be interesting to see if Red Cat management responds to this review and tries to defend their prices. Good luck doing so because there is no reasonable defense.

This place has a little bit of everything, but there are two things you can't leave without trying. First, the fried shrimp. I know, it sounds basic, but these are on another level. Lightly battered, seasoned just right, and cooked perfectly -- no heavy breading to hide the flavor, just clean, fresh shrimp done right. Second, head downstairs to their outdoor bar, Donovan's Reef, and get yourself a Dirty Banana. Think of it as a Mudslide's cooler, smoother cousin. Donovan himself makes every drink, and if you're like me and don't want your cocktail overpowered by alcohol, this is the perfect balance -- sweet, smooth, and dangerously easy to sip. Nancy's is usually one of my first stops when I hit the island, and for good reason. Simple, fresh, and consistent. Verdict: Island staple, no debate. I eat, I judge. The fork stops with me -- your feelings aren't on the menu.
