The food here is very good! It's truly a diner style eating and ordering. You will have a bit of a wait (15-20 minutes), but the service is fast. It's recommended you review the menu as you wait, so you can order quickly. That helps them stay efficient with the waiting time. They offer brunch cocktails but not the best mix. There is not a bathroom within the restaurant. You have to ask for the key and go in the hallway. The parking is also limited, so it's best to grab parking where you find it, and walk over. The best for me were the home fries. I added peppers and tomatoes. They will accommodate substitutions and add ons for an up charge.

Friendly, fast, and reasonable for EDG. Get the whipped cream and real maple syrup. Just do it.

Hubby and I ate here early am before our flight back home. You might miss if you are entering from main, you have to walk through the cinema all the way to the back. Upon opening the door you are instantly transported to a 1950s diner. Oldies were playing and every inch of the wall is donned with diner memorabilia. I ordered the Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was amazing. Crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. My husband got the Philly omelette w/ skillet potatoes and homemade biscuits. He finished everything, even the potatoes. Plot twist....he doesn't like potatoes. I think that says it all, enter freely they've been approved

So welcoming. We had breakfast here every day. Must have- cornbread, chicken waffles, shrimp & grits, and Southern Bennies! Service is the best!

Cute small diner was busy. Food was tasty. Came out quickly. Real diner feel. Servers fast and friendly. Great stop for reasonably priced breakfast.

Stopped here for lunch while in Edgartown with my son. We needed a break from seafood so we were happy with the diner. My son ordered a burger and I ordered the corn beef breakfast. I got a corn bread with my breakfast instead of biscuit or toast. The corn bread was the best part of my food. Slightly sweet and toasty. I could eat it everyday. We both enjoyed our food. The diner inside is adorable. I loved the decorations. I felt like I was actually in a 50's diner. Our waitress was nice. Highly recommend for a meal in edgartown if you need a seafood break!

Really nice little diner. The food is really solid. We got the All American with eggs (perfectly) poached and the banana bread French toast. This unique twist on the classic recipe is awesome! Service, like everywhere we'd been on the island, was great and the people are super friendly. Maybe the "bad service" reviews of restaurants come at the height of summer when there are 900 gazillion people here. We didn't experience that anywhere and Edgartown Diner is no exception. The only reason we didn't go back is just because we wanted to try different breakfast places. Go. You'll love it!!

    Pastrami Burger and Farmers Omelette

Went for brunch and got a Pastrami Burger and the Farmers Omelette. The burger was juicy and was a unique combination with the pastrami that worked well. The omelette was good but the home fries that came with it were just unseasoned potatoes with some of them being not fully cooked through. The waiter was super nice and it had an old school diner vibe which was cool but other then that there was nothing super special that made it stand out.

Great food, great service! It felt like an old school diner. We will definitely be back there if we make it back to Martha's Vineyard.

Took 40 minutes to get our food. Pancakes were dry. Staff was aloof. Prices were ok. I know this is a landmark but not good.

Food was amazing I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the haddock. Food tasted amazing. Serving sizes are worth the price I was stuffed. We started with bread fyi you pay for the bread. Something we didn't know. Bread was worth it, would have liked more transparency there. Drinks are great. I forgot the name of the cocktail I ordered but shoutout the bartender. We also got a free champagne toast for our anniversary which was greatly appreciated. I would 10/10 recommend this place if you're in town.

This time we went with friends, which meant I got to sample a little bit of everything -- the short ribs, wok-fried lobster, and a massive slice of carrot cake that took me two days to finish at home. We also enjoy getting dressed up to come here since they've got the white tablecloths my wife looks for when she's sipping her drink -- so don't show up straight from the beach in flip-flops and a tee. The vibe is always relaxed but elevated, the food and drinks are on point, and the service never misses. That's why we keep coming back.

For lunch our crew ordered the veggie cake Benedict, Vineyard Benedict, veggie breakfast sandwich, cod cakes, grilled cheese and yogurt granola bowl. There wasn't a single item we wouldn't order again. They also had one of the crispiest cokes I have ever had the delight to taste. I have tried the yogurt granola bowls at lots of spots on Martha's Vineyard and this one was by far my favorite. My friend that ordered the lobster roll said it was outstanding and we all loved how crispy the bread/English muffins were. I loved Lucky Hank's and can't wait to come back for lunch and to try their dinner menu!

I went with their cod cakes and eggs, served up with lobster sauce, two fried-over-easy eggs, home fries, and multigrain toast. First time ever having cod cakes, and they didn't disappoint -- light, well-seasoned, and surprisingly addictive. The lobster sauce gave it that extra richness without overpowering the dish. The home fries were crisp without being greasy, and the multigrain toast rounded it out nicely. This wasn't just a solid breakfast -- it's one I'll be adding to my own kitchen playbook. In fact, I'll be trying to whip this up for my wife when we get back home. Verdict: A strong bite, definitely worth the stop if you're on the Vineyard. I eat, I judge. The fork stops with me -- your feelings aren't on the menu.
