I was told that waiting in a long line in this parking lot for an apple fritter is an essential experience to have while visiting Oaks Bluff. I'll admit I was skeptical at first l, but definitely understood by the end. The apple fritter is huge and it was really something special. It's freshly baked with each order, so it comes out piping hot, and you have to eat it in the parking lot while it's still hot for the full effect.

Love this spot! Definitely worth the wait. I got there just before 7 pm and there was already a line. If you don't want to wait, feel free to order via the QR code in the back and pick up the donuts in the front The weekends in the morning, it can get a bit hectic with long lines so plan accordingly

Some awesome donuts. Definitely hit the spot after I got off the ferry and had some time before my first tour. Donuts are smaller than others I've had, but prices are still comparable. Had a plain and honey dipped. Plan for a long but fast-moving line.

Unfortunately the apple fritter is worth the hype AND the line. Line moves fairly quick and the fritter is HUGE, crispy and warm. Best Ive ever had but I'm no connoisseur of fritters so take that as you will. Old fashioned donut was fine, not dry just lacking a bit of flavor. Honestly if they ONLY served fritters it'd be a 5/5 but because the rest of the donuts are just meh- 4/5. Next time i'll just get 2 fritters and be full for the whole weekend!!

Heard such great things about these donuts, and I would say my chocolate glazed one was pretty good but more cakey than fluffy. Recommend stopping by if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to wait in a long line for them. Their online ordering system was also down unfortunately.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yessssssss! My favorite go to donuts is apple fritters and boston creme. Food/dessert is great and fresh. Service is fast while the summer hasn't really hit yet. And the ambiance sets off a nice vibe where you can chat n wait for your order. The hours just makes sense in the evening!

Came here recently to try out. Grabbed a couple of donuts. Wasn't to impressed. Customer service was friendly however.

Most insane Apple fritter the size of your head!! Was sooo delicious and warm and fresh and had fresh apples in it as well. So good I want more! They have tons of other don't flavors I would love to try another day. The service was quick even though there was a long line. Definitely worth it! There's plenty of public seating outside with benches and tables which makes this area perfect!

The fritter is tasty and huge. Definitely big enough to share.

The fritter is yummy and huge. It's not the best I've ever had. That distinction goes to Ralph's Donuts in Cookeville, TN. But this fritter is very very good, especially when warm - easily the second best I've ever had. Also, it's great that you can get it late. The back door opens at 7pm, and I think stays open until midnight. The donuts we found really underwhelming. Maybe it's all the hype this place gets that made our expectations too high. They're just donuts - and kind of dry at that. Get the fritter, though. It's tasty.

Walked here for a late night donut craving. Luckily the line was short but they were out several of the most popular flavors, although they still had apple fritters. This spot is literally operated out of the back door of the business, inside of the parking lot. It's nothing fancy but it's definitely a cool vibe and a novel idea. Flavors we tried: Honey dipped, cinnamon, buttermilk and the infamous apple fritter. The honey dipped tasted like a regular glazed donut - nothing unique. The cinnamon was good, and so was the buttermilk. The apple fritter received good reviews. I plan to return to try other flavors. Overall everything was good and I recommend this place.

The apple fritter. I think this might have been the best donut that I have ever eaten (and I have eaten a lot of donuts)!! There was little to no wait. It was served warm, crispy caramelized outside and a soft inside. Fresh chunks of apples. I can't stop thinking about this.

Not that this place needs more hype but I couldn't help myself. I went back twice in one trip…read morebecause the breakfast sandwiches were that good. There was a line but it moved pretty quickly and efficiently. Staff was friendly. I also loved the ambiance inside. Was very light & airy but cozy. The coffee was great too! I had an iced latte with sugar free vanilla. Now onto the sandwiches. The first day, I kept it basic with a sausage, egg & cheese. The sourdough bread was incredible and made the sandwich. On day 2 I decided to get the bb sandy which had bacon, egg, cheese, tomato, & sriracha aioli. Okay, this one was incredible!!! Not that the SEC wasn't good, it just wasn't as special. I didn't get a picture of the bb sandy but just trust me. It was perfect. Last note on the sandwiches: they are HUGE. The first day I ate the whole thing and was full for a very long time. The second day I ate half for breakfast & the second half for lunch. It was perfectly proportioned for two meals for me.

This spot is super popular and super BUSY!…read more Excellent location, in the heart of Nantucket surrounded by numerous local shops and boutiques. It was just a few doors from my hotel, and I came here a lot! Absolutely love the vibes!! Casual, yet nice. It was my go-to to chill in the mornings and early afternoons. Great place to grab pastries, sandwiches, etc. Only downside is that there aren't a lot of tables, and the place easily fills up, but they do have takeout. Their sandwiches are especially good because of their sourdough bread! I also like their cowboy cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies (even tho I'm not typically a fan of oatmeal raisin), and pumpkin muffins. I wouldn't recommend their croissants (lacked flakiness) tho.
