Some of the frozen stuff they sell here are stale. They have no return policy. My experience here is horrible.

Each plate came with rice, hummus, bread, and a tomato-cucumber-green pepper-onion salad. The lamb ribs were fall-off-the-bone soft and some of the best lamb you'll ever have anywhere period. Everything was fresh and we'll be back. Mohamed is such a kind and down-to-earth man. If you've never been, give Tripoli a try!

Well, now I know and this is where I'll be spending my money getting fresh cuts of meat for my family. I wanted rib eyes and I'd been checking the prices of several retailers. I checked that farmer's market, Publix and last I called Tripoli. Tripoli has the lowest prices so that's where I went. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the little lady behind the counter. I asked for rib eyes but the owner Mahmoud Mohammed said that he'd be happy to process some for me as they were fresh out. I agreed. He was so polite and accommodating I looked around while I waited which was only 5-10 minutes. I also bought some roast turkey and turkey ham which I haven't been able to get anywhere here in Atlanta. My teenage son even took his face out of his phone and picked out some kabobs to make later. I called my mother as soon as I got home and told her about my great experience and she said she'll go check it out too. If you're looking for a fresh clean meat market with a great selection, check out Tripoli Halal Meat Market. FYI: In case you're unaware, there is no pork so you won't find any there but if you're looking for a Halal or even a clean orderly meat market with great prices go visit Tripoli Halal Meat Market in Marietta Georgia. He takes all forms of payment so swing by there. I recorded Mahmoud processing my rib eyes and the other things available to buy so go shop there! *I took great videos of my time there but uploading here is a nightmare.

And the rules can be a hassle if you are not planning ahead. It's all entirely true. BUT... Good lord is the meat good. The man knows his trade. His sourcing is top notch, and once you make it inside the store, he is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about how to store, prepare, and cook every product he sells. I can only afford it every once in a while, but if I need an absolute slam-dunk for a special occasion, I always hit up Mitch. His manager lady (I'm sorry I don't recall your name!) is incredibly nice and helpful, making suggestions and giving tips. The business has its quirks, and if you don't like the rules or the prices, it's best you go somewhere else. But if you're in need of one of the best pieces of meat you've ever had, suck it up and go see Mitch. Call ahead and you're golden.

We seared ours in a cast-iron skillet and use the juice to top the mashed potatoes we made as well as seared broccolini on the side. These two pieces were honestly large and we ended up having leftovers to sear up for dinner another day as well. I will certainly be coming back again for a special occasion dinner! However, most of the servers were ignoring us not because they were serving other tables, but because they were watching the football game. I'd like to point out that we were not rude to anybody or any of the staff during this visit. I just think you guys should take accountability of your actions here. As for the cards that we receive after the meal, it is very confusing because one side is green. That states you were still eating and the other side is red that states you are done eating. Most Brazilian churrasco gives it to us at the Beginning of the meal. Which I would've preferred so they didn't clear our table while we were still eating. The servers also Carry around an iPad and they can see which tables are available. What I am assuming happened is nobody checked in our table, which is why it looked like it was available when we walked off to get our second plate. We also ended up paying at the counter instead of our table because like I said the servers kept ignoring us. When we did eventually flag one down, they acted like they could not to speak English and walked away. This was actually a few of the servers so yes, of course we're going to think that they don't speak English. Accountability is all I'm asking for when it comes to service. The people serving the food at the barbecue and the buffet were amazing. The only person that apologized to us was the host guy, when he gave us another table.
