I wanted to like Mitch's Meats and Fish, but the experience was just too frustrating to ignore. First, there are so many strange, confusing rules posted everywhere--honestly, you'd need a compass and a decoder ring just to figure out how to shop there. And once you've deciphered everything? Get ready to wait outside, regardless of how bad the weather is. Rain, snow, blazing sun--it doesn't matter. They only allow *one* person inside at a time. And heaven forbid you accidentally miss a step in their rulebook--they'll scold you like you're a kid in trouble. Shopping here shouldn't feel like an obstacle course. Great food or not, the vibe is just too off-putting to make it worth it. I would give 0/5 stars if that was an option. Also - Can't wait for Mitch to comment to call me an internet Cowboy.......

I know we can't go out to eat, but if you're a steak lover, you can always buy these gorgeous cuts from @mitchs_meats_and_fish I sometimes like to treat myself with a fancy dinner and I'm sure most of you out there do too! The front cut is their Japanese Waygu cut: $69.99/lb The other one is the Australian Wagyu cut: $59.99/lb I can tell you that the price is absolutely worth the taste. It literally melts like butter in your mouth. Believe it or not, it just took me to another world after taking the first bite. Mitch and his staff are all very friendly, and he also gives you a box of the beef fat to cook the steak in for free if you ask. I'll definitely go back when I get my next steak cravings!

You want the best, then look no further. His products and knowledge never disappoint. I love his rules of engagement. It's his business, and it runs like a well-oiled machine. Pre-ordering is the way to go once you understand his inventory. Mitch even provides his personal number for "meat emergencies," which i have used in the past. I even send him pictures of my prepared steaks as i am so pleased with the results. My favorites are the cowboy cut bone in ribeye, filet, pork chops, and chicken breasts. Mitch is a Roswell treasure. He treats every customer as they are very important to him. Also I love the ambiance of the shop. Keep it up, Mitch, and thank you.

We had our first experience at Mitch's today, and I'm completely obsessed! First of all, from the first second being greeted by Bill and Starr I could tell this was a special place. They made us feel like VIPs/family immediately! Next came Mitch with his expertise and passion, and last but not least, THE MEAT! Mitch is like Meat Santa! The selection and quality are unparalleled, and I'm worried that I'm ruined for grocery store steak forever. Go there! You won't regret it!

I'd been looking for a butcher shop nearby & went here because of reviews. The shop is in a strip mall & is pretty small inside, like 10 people would crowd this place to capacity. The staff are helpful & friendly but it's a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what you want while they're explaining it all. I only got a few things because I was feeling kinda anxious with all the people in there. We got 2 types of bacon to try(1 lbs total), some kind of wagyu blended burger(1 lbs) and a rack of ribs(2 lbs) for ~$53 This place is way more expensive than anything you'll find at grocery stores but it's supposed to be a higher quality. It looks pretty, at least. They serve lunch until 2p some days, so maybe we'll get to try that another time. They have bowls of candy sitting around but I'm not sure if they're for sale or not. They also sell bread, butter, a tiny amount of dessert, wagyu jerky at $50/lbs. Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. Hard to determine how much it'll cost before you pay, like some items have the weight written & you can calculate with your phone or in your head & some items have nothing so you guess the weight. I couldn't find the price for scallops anywhere, though, not even on the seafood case. They have seasoning for sale but I didn't want to dawdle so I didn't look through it. Maybe next time, I'll get a better chance to just browse.

Ask the Community - Mitch's Meats & Fish

Does anyone know if Mitch's sells black pudding, also known to some as "blood sausage" or"blutwurst"?

I didn't think so. I didn't see it when I was there. You could probably call them to check, though.

Beef Grill focuses on the traditional Brazilian churrasco concept -- grilled meats carved fresh and served alongside a buffet of sides. The highlight here is the wide variety of meats. Diners can expect everything from tender beef cuts and seasoned chicken to juicy pork and flavorful lamb, all grilled to bring out smoky, savory flavors. One surprise favorite is the grilled pineapple, which adds a sweet, caramelized break between all the protein. The restaurant operates buffet-style and all-you-can-eat, which makes it easy to sample a little of everything. At around $25 per person, the pricing is very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. The meats were well-seasoned, fresh, and consistently tasty, making it easy to go back for seconds (or thirds). Another standout was the staff, who were friendly and welcoming. Even during busy periods, the team kept things moving and maintained a good vibe throughout the restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and casual, making it a great place for anyone craving a hearty meal. That said, there are a couple things to keep in mind. The dining area is fairly small, so waits are common. Even after the typical lunch rush, we still waited about 30 minutes to get seated. On top of that, parking is limited, which can add a little extra time before you even get inside. Pros Wide variety of grilled beef, chicken, pork, and lamb Delicious grilled pineapple and sides Friendly, welcoming staff All-you-can-eat buffet style Reasonable price (about $25 per person) Great atmosphere Cons Small dining area Limited parking Wait times can reach 30 minutes or more Final Verdict Despite the tight space and parking challenges, Beef Grill is absolutely worth the visit. The quality and variety of grilled meats, combined with reasonable pricing and a fun atmosphere, make it one of the better Brazilian grill options around. In the end, the juice is definitely worth the squeeze -- and it's a place I would absolutely recommend.

I would drive to ATL just to eat here, and that's saying something because I don't like driving to ATL. Everyone was so lovely & welcoming. After our time there, they felt like good friends I'm looking forward to visiting again. This woman-owned business had a continuous stream of customers the entire time we were there. You can do all-you-can-eat or weigh & pay. It's all an excellent value. My friends & I had no complaints. There's free parking in the lot. We went on a Friday night around 6pm. It wasn't busy but it started to pick up around 7pm. The restaurant is on the smaller side but still plenty of seating. There was only one server and she was the sweetest. She took the time to explain everything when we told her it was our first time. They offer a salad bar and a meat section. Everything at the salad bar was fresh and flavorful. The meats were well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. The picanha was my favorite - tender, juicy, and flavorful. At $25/person it's a great deal for the quality and variety you get. Definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely come back.
