I went there couple times with my friends and family because I love steak. It was kind of ok, but the guys who serve meat, they were keep asking and force to the customer to give them a tip. If we don't give them a good amount of tip although we gave them they were very rude. The quality of meat they gave us was awful. The venue is large with plenty of tables, though they are packed too close together for my taste--meaning that whenever you get up to grab more food, you likely have to dodge them. The food was just okay; the side dishes lacked flavor and weren't hot enough. The star of the show is the meat, but it was very, very salty and cold, and you practically have to beg to get served. Finally, I didn't try the desserts because nothing caught my eye. I've worked in the culinary industry for 20 years, and I know that the early days of a restaurant are a time for learning and making adjustments. We celebrated my son's 21st birthday here this evening. There was a nice selection of grilled meats and a buffet. The buffet had rice, beans, yuca, pork ribs, stewed vegetables, cheese bread, plantains, and more. There was also a salad bar. We all perhaps ate a bit too much but had a wonderful meal. This is the Picanha aka best steak in the house. It was tender and delicious. The staff was helpful and gave us the lay of the land. Great food. The meats are good especially the picana. The cheese bread was so good and all the sides were great. I saw others comment on how they were treated differently if they weren't Brazilian and my family (half Asian half white) didn't feel that way. The staff all have flags on their name tags to show what language they speak. Some of them only have Spanish but it's still possible to communicate in English. We've been there twice and both times really good. The second time we went was during a Brazil football game and it was very rowdy! It was a fun atmosphere but if you're looking for a quieter dining experience check the Brazil team football schedule first lol. read more

I came here a few Fridays ago for my friend's birthday party. This place is basically a more afforable version of Fogo de Chaú. It gets pretty packed fast and is great for large groups. Once seated and you get your drink order, you go to the middle island and get your plate and utensils. You wait in the meat line and you tell them which meat you want them to cut on your plate from the menu provided. Since this is a "buffet" it is all you can eat when it comes to the meat and other side items provided on the hot bars next to the meat area. The reason why I give my review 4 stars is because despite this being a buffet, the dessert is not part of the buffet. The desserts are all seperate prices... I don't agree with that because if this is a buffet, there should be a dessert section part of the price. To have the entire dessert section seperate prices kinda takes away from the buffet experience. Im sure most people wouldn't mind paying the prices for the various desserts, but I do mind, and my group minded... Kinda sucks I gotta go somewhere else for dessert. The place is huge and almost feels like a cafeteria so perfect for large groups and families. Service is quick and they keep everything very clean. Very efficient with clearing up your plates and refills. The buffet has salad options and some hot items but the star is obviously the meats. Everything is cooked by in a large rotisserie grill with lots of cuts of meats rotating on spit rods. You can specify what temp you want and they can find that for you. I also love that they have innards like chicken heart. Everything is simply seasoned with salt and it's delicious. Also very affordable at $25 for everything compared to $63 at FOGO for dinner so if you don't need the FOGO ambiance than I would definitely come here to get the meat sweats. read more

I had heard so many good things about this place, so I had high hopes but I was extremely disappointed. I like my meats medium rare and ALL the meat I got were WAY over cooked. I could even tolerate medium, but every cut I got was medium well or well done and there were a few pieces that were so dry I couldn't even eat it. I tried asking for medium rare and they would bring out a piece that was clearly NOT that and when I asked for something rarer they said they didn't have it. Like what sort of steakhouse has meat that's that overcooked?!? The selection itself was pretty good but I really couldn't enjoy it because every piece I got was overcooked. Not only that but the Brazilian cheese bread was terrible. It was hard as a rock and super dense. Costco's frozen cheese bread is 10x more delicious. Their mashed potatoes also had more cheese than actual potatoes. I don't know, maybe they were having a bad day or something or they're scared of serving undercooked meat, but I definitely will not be coming here again. My daughter and I went on a little road trip to check out the Georgia Aquarium. While in town we were looking for a good place to eat and I decided we should try a Brazillian Steakhouse. All of the big names were super far away but Yelp led me to Rio and I am so glad. This place is awesome. This is the setup here. You find a table and a waiter comes by and takes your drink order. If you want the meats, there are no gauchos roaming looking for a green or red card. Instead, you walk up to the bar and tell the guy behind the counter what you want. They have all of the typical Brazillian Steakhouse fare. Get picanha and you won't be disappointed. Get the garlic picanha and you will be in meat heaven. There is also a bar for all the sides one would expect. Do not expect the super baller fancy pants bar like the big guys. Expect great sides that you serve yourself. But really, the sides are a distraction. Get the meat sweats. You won't regret it. In addition to great food, the prices are super reasonable. If you are a boujee person who needs a bunch of dudes roaming looking to give you meat, this is not the place for you. If you are a fan of Brazilian food, this is the place for you. Im so excited to have found a Brazilian buffet style eatery similar to what I have back up north, especially since this an ALL YOU CAN EAT. The buffet isn't super extensive but the options are versatile with some Brazilian staples like feijoada and salpico. There's various types of meats but I think the must try's are the picanha, the pork ribs, chicken hearts, and definitely the pineapple. The staff is very friendly and will help assist you on how the restaurant works in case you're unfamiliar. This place is awesome for groups and solo diners. If you're somehow not filled to the point you want to take a nap, there's beautiful pastries and deserts on display from slices of cake to brigadeiros. I was told by the staff they even import their açaí from Brazil, it's not the smoothie bowls you get from the gentrified places. We arrived at 8:30 on a Friday night with a busy crowd. For a buffet, this should mean that many cuts of meat and doneness are on a rotation for the customers. Food 3/5: They only had medium rare at best. The picanha was regular. The picanha garlic was cooked well done. We were served meats that were hard and well done. By 9:30 they SHUT DOWN the entire grill, even though the business hours states that they were closed at 11. They honestly did not have many different cuts of meat. For pork belly, we got a slab of fat. Their competitor, Beef Grill has more cuts and level of doneness. Service 2/5: Terrible. The people serving the meat simply won't even ask you for what level of doneness because they know they stopped putting more meat on the grill past 9 pm. Server comes to the table later on complaining why we weren't eating our meats. We had burnt meats and well done steak that's hard as a rubber sandal. If you go here ARRIVE AT 8 the latest so you have 1.5 hours to eat until 9:30 when they shut down the grill even though it closes at 11pm. read more

There is a Brazilian guy behind me, also a white family behind me. Astonishing enough the Brazilian worker walks up to the Brazilian guy and takes care of him.
