Bissett Plumbing was contracted through my home warranty company for a leaking sink. The request was put in late Friday afternoon. I expected a call sometime on Monday, but nothing. I called them on Monday and was told they would give the workers my information when they return to the office. I called back on Wednesday and was told the same thing. I called my warranty company to inform them of the situation, and they canceled the service request, only to reassign it back to them. I demanded that it be cancelled, or they could cancel the warranty altogether. Although Bissett Plumbing has not done any work for me, they have been very unprofessional. Reading through the other reviews, it sounds like they are repeat offenders. Beware!!!! read more

Bissett was called by our home warranty company for a leaking water heater. The tank was replaced in a week and works fine. The only complaint is that, since our water heater is in the attic, we were charged for a lift but the lift was not used. We requested a refund for that expense but it's been ignored so far. But as for their work no complaints. Recommend them. read more

Absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with for anything in my life. My home warranty company sent them out. The guy complains he has to use a ladder to get to my AC unit then guesses at the part. Tells me it would be 3 days to get in. Now THREE MONTHS later still nothing first it was "shipping delays" then it was "back ordered" then "the hurricane".... always an excuse. They won't call back they won't text back nothing. I was able to get a lady on the phone once but she wouldn't shut up and let me talk, extremely rude. My crazy home warranty company can't get anything from them either. Finally canceled and got a new company to come out. read more

Assigned through home warranty company. Did not contact me, I waited three days and contacted them. Couldn't come out for several more days and then walked around for a few minutes and said he couldn't get into it for another week. Complete waste of time and money. We fixed it ourself within a few hours. Lesson learned. read more

They came to our house through our insurance to check things out. He didn't even come inside to look at the inside where the motor is constantly running and the bypass that was put in. Instead he was blaming us for cancelling an order for a lady with cancer who will probably die because some pregnant ladies air conditioning is acting up. Ridiculous! The motor runs 24/7 so I am hoping this won't affect our power bill. Was not impressed. read more

if I could give 0 stars I would. American Home Shield sent them first to my house, then to my moms. I will NEVER allow them again. They were sent to my home to fix an AC issue. After they "fixed" it we had water running down our ceiling. Then they came back. They assured us that this was a different issue. They "fixed" it. But now we had water coming from a small spout right in front of our garage door. My son, who is in training, went upstairs to check what was done. Turns out instead of blowing out the stopped up drain they redirected it to an auxiliary drain. A trainee knew better how to fix the problem than these "Professionals". They went to my moms to "fix" her sink. They said they had to order a part. It took months to get them to "fix" it. They then said it needed to be replaced but told me to get the payout from AHS and they they would put it in "for a cost". Needless to say, my son put it in for no charge. He also checked it and said what they told us wasn't true. It could have easily been fixed. Don't use them. read more

The most terrible customer service I've ever been subjected to. Waited for nearly 3 weeks and kept getting the run around about scheduling an appointment. Who ever is in charge of answering calls hardly answers the phone and is extremely rude throughout the entire conversation. I imagine the rest of the company is a reflection of this same unprofessionalism. Save your money do not so business with this company. Period. read more

Doesn't return phone calls. Took more then 5 days to replace a garbage disposal. Ridiculous service. Never helpful and 0 professionalism.

I was assigned this company by AHS due to a faulty toilet. They are supposed to contact you according to AHS in 24hrs. 3 days later and 3 calls later to Bissett the plumber has still not called. When you call Bissett the lady on the other ends says every time I'll give him the message when he checks in and nobody ever calls. Don't waste your time with this place if AHS assigns them to you do yourself a favor and ask for another company. read more

Absolutely the worst company on the coast!!! They are shady and scammers!! Such a scam!!! Rude and dishonest!!! Our American Home Shield tried to use them to replace my ac that went out. Not only did they try and replace with a low end product. But they also tried to go against code when replacing the unit saying that if it blew out our inside unit then he would go to AHS and have the replace it later. Scam company for sure!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! Pretty upset because my grandparents home has now been without ac for 2weeks and they are in their 80s. The house right now is 93 in inside!! Extremely disappointed with AHS for continuing to us a bad company and angry with this "family owned" company trying to scam my family!! read more

We requested a work order through American Homeshield and they contacted this company. The guy came and told us, we don't have a clean out drain , insurance will not cover without it. In 3 minutes he left. My husband found out that we have the clean out drain so, the next day, husband called the insurance company. They said they will contact him again. My husband called the guy too and the plumber said, he will come. For almost a month, the plumber did not come. They marked the work order completed but the fact is, it's a NO SHOW, NO SERVICE. HomeShield collected $75 from us for the plumbers service fee. We are FORCED to pay and get NO SERVICE at all. TOTAL INJUSTICE!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I cancelled my contract with American Homeshield too. read more

Very friendly company! I worked with Rhonda in the office initially just to discuss a few issues I was having (between our A/C and my home warranty). The negative reviews worried me a bit, But I work with warranties a lot and understand specifications/ limitations businesses like these have. Billy, our technician, was so fast and so efficient. He diagnosed the problem, part ordered and installed within 1 business day. I am highly impressed and am glad I gave Bissett Plumbing a chance. They are awesome. Been 3 weeks and a/c still not fixed. Told us part ordered 1 week ago, just found out ordered part yesterday when part was supposed to be here. Rude customer service , dont get back with you in timely matter. I would not recommend at all! read more

I can't begin to tell you how absolutely AWFUL my experience with Bissett Plumbing was. I will simply ditto everything I see in the other reviews here. Avoid them at all costs.
