My server was really friendly and welcoming, along with the owners. The food was amazing. I got a groupon but def don't mind paying full price here. Everything was great and came out hot. I had the gnocchi and added chicken. My friend got this beef pasta. Very creamy and flavored well. We got creme brûlée which was also tasty ! They're also byob !

I took my husband here for a romantic dinner after not seeing each other for 3 weeks. We had met here 29 years ago (it was a bar back then). I'm giving two stars because other than our amazing waitress, Molly, the food was horrible. Molly was very attentive and a great, friendly waitress. The atmosphere wasn't much better than the duvet bar we met in 29 years ago. The food was a big miss. First, the bread was awful. It was dry and tasted stale. The pesto sauce was ok, but needed more olive oil for the stale bread. The meatballs were probably the best part of the meal. Very good! The sauce was good but only if you love garlic, which we do. My husband had chicken parm, which is his absolute favorite and orders it everywhere we go. The cheese was not even melted on the top (see picture). He said it was the worst chicken parm he ever had. I had the salmon with risotto. The best part was the asparagus. From a restaurant that has so much seafood on the menu, I would not expect to get a piece of salmon with so much coloring added. The salmon was cooked well but the pink color is such a turn off. It really was not a great piece of salmon for the price. The risotto was not great. I don't know why it was so yellow in color. Just did not have a great flavor. Between the meatballs and the orangecello shot, they were the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, this place fell short.

Excellent food and service. Our waiter was very sweet and accommodating. The veal Marsala was thinly sliced and perfectly blended with flavor. The chicken parmigiana was a very decent portion size . We also got some of their house cheesecake which is made fresh. Definitely a must return.

I came to bistro albertino for the first time with a family dinner, I immediately fell in love with the aesthetic of the restaurant! The food was delicious, I had the gnocchi with the Gorgonzola sauce as my meal and I recommend it as a cheese lover! Our server, Chrissy, made the experience amazing! She had great recommendations and made us feel very welcome! I'm definitely going to come back here again in the future.

The outside doesn't look like much and you would easily pass it by, but double check and make your way in. This place has amazing service and great food! This place is the definition of don't judge a book by its cover cause the inside is well furnished and very classy. It's BYOB. Our server Miriam was nice and informative. She started us off with the complimentary bread with pesto dip. The pesto dip was really good. Very light with occasional hint of a spice to it. The bread was light airy with a crunchy exterior. For appetizers we had the baked goat cheese. Amazing and delicious. The strong goat cheese was balanced out with the nice acidity and slight sweetness from the marinara sauce topped with olives for different textures. The crostini gives you the necessary crispiness to the dish. If only there was two more pieces and it would be perfect. We ended using some of the bread to lap up the rest of the dish. The Linguini Pescadore was amazing. We had it in white wine sauce. Absolutely delicious with a melding taste of seafood. It was very light and subtle, but super delicious. The seafood was fresh and well done. Shrimps were big and juicy, fresh clams, and deliciously sweet and soft mussels made this dish amazing for any seafood lover. The Veal Saltimbacco was slightly disappointing compare to everything else. Sauce was good, but strong which destroys the delicate salty taste of the prosciutto and slightly mask the earthy taste that comes with mushrooms. The veal was a bit tough considering it's a tender meat. Had slight difficulty cutting it with the provided knife. Could have been better. Then we ended with one of their homemade desserts. The cannoli was delicious. The cream was light and not too sweet. A delicate and mellow taste with hints of lemoncello paired together with the super crispy crunch of the shell. Absolutely delicious combination of textures that leave you wanting for more. The orangecello shot were just what you need to need the night. Nice sweetness to wrap the whole experience together. Goes now nicely and gives you a tiny warmth. All in all an amazing place that you should not miss! It may look like nothing on the outside, but the food is wonderful. The service is great and the price is reasonable. Must try and definitely recommend the baked goat cheese, linguini pescadore, and the cannoli.

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The menu has many interesting items and the shared appetizers were a good start. The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

We had heard about La Voglia and decided to try it out! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't…read moretoo crowded. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is decorated nicely. They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

The menu is Italian, the alcohol situation BYOB. Service was nice. The gentleman taking care of us made several appreciated gestures such as helping me with my coat, giving us an ice bucket for the white wine and well timing each course that we enjoyed at a leisurely pace. I started with the soup of the day of lobster bisque. Smoothly and creamy. I enjoyed it. There was calamari for the table. We all agreed we'd had better. The chili sauce was nice and it was fried crispy enough but still chewy. Mains included a bland chicken parm served with penne. Nothing to see here. There was also a chicken saltimbocca that was okay. The chicken was tender in both dishes. I had the sacchetti with added shrimp. The sacchetti was filled with ricotta and served with a butter sage sauce. I would surely get this again. For desert we had the limoncello cake. Delicious! Overall, even with the cute setting the ambiance is a little stale. The crowd is heavy on the geriatric side. All that's missing is a little classical music in the background. If you're looking for a vibe uh no. A quiet place to take grandma, yes.

I made a reservation and selected that we were visiting for a celebration and wanted a regular table, not a high top. When we arrived we were escorted to the bar side of the restaurant and brought to a high top. The hostess was happy to move us to a nearby regular table when I mentioned it, which we were happy about. We started with cocktails - a white sangria and one of their signature cocktails - the orange blossom. Both were presented nicely and really good. For our apps we opted for the pizza bread with pesto and calamari. I don't like calamari much, but my bff loves it. However, I ended up having 3 pieces because it was so good. The pizza bread wasn't what I envisioned. It was a very thin, almost flatbread like texture, with a thick layer of pesto. I should have opted for the tomato topping instead. For our entrees, we did the make your own pasta dish with gnocchi, grilled chicken, peas, and a Rosa sauce, the chicken piccata, and a side of the parmesan roasted potatoes. The gnocchi was the standout here. It was pillowy, light, and so flavorful with the Rosa sauce. I could have eaten the whole thing. The chicken piccata was a little strong on the lemon side and the sauce needed to be a bit thicker. If it was served over pasta I think it would have taken it up a notch. The crispy parmesan potatoes were a hit. They were seasoned very well and delicious. They have a selection of desserts as well, but we decided to skip this time around. Our server was hustling and did a great job checking in on us. The establishment feels more like a nicer pizza place than a date night spot, but I'd go back for the gnocchi alone.

It's a BYOB establishment and gives off an early 2000's Tuscan vibe. Props to our waitress, Chelsea, who didn't miss a beat. She made the dining experience so enjoyable. I was with friends that are regulars at Trevi, and she remembered what they typically order. It's clear she genuinely enjoys her job and goes above and beyond for her customers. Our group ordered a few appetizers to start - the Brussels sprouts and fried burrata ravioli were great options for vegetarians like me. The Brussels were seasoned nicely and the fried ravioli was crispy. I highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was thinly sliced and breaded. I asked for spaghetti on the side and it came with the perfect amount of sauce. Chelsea also stopped by with a cheese grater and sprinkled some cheese on top. We couldn't leave without having desserts and there were plenty of those to go around. I personally couldn't wait to try the banana gelato and I was not disappointed one bit!
