In December 2024, I sought treatment for toe nail fungus with Dr. Mostaghimi. She took a look at it and said that she's never seen a worse condition than mine, and told me she'd never want to even touch it. She condescendingly told me to file the nails myself if I wanted her to treat, then left the room. Later, I found out that she charged my insurance company $520 for my visit, in which she provided no care, in addition to making me buy $150 worth of foot-care products that are not covered by Medicare. She's not only unconscionable as a care provider, ill-mannered as a medical professional, and grossly incompetent. She should not be practicing as a medical professional period. Since I moved to San Diego in early February this year, I have seen a podiatrist who took care of my condition, and my toes are looking far much better. read more

Very polite and courteous, and pro in her observations. She was extremely thorough in her evaluation -- asked the right questions, identified the problem quickly, and laid out a clear treatment plan. She never rushed the appointment and made sure I understood every step. It's rare to find a doctor who is both this sharp clinically and this warm with patients. Dr Mostaghimi gave an improper diagnosis! I went in w a swollen ankle/ foot; she diagnosed a sprain . I had a wrap on only and she showed me a different way to wrap it. 8 days later my daughter made me go to my gp, who told me to get an Xray. NOW! ! Fibular fracture! (The tech was nervous and told me to call my dr asap) Today -Dr Mostaghimi told me she offered an xray and a boot! No way did that happen, even though it's in her notes! Not right! And why a boot if she didn't know the type of injury. And she never insisted an xray. Shes the Dr -I would have gone. She just said it was a sprain. I can't fight that! Very disappointing that the Dr doesn't be honest. I should have known it would end like this as she badly undermined Dr Klein as an unfit podiatrist when I told her I'd been to him. She said she worked for him and wasn't impressed with his ways at all! She said she didn't believe he should have done to my foot what he did and that that problem would return because of his procedure. Dr don't do my particular procedure anymore. I'm sad with this outcome. read more

While Dr. Mostaghimi's office is not located close to my home, I chose her because of her positive reviews on Yelp and I was really pleased to be able to get an appointment right away. It turned out to be absolutely worth the drive to Mountain View. After reinjuring my foot in March after fracturing it originally three years ago, I was not able to run anymore (or do the rowing machine, elliptical, etc.). Dr. Mostaghimi diagnosed Tibialis Posterior Tendinitis (likely from having very high arches) and recommended getting custom orthotics and a cortisone shot in my foot where I had injured it and was in pain. Four weeks ago, the day after the shot and when I received the inserts, I was able to start running again with zero pain. Dr. Mostaghimi is very knowledeable about her field of medicine, a very pleasant person, and drove great results. I highly recommend her. read more

One if the best experiences I've had at a physicians office. Dr. Bita asked questions, listened well and together we came up with a conservative course to resolve my foot pain. Dr. M is a miracle worker... I've been struggling with a foot issue for over 3 months, and went to her for a second opinion on Friday. She re-applied the same treatment that another doctor applied 2X before, but did it with so much care that it was able to get to the root, and for the first time in weeks I am able to put weight on my foot. It wasn't a different or new treatment, but the same treatment applied with care ... something that comes with experience, and great empathy... she went the extra mile and created a custom cushion so I could walk in the near term, and then actually put my sock and shoe on because she could do it without causing me pain (vs. it would have hurt if id done it). I'm beyond amazed, impressed and really grateful ... seeing light at the end of a long tunnel ... read more

I went to Dr Mostaghimi for a second opinion on a stress fracture of my second metatarsal. The first podiatrist I saw did an x-ray and did not see anything of note. 4 weeks later after continuing to walk/hike, I insisted on an MRI and he diagnosed the injury as a PRE-stress fracture (hunh?) and just told me to 'stay off it' (I mean, I live alone -- how can i stay off it?). So I went to Dr Mostaghimi who looked at the images, said the problems were due to my foot properties, told me to wear a fracture boot (much better option) and come back in a month (and take calcium and vitamin D). I still can't say that I'm healed but at least I'm doing a lot better. i REALLY like Dr Mostahimi -- she's compassionate, intelligent and knows what she is doing! read more

I am actually blown away by Bita Mostaghimi. We came after 2 other specialists looked at my 9 year old kid and kept sending her home limping. She was in foot pain, limping for 2 months! Dr. Mostaghimi spent significant time with her assessing the problem, explaining her strategy AND FIXING the problem! Not only did my kid walk after but Bita followed up a few days later asking how she is doing and progressing. Dr Mostaghimi is a true professional and asks for permissions and comfort before proceeding with any activity. My first visit to any Podiatrist and I thought I'd be nervous but Dr explains everything to you very calmly and that really helped a lot. read more

Just had my first appointment with Dr Mostaghimi. No previous experience with podiatrists, but I found the doctor very patient, friendly, and articulate. She took the time to listen carefully to my symptoms and history, and was able to explain exactly what was going on in a way that I understood and which gave me confidence in the treatment plan. I would highly recommend the doctor to others. I think she has recently opened this office in Mtn View in coordination with her long-time practice in Milpitas, and they are very accommodating to new patients. read more
