Cute way to call orders when they're ready

What a precious coffee house! I was in town for my son's school event and had a couple solo hours to kill so I popped over to Bitty & Beau's for a latte and to support a small business with a mission. The shop was clean and cozy. I loved the decor. The latte was delicious and they had a great selection of flavored cold foams. Service was fast and personalized. Dylan used my key fob to guess my car. What a treat it was to stop here!

Lovely spot to sit and enjoy a cup of Joe and maybe a pastry. Our service was very good. Love the system of using playing cards to keep track of your order. We got two coffees - both of which were great. We split a blueberry muffin and that too was yummy.

Located across the street from our hotel, we got our morning coffee from this coffee shop for our last day in Waco. This was not the first Bitty & Beau's we had visited, so we knew their mission of having disable employees. We wanted an opportunity to support that goal. We went with our usual drip and Americano. The coffee was fresh and tasted good, not the strongest that we ever had. We loved that three sizes were available unlike some of the coffee cafes that we had visited. Costs were cheaper than some other coffee cafes. Employees were friendly and efficient enough.

Not only do they offer superb service but their coffee is great. It is conveniently located downtown in a cute shopping area. They definitely stand by their motto, "Bitty & Beau's Coffee is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee -- it's an experience." We visited this coffee shop on Friday 12-9-21. I couldn't find it on Yelp so that I could check in. Soooo I added this business myself, today (the next day after). I had to write a review because it was amazing from start to finish! When we arrived, we were greeted by a young man & what looked to be his mentor, a young woman. They were amazingly friendly, warm, welcoming & kind. After we ordered a chai & a mocha latte, then we just waited a short time. Well of course, I looked around at their merchandise. But my hubby, the social butterfly that he is, started chatting with who I'm guessing is the owner? They chatted and then we got our hit drinks. The shop was actually closed but they were not kicking people out right away! I thought that was great! So we took our hot drinks outside and sat at a cute little table! The Mocha latté that I drank , was amazing! The best ever honestly! My hubby's Chai was very delicious he said, also! The cool thing to note about "Bitty & Beau's", is that all of the employees are in some way, disabled. Their motto is "Not broken"! Gosh, I really love that! I need to go back & buy a shirt that has those words on it! I love that this place gives the community a great place to hang out, while giving disabled people a chance to have a great job! Psssst.... The chai was amazing! Kevin and the owners make you feel right at home! The atmosphere is adorable and they have a unique wall where you can put a pin where you live! It is clean and well lit. Great tasting coffee drinks and the treats. The Rice Krispie treats are humongous and tasty and the chocolate cake pop was big and so thick/substantial. A MUST STOP in Waco! The atmosphere here is welcoming, clean, and a vibe is superb! The coffee is absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. I had the privilege to stop at Bitty & Beau's Coffee in Waco yesterday afternoon! After a long day of driving and in need of a caffeine boost, I was treated kindly at the door and escorted to the cash register. I ordered a delicious cold brew and then I grabbed another one to go. I sat at the bar waiting for my drink, and the kindest barista Sophie explained to me the history of the Bitty & Beau company and why the Waco location is so special. Soon enough, all the friendly employees were gathered around and we chatted about all the fun things Texas has to offer. I went in thinking I was getting a coffee and I left 45 minutes later filled with joy and meeting good company! try them out on your next coffee break!! highlights: -lots of workspace -clean and spacious -awesome bar seating -great lighting -friendly employees -good service -great cold brew! read more

Fantastic coffee and even better service!! I got a cold vanilla latte with almond milk and it was strong and delicious. Their staff was super friendly and made sure that we felt welcomed every second we were inside the coffee shop. You can definitely tell that the employees are happy to be there and enjoy their jobs. We stopped by here on our way to the airport. From the moment we walk in, we were surrounded by joy, you could just feel such a happy atmosphere! Our drinks were delicious. I had a caramel frappe and my husband had a strawberry smoothie. We had a wonderful conversation with Stephen who took our orders. His spirit and smile brought so much joy to our day. I can't say enough about this shop! Superb coffee, but what makes it all spectacular is the staff! Walking in with Tanner singing karaoke Christian songs filled my heart. History

Established in 2016.

Amy and Ben Wright founded Bitty and Beau's Coffee in 2016 in honor of their two Down Syndrome children, Bitty and Beau. 80% of adults with disabilities are unemployed, and they wanted to do something about that. They started franchising in 2020, and the Waco location is the fifth franchise, opened on 11/13/21, and is the first Bitty & Beau's Coffee in Texas.

Some of their speciality lattes (like the Remember Me one fall) have been so delicious that I've braved the trek downtown, searching for a parking spot in the middle of my workday, just to get one as an afternoon pick-me-up. I also love the 1885 drink, which is Dr Pepper + espresso. It sounds crazy, but a Waco girl loves it. I will say, ever since the inside was re-painted as a weird, tentacle-esque, purple and orange mural, the ambiance has tanked. I eventually had to call someone over to bring my son a water. I won't be going there again! When servers know they are getting a forced, large tip they don't try very hard to please.

Having just said that the small was the perfect size, the next time I go back I will probably double up so that I can try more flavors since I don't get there that often. Bitty and Beau's is genuinely one of the most adorable coffee shops in Waco, Texas! Not only is the atmosphere relaxing yet fun, the workers are absolutely adorable (in case you didn't know, most of the workers are special needs). They truly are little bundles of joy and want to do their best to work. Overall, its a great spot to do some work or homework, or even just hangout and grab a coffee. They have lots of drink options.
