The first time we tried to eat here it was a Saturday evening during College Football and it was opening weekend. We stayed for about 40 minutes and then were told the kitchen was temporarily closed because it was so backed up and it was probably going to be 2 hours before we would get our food. We decided to go elsewhere but that we would come back when the have a chance to work out some of the kinks. Well today was that day. First off the vibe is good. Plenty TV's for gameday variety and a happy excited energy flowing through the place. We were seated right away and our waitress quickly brought our drinks and took our order. We got a Cowboy, a Chili the Kid, the three sliders, a kids chicken tenders, and some cheese fries. The Dogs and the sliders were all delicious. The tenders were a bit bland but they had a nice hint of heat and the breading was nice and crunchy. We wish they had a regular ranch instead of the miso ranch as an option. The cheese fries came out cold and it looked like they just put a Kraft Single on top and stuck it in the microwave. They were a bit underwhelming. Over all the prices felt a bit high... $11 for a hotdog seems steep and I felt like I could eat 2 of them. read more

Son talked into going to Dog Haus Biergarten for dinner, we were not disappointed! Service was very good, and attentive. They had every beer you could think of on tap. (See Beer Pic). We settle for Vodoo Ranger IPA on tap. Very tasty. Their hot doors were amazing, I had the T-Mex, and my wife had the Downtown. We shared onion strings and a chipotle tater-tot mix, was a mega hit with the grandsons! I barely got a bite . The restaurant was set up nice, with a nice bar, and a very open diner. Highly recommended especially if you like hot dogs. My wife and I were visiting from Austin and worked up an aperture walking around Waco for the first time. The dogs are AMAZING! Walked in the restaurant on a fine Sunday evening ready to have a juicy burger that the Dog Haus chain is known for. There were four other groups in restaurant, but the waiter said it would take an hour to get the food. After we sat down and agreed to wait, he changed it to two hours, conveniently right when they close. Not to mention I was insulted twice by him. Stopped in for an after dinner drink on Sunday night, liked the food menu so much I had to come back the following evening for dinner. The bar staff was very friendly without being annoying, and the beer selection was top notch, with something for any taste. The indoor/outdoor layout is fun and makes it feel like the restaurant spills out onto the sidewalk. I came back the next night for a breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. I paid 11 bucks for an enormous and delicious toasted burrito, filled with eggs, cheese, spicy sausage, and hot sauce. I'd have paid twice as much for half the food anywhere else. My buddy loved his enormous cheeseburger and the fries were bomb as well... crispy and well seasoned. I only had a couple nights in Waco, but if I had a third, I'd probably eat here again! read more

Went and had lunch October 20, 2025 at 11 AM with a buddy of mine. We wanted to try the dogs out. I had the chili Idol and my buddy had the old town. We added a couple of bowls of chili for aside. All the food was great. Got a couple of sodas as well. The place is set up like a sports bar and has a good vibe for the atmosphere. A great selection of beer and a full bar. You can eat inside or outside on the patio. The weather is just getting just right to be out on the patio. Location is new. The location is clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and ready to help you ordering your food. I recommend this place. So next time you're hungry for a hot dog this is the place to stop at. read more

Service was great- thx Ashley. Ordered a haus rita and tasted like pure salt but was replaced. Michelada was all tomato juice but was replaced. Dog came out cold but son ate anyway. Loaded tots were not crispy. Burger though hot, they don't cook to order and patty did not cover the bun. Very loud and hard to hear and talk to others at the table. read more

The vegetarian sausage is excellent. And the corn dog batter is unique. What I really loved was the onion rings---finely cut and fried well. The only real "downside" was that the place is filled with televisions. Not sure why people would go out to eat to watch to TV. read more

We ordered onion strings and they came out late and said they were out, so they gave us onion rings. The onion rings, french fries, and tator tots tasted like old oil. I like the vibe of the place, but I will not be back anytime soon. I wanted to give it a second try because the first time I went, I ordered a drink and they just totally forgot it, while it wasn't busy in there at all.
