I think these reviews are a bit inflated. The people were very nice but I think it's definitely overpriced for what it is. The space was clean and pretty nice but there were certain things that were just off. The AC in the unit was super loud and distracting during the service bc the unit does not have central air. It's part of a shopping strip with multiple units. The massage portion of my treatment on my shoulders felt a bit awkward. The scalp massage was fine but nothing like amazing scalp massages I've had at salons, especially Korean salons. Feels a bit like tik tok overselling the experience which I was concerned by when I saw reviews mentioning tik tok. It definitely does not feel like a full service luxury salon experience. Just wow! I knew this would be an experience but it surpassed my expectations. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave everything is tranquil and smooth. Henry definitely makes you feel comfortable and goes in depth about your scalp analysis but not too much where you lose interest. The place is in the heart of Burbank right on Magnolia, the space is so carefully curated to set the vibes right away. Henry served me some delicious tea, and after brushing out my hair, my scalp was scanned with a very cool device that takes detailed pictures of your scalp. Soon after, he is showing me my results on the iPad and who knew the scalp had so much going on. After that I was lead to the back room to change into a towel wrap (but only for the top half, you keep bottoms on) then he tells you to lay down and puts a heavy weighted blanket to cover your whole body and places a Himalayan salt rock over you belly to be centered. And then the magic happens, the best hair wash of my life that included some scalp massaging and neck massaging. I mean, talk about personalized service. From there Henry gave me a light neck and shoulder hot stone massage. Once the massage was over, it was time to move on to the main event, my luxe treatment. Henry placed a hot stone on my stomach (over the robe of course), put the most comfy, weighted blanket over me, put an eye cover on, and went to work on my hair and scalp for almost an hour. I could hear him talking throughout to tell me what he was doing step by step, but honestly, I was so relaxed that I don't think I really paid much attention to what he was saying, lol. Again, the treatment, the massaging of the scalp and washing of the hair we just so amazing, that I didn't want it to end.
