I've been here before for Reiki with Heather (who is amazing at Reiki)but had never gotten any other services until today. I was emailed a invite for their pre holiday party offering free mini services (facials, foot massages, eyebrow and lash consults, massages, reiki and ear seeding). I'm Just so happy I did RSVP late In the day while I was at work. I mean why not! I was already having a busy tiring week and could use some RELAXation so I went after work. The spa itself is like a little oasis beautifully decorated with such a good vibe! It was so nicely decorated for the holidays and they had a beautiful cheese board with all the fixings and wine too (I indulged in the yummy cucumber lemon water). I signed up for most of the services and enjoyed chatting with others while we waited to be called for the service. I did the eyelash consult and ended up getting an awesome deal with Kay for lashes. She was knowledgeable and suggested some ideas that I loved so I was in! Then my massage with Henry was so relieving for an ongoing shoulder pain I decided to book a full massage with him. He was attentive and really worked on my stress points where I actually felt some relief. I got called for my mini facial and Lissette was amazing. She gave me a consult on what would be best for my skin and after my face just glowed. During the facial the owner Traci was calling out the raffle winners for the night. I actually won! And I wasn't the only one! (Super cool))My next service was ear seeding. Something I knew nothing about was interested and Jenna was a wealth of info and blessed me with her gift! I'll have to do some more research on it further., but loved it and felt a sense of calmness in my spirit! All in all this spa has staff and an owner that REALLY care and invest in you! So it's a win win! I got some great deals on future services, an awesome chakra kit I won (made by Heather Reiki Master) and walked out feeling like a new person! The spa is clean, beautiful, with ample parking and they just make you feel great. Like I said a little oasis to retreat from life's stresses. My birthday weekend massage ruined by disorganization and possible greed. I received a call the night before, 7:17 PM to be exact to notify me that a large party had booked my time slot at 11:00 AM for today, but when I booked it (about a week and a half in advance) it didn't show up. So I was asked if I could move my appointment to 12:00 PM. Keep in my mind the woman who called who sounds like the owner was not apologetic in any form. But I said, sure. My day was planned for but, an hour wouldn't hurt anything. But how do you NOT book a large party into your system unless it was a last minute request and the profit was just too good to pass up. Today at 10:11 AM I get another call asking if they could move me to 2:40 PM. I asked what was going on? She proceeded to say that they're very busy and are trying to accommodate other clients and they're calling to see who's willing to move their appointments. I expressed that it was rude to make room for "other clients" when I had made the appointment well in advance, it was my birthday weekend and I had plans for the day. I declined to move my appointment. I was so angry however, and knew I wouldn't enjoy the massage now, so I called back and told whoever answered the phone what happened and I was canceling. All I got was, oh, sorry for the inconvenience. I bought a new client package when I was there last because my experience with the facial I received was wonderful. And I bought one of their most expensive facials too, The Goddess Facial. Bought a cleanser and tipped generously. Guess it's going in the trash now because I know I won't be getting my money back or going back. Maybe I can donate the certificate to one of their "other clients" who are more important than a new client who was respectful, gracious and made an appointment in a timely manner. You never know what your clients might be going through. I've been stressed out from life, work and caring for an elderly mother who is very ill. This massage would have been very healing for me today. Be kinder and more apologetic when you have to make changes last minute. You're in the business of healing and caring for your clients after all. read more

Visited Relax Spa first time yesterday. Highly recommend. The spa was spotless and such a relaxing atmosphere. I selected an ENZYME Facial with an add on Oxygen Therapy. Christy did my facial was just a wonderful experience. Was super impressed by the care and attention I received at my facial appointment. First impressions count so much. Christy is great! She was very tentative and thorough explaining with detail what she was doing and what products she was using. I felt relaxed and at ease. Pretty impressed with final result. Will be back They carry a line of skin products as they explained I never once felted pressure. I purchased the Lira Sunscreen felt amazing on my face. Look forward to getting more products read more

I struggle with adult acne, and feel like Traci and the estheticians genuinely care about helping me achieve the skin I want. I've been seeing Anastasia and she's wonderful! Why, oh why didn't I listen to the other negative reviews?! AVOID THIS UNORGANIZED BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! I don't even know where to start. I have two kiddos and needed a day to relax. My husband bought me a Groupon (massage) for Relax Spa & Beauty as well as a gift card to a nail salon (not affiliated with this spa). Both offer online booking, which is fast, easy and convenient. Or so I thought. I booked the massage at Relax Spa & Beauty online the night before and I received a confirmation email (see attached photo). I didn't even go on the computer to open the email in its entirety as I checked over it and it said I was confirmed with Carmena. I figured I was good to go. The next day, the day of my appointment, I hop on Yelp to get the address of the spa. Another negative reviewer described a terrible experience where they were told they couldn't be accommodated when they showed up for their online-booked appointment because the spa's own online booking system isn't synced with their scheduling book at the front desk and the employees don't check their OWN ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM TO COMPARE THE TWO. I got nervous, so I called in to the spa. Mind you, they had been open for hours at this point and I didn't receive any communication concerning the appt. ONLY the confirmation email. I explain to whom I assume to be the owner that I arranged childcare and was preparing to come in for my booked appt. She initially offers to honor the session. Okay, good. But then she goes on to explain that their online booking system is basically useless because apparently it's the customers responsibility to know if the spa has someone else booked in their appointment slot or not (right, that makes sense). I tell her she could have called me when the spa opened (you know, review your online bookings and your appt book in the spa and compare them, seems like the logical thing to do). Then she proceeds to tell me that not only can she no longer accommodate that time but that they're hosting a party for customers to come in and shop around I guess? So keeping my booked appt would be an inconvenience to them. This wasn't a private event, it was open to the public. And my massage was only an hour. It would have ended BEFORE this customer "event" was to occur. She stated "you wouldn't like it because we are prepping and you'll hear people talking". I told her because it is so difficult for me to get time away from the kids, my schedule is hectic, this was one of the only days for a long time I could sneak away for a spa day and I was fine with the noise of people, I could bring headphones. Easy solution. She places her hand over the phone and begins speaking to who I assume is Carmena. They're discussing putting me in some type of storage/small back room for the massage (because they needed the other space I guess?). Then I can hear the owner saying "yeah, right, I'm just going to tell her no, yeah no, this isn't going to work". How unprofessional are you, I can HEAR you discussing all of this. She says they can't do it because I'll hear talking despite the fact that I said I didn't care. I just wanted the time away and the massage for a painful back. Eventually she realizes that I'm okay with all the excuses she's throwing at me to get me to say "fine I'll cancel my appointment" that she tells me "I'll call you back and I'll comp you the massage you paid for through Groupon. I'll book you on the next available Sunday appointment" (I thought, okay, I can try to figure that out for tomorrow. It was Saturday 11/23). When I tell her Sunday could probably work she gets back on the phone with me after checking the book and says "okay we have Sunday Dec 8th". 2 weeks away? Are you KIDDING me?! I tell her never mind, forget about it. Her tone was defensive, aggressive, and rude. She did not CARE AT ALL that I was inconvenienced, that I had a booking. That rather than the business itself reach out first thing in the morning and say they are sorry they can't keep my booked appointment she waits until I call her an hour and a half before my appointment to treat me poorly, tell me I can come in, then retract that by cancelling the appointment entirely! She took ZERO responsibility for their crappy online booking service and took zero responsibility for the awful, unacceptable way she treated me. She didn't apologize. I was simply an inconvenience. Is it because it was a Groupon? Who knows. If you're going to treat your Groupon customers differently don't work with Groupon. I waited several weeks, giving this owner a chance to reach out before I wrote a negative review. I have YET to receive so much as a call or email!!! Groupon won't refund you if it's beyond 3 days. So I'm out almost $100 with no spa day. AVOID THIS PLACE, or at least the owner (the massage therapist might be awesome, guess I'll never get the chance to find out!). read more

I've been coming to this massage place since they opened. My mom actually use to go to their old location on Hollywood Way in burbank. But wow I love it. Lisset does the best facials ever. She is beyond educated. She knows exactly what to put on your face. She is so kind and really makes you feel like a queen. I just recently visited her last week and made my face feel completely different. She is the best! At the end of the facial she gave me a jar to pick one affirmation. I thought that was so nice. I love her! Melody C. was my masseuse. Wow. The second I walked into the room she asked me, what pressure would I like, what areas would I like to focus on and what areas to not touch. Once she started it was just lovely. The entire time of the massage she kept the same pressure and it was perfect. I was in heaven. Im honestly so happy with my two treatments. I had a Groupon for laser Lipo then bought a package of sculpt x. Which was cavitation, wood sculpting and radio frequency blah blah blah. Not sure but it was AMMMAZZING! I lost 4inches. My skin is tight after 4 kids. It promoted me to get on a better rating and work out regimen. I love this place!! The environment is super calm and welcoming. Tracy is FANTASTIC! I love her so much. I got a facial by Lizette last week and it was amazing! She evaluated my skin and gave me the enzyme facial to help clear up my pores. And boy does it work! A week later my skin still looks amazing!!! Even her extractions were painless! Definitely recommend her! read more

This place lives up to its name!!! I felt relaxed and by husband felt beautiful! We used a Groupon for a couples massage, which included a 1 hour facial, 1 hour full body massage, a glass of wine each and chocolates. We had Tatiana for the facial and Carmena for the massage and both were absolutely wonderful and very skilled! Their quality of work was matched by their great customer service and warm personalities. read more

I've been coming to Relax Spa for over 5 years. Out of all the facials and Esteticians I've had, Traci has been by far the BEST and more thorough. She does an impeccable job. I brought my boyfriend, my sister, my personal trainer & my girlfriend here and all have been serviced beyond their expectations. She's helped me with my skin issues from milia to congestion... she's been my skin doctor. I have purchased many of their products, especially the skin care products by Cell Renewal Systems (CRS). All have made a difference in results after prolonged use & Traci always has the best advisor & consultant for my skin needs or treatments. I always leave my sessions with a glowing face. I've also had a massage and it was so relaxing, I may have fallen asleep for the second half of it! Ha ha! Love this new location and love the staff. Valentina gets 5 stars for the BEST facial I have ever had in my life. She does what all the other girls do and then she starts to Massage your face, scalp, neck, shoulders, arms and she has the most advanced knowledge of the muscles in my upper body. Her touch is pure magic! She is extremely professional and charming. I will ONLY go back to see Valentina in the future at Relax Spa & Beauty in Burbank. I'm so relaxed I can hardly write this review. Seriously, these people mean what they say. I've had plenty of "spa" experiences that were just "okay". Relax Spa had me ready for night night. I had a Swedish Massage with Monica with two add-ons of a body scrub (I think it was Citrus Basil scented, but there were several to choose from) and I also added on greater intensity with focus on my neck and shoulders. Monica is certainly skilled as she hit all the right spots, spots that I didn't realize we're bothering me. She spent time on the back of my lower legs where there would be pain from wearing heels (I wear heels non-stop). Ahhhh, this felt phenomenal! I've NEVER had a masseuse rub there. What a shame. Now I'm ruined for all others. She did everything right okay, trust me. Heather gave me an Enzyme facial. This was just as relaxing and fabulous. The products smelled fresh, felt natural and light. She used a pumpkin enzyme/glycolic mixture at first, gave me an awesome facial massage (I mean seriously awesome), massaged my neck and shoulders, then applied a thick nourishing mask. I felt like I was there for hours with how relaxed I was. I added on a reflexology foot massage that seemed to go on for hours. These ladies aren't lazy with their add-ons, they put in work. I was highly impressed. I've done add-ons before and found it to be a rip-off and waste of money. Not here. I mean, I already told you I wear heels non-stop, this foot massage was heaven! The best underarm wax I have ever had! Stayed in Burbank at the Marriott Hotel, this spa was listed on their website. I went on in, it was great experience. Appointments can be made through the site. Awesome prices for wellness special days. Had a long talk with the lady doing my wax, she turned out to be the owner. She was great, very nice explained the process as she was doing it, and suggestions for futures waxing (she could tell I have bad one in the past without me saying so). This place is a gem in downtown Burbank. Traci (owner) is kind, thoughtful and knows how to run her business. I have been supporting this business through COVID restrictions because they need to stay in business. Her creativity to put cabana's outside during restrictions was genius! I have massages with Jonathan and Allan, both equally wonderful. I had a facial this week from Leni which was the best facial I have had. 3 days later my face still feels like I had a facial. Booked a pamper party for 7 people to celebrate my birthday. We had appointments starting at 10 AM and had the entire place to ourselves until past noon when the next party came in. MONICA- the receptionist was so attentive! from the moment we walked in she was so warm and welcoming and already had wine and snacks for us ready on the table. she was so friendly even offered to take pictures of us, and always made sure our glass was full (she brought us water, wine, or juice). excellent customer service!!! CARMINA- WOW i get a lot of massages and i have been to many spas... but carmina has great hands!! she really is able to identify your problem areas and i felt so much better, would love to come back and have a full body 1 hour massage with her! def recommend! TATIANA- she did my facial and was equally skilled in her area, very warm and excellent customer service! BRIANA- i did not get any services from her, but a few girls in my party had their facials done by her and raved about it! I personally have not been to this spa, however, I have received facials from Brianna before and she is absolutely wonderful. She is very gentle, polite and informative about the products she is using, took her time to assess my the needs of my skin (changes with the season). Front desk (Sara) if there is a misunderstanding please let the person you're speaking with know that you're taking something the wrong way instead of taking the misunderstanding to heart. I was explaining why I asked you to state your name on what was our second phone call. I just like to know who I'm speaking to so I can keep track because it's easier to communicate with someone who is already familiar with why you're calling, and you never gave me your name when you called. I was expecting Traci and so I ask "is this Traci?" You respond "no" with a long pause and so I had to ask your name and I tried my best to explain why I asked for it. My great experience :) My cousin got for me a gift certificate for fool body massage or it was deep tissue massage, I don't know whenever it was I went there recently and I am so happy. Marcela was the person who worked with me, she was very professional and very nice. First of all they have amazing costumer crevice, the management and the employees were super helpful by phone and even in person. They made me feel a queen. I work in beauty industry and I know what is mean costumer service and I always treat people how I would love to be treated. And at this please I was treated very well that's why I am giving 5 stars. If it was possible to give more I'll give more. The spa is very clean, smells great and looks very beautiful. Thank you everyone for the great crevice!!! I'll definitely go back!!! read more

I purchased a Groupon and went to Relax Spa in Burbank. It's a small place, and not super fancy, but it's clean and the massage was great. Greg was a fantastic masseur. I had a 60-minute combo massage. I had been having trouble with my shoulder and Greg totally took care of it. I look forward to going back in the new year when my schedule slows down. The only thing that was a bit challenging was the parking. There are only 2 spots in the back for them, and Hollywood Way is a bit busy for the street parking. read more

Granted it was a groupon so guess I should not have expected top notch service. However, therapist asks no questions re: pressure (there are variances even with Swedish) or areas of focus. Totally left with a tight lower back which is the exact reason WHY i wanted a massage in the first place. Massaged with dry hands, like hello pump another dollop of lotion, please. She made very bizarre sounds throughout - perhaps what she thought I should have said? Lots of oohs and ahhs.... STILL tipped well but wanted to leave ASAP. Check-out lady asks nothing about feedback on massage just tries to upsell me on buying some $180 package specifically for new customers. Two days later started having pain and trouble with my reach.... Eek! Me thinks not. read more

I absolutely love this gem! Tatiana is an expert at facials!! Not only is she great at knowing exactly what your skin needs, she helps you maintain the glow you leave with. My husband and I also go here for waxing. The receptionist is always friendly and welcoming. The minute you open the door, the calming scent relaxes you and you are well taken care of. I came across this business in need of finding a non-invasive way to reduce inches off my fatty…read morearms. This is such a huge insecurity for me as I have always suffered from "big arms" I have lost weight in the past but my arms seems to have always been the least to get slimmer. So glad I found the Body Sculpt LA and the owner, Maggie is such a great asset. I need a kick start to my weight loss management, plus it is encouraging to see how your body will transform. Upon calling for an appointment, she was very honest, did not try to upsell me any other services and encouraged me to first make it in person and have her take a look so she can recommend the best approach. This is rare and I appreciated this. I made an appointment for cryo therapy, to reduce some stubborn fat in both arms. The procedure itself was painless and did not experience anything negative. No downtime and can go about my day. Made it in, and Maggie was very pleasant, patient and honest all the way. With her help now, I have started to watch more of what I eat, especially carbs and refined sugars. As I keep going for more sessions and inquire diet/exercise I do hope to see and loose a few inches. Will update once all sessions are complete and hopefully there is a drastic change (manifesting of course) **Drink your water and stay healthy, follow her instructions to see the best results ever** Thank you Maggie for your time during my first time visit this past Sunday. I don't live nearby, so I made a long drive and wasted both my time and gas for nothing. What made the experience even worse was how it was handled afterward. I reached out multiple times by phone and email requesting a refund, and my calls and emails were repeatedly ignored. It was incredibly frustrating to be met with complete silence instead of a simple acknowledgment or apology. When someone finally addressed the situation, I was offered a free session as if that would make up for everything. It felt like they viewed this as a minor inconvenience, when in reality they completely wasted my time, failed to communicate, and then ignored my repeated attempts to resolve the issue. My biggest issue isn't just the missed appointment--it's the complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. If a business can't be bothered to notify clients that no one will be there, and then ignores multiple requests afterward, why would anyone trust them with their time or money? This experience was handled poorly from beginning to end. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend a business that shows so little respect for its customers.

Due to my stiff shoulder and back muscle discomfort, I made an appointment with Relax Spa & Beauty, but I was unsure what kind of service quality I would get. However, I was blown away after one 60-minute session with Sam. The deep tissue massage and cupping have loosened my stiff body, and I can feel the "Qui" flowing. So, I made another 90-minute session with Sam, then another. Yesterday was my second 90-minute session with Sam, and it was unbelievable how much he could release all the hidden tensions and pain in my body and help me recover from the living stress and cold weather damage. I am returning next Friday and anticipate continuing the 90-minute deep-tissue massage treatment with Sam for a while. I highly recommend Sam's professional service to those with the same problem. Everything from when you first walk in and are greeted by the amazing aroma (I think it's their own special blend of aroma therapy oils - Eucalyptus, Mint and maybe something else) to how friendly the staff is, really makes this THE place to relax! I've been coming here for years and although it is not the biggest or most luxurios spa I have been to (I've been to spas all over the world), it is definetly the one that has the best service and most knowledgable staff. So-so place The massage itself was nice, but the room was very light/bright, and being that it's an old house, the walls were pretty thin, so I heard every passing car. I also could hear pedestrians walking by and talking, skateboarders, and people talking within the house. This review is long overdue…read more I have been going to RA Organic Spa for over 20 years. I have visited other resorts and spas, but I'm always grateful that I found RA and can keep coming back. The feeling of comfort and serenity is abundant the moment you walk in. They greet you by name when you arrive and again when you leave. The lobby is small but very welcoming. They offer plenty of products for purchase, but they never hard-sell you. When you check in, there is a small waiting area where you can sit with hot tea, water, and small snacks while you wait. Please make sure to turn off your cell phone--this is a quiet zone, so whispering or no talking is encouraged. The dim lighting really makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. There is also another waiting area in the back if you need to change into a robe for your service. There is actually a lot of space back there to relax while waiting. The treatment rooms themselves are warm and comfortable, and each room has a closet for your personal items. In the back area, they also have changing spaces and lockers. There are two changing areas, along with a room that has chairs specifically for foot and neck massages. I highly, highly, highly recommend the foot massage. They take it to the next level because they start with your neck and arms before moving to the foot massage. I dare you to try not to fall asleep by the time they're done. I have seen the spa when they are busy and when they are slow, and I have never seen it dirty or unkempt. The level of cleanliness and the standards maintained by the staff have always been excellent. I've never had trouble booking an appointment. I've also given gift certificates to family members and friends, and three people I know now go there regularly because of those gifts. Their prices are by far some of the best in the industry. You simply cannot find a facial at the price they offer at RA. I've looked, and I can't find anything comparable. If you want a facial, I highly highly recommend Maria. She has truly turned back time on my skin with the facials she gives me. She listens to your needs and walks you through the products she uses to make sure they match what your skin needs and what you're looking for. She genuinely cares. Under new management, they have recently added online booking through their website, which is wonderful. I'm looking forward to another great 20 years going to RA--ugh, I just aged myself! A few additional notes: they do have a sauna, bathrooms, and one bathroom includes a shower. Parking can be a little tricky. There is structure parking and street parking, but the street parking is timed. I do have a great parking spot that I like to use... but I can't tell you where it is. It's my secret spot. Sorry!
