I did not have a pleasant experience like the rest of these reviewers. Per the photos, I didn't have Tosha as my technician. Idk who it was as she didn't give me her name. Let's start with how difficult it was to get inside the building. Thankfully the technician met me outside after I called. Once she started the sugar waxing, she didn't say a word to me. I am not used to getting waxed in silence. Next thing, IT HURT!!! A LOT!!! When I left my underarms were red and bumpy and in pain! I have had my underarms waxed before and didn't experience pain, redness, irritation or bumps. It's been two weeks today and my hair is already growing back!!!! A lot! Unbelievable! Super disappointed in this place. I do not recommend. The last place I went to get my underarms waxed, my hair didn't grow back for a month! And there were no redness, pain or bumps. read more

No joke, the BEST Brazilian sugaring I've EVER had. I get sugared once every few months. I've done a lot of laser hair removal, but I still have a decent amount of growth so I like to get it cleaned up before vacations or special occasions. To be perfectly honest, I usually go to another spot but they were all booked up today. Luckily I found Sugar Place on Yelp and Tosha not only squeezed me in for a last minute Brazilian, but my daughter came along as well to get her legs done which she also made time for. The first great sign was a huge ring light over the bed, so you know this aesthetician means business! Lol. I always wonder how people get waxed in dimly lit rooms, I know it's supposed to be for client comfort, but you need light when looking for hairs! The best thing about Tosha was how PAINLESS her technique is! I realized that by doing small sections, and keeping the skin super taut, I had VERY little discomfort (compared to my last appt at a famous high end chain where by technician was SUPER nice but she was pulling off large strips without holding my skin tightly.
