First time EVER in a BJ's and I loved it ! Found the book section (bad idea) and only got a few essentials since this is my first trip round. Will be returning in the future because a lot of my daily use products are much cheaper here to buy in bulk. The books are like half the retail prices which are a huge bonus - don't have to wait till they get used and land in thrift stores ! Produce section is amazing. I am going to start with the date and time. Because I believe the market is great and the people who work at the market deserve my respect. Date: May 3-2026 Time: 10:00 AM. The young lady who checks the receipt does not have the education to deal with people. She lacks the capacity for that position. I am really angry at how she treated my wife and me. I am a regular customer; it is not the first time that this young lady treats us in a disrespectful manner. I am thinking about canceling and not continuing to be a member of a place that does not have employees capable of understanding the customer. THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST. I suggest that they move her to another place because where she is now is not good for the market. PERIOD. read more

This is a solid 4 star place and honestly. It's not too bad if you have a membership. Especially when they go on discount. I believe I got my membership off of a Groupon or something. Similar for about $10 a year and it's worth it when you really get down to it. The store is very clean. It does not have the weird odors like some stores. Do not calling out any specific ones. But I think we've all been in stores that have an odd smell. Carts are always ready. Selection is a little tight Nothing that you would find in larger warehouse type stores like Sam's Club and Costco. So as long as you get your understanding of what the store has and to offer, then it's a great place to shop. Also, get my contacts from here. -- Good ... it's convenient -- Bad -Had a bad experience with purchasing an item there. I found out that I couldn't use it & decided to return it on the same day & they wouldn't take it back. The item hadn't been open or tampered with. It was just like I purchase it. Mind you I spent 59.00 & some change, that I lost & got nothing. I feel like a big company as BJS could at least make it right by giving me a voucher for that amount that I could use in the store. They gave me no notice that buying this item that it could not be returned. So beware of purchasing items there, Basically I gave you money & got no credit at all for it. Clean store, no crowds with plenty of room, prices comparable to Costco for your main big box wholesale items. Gas prices are good too. Their prepared store foods though, such as meatloaf, chicken wings, sandwich wraps, party trays, etc. are not as tasty or as good as a place like Costco which is dissapointing. And no place to grab a quick bite to eat or drink there inside. read more

I ordered new tires online and made an appointment. I show up at my appointment on time and nobody is at the store. It's literally empty. I call the number and they can't find anyone to come in and install the $1100 set of tires I purchased. I guess they don't want my business. Don't waste your time with this second rate operation and get your tires somewhere else. read more

Brand new store opened near the intersection of Hull Street Rd and RT288. The store is clean and well organized. From prepackaged groceries to a fresh bakery and meat department. Like most clubs it is set up for bulk purchases. Stopped by on a Sat afternoon and found the place easier to Maneuver than another club store off of Midlothian Turnpike. Prices are a little higher here in comparison to other clubs but the trade off is you don't have the swarms of people and plenty of parking. read more

What a nice surprise! Moved to Virginia from Arizona and never been inside a BJ's. No crowds, great buys and so many choices of everything. My first visit and I became a member. Above all the stuff inside, the gas prices are the lowest I can find and enjoy saving money at the pump. I've been back several times and will continue to return often. read more

The first impression is a lasting impression. Ok, so I signed up for my membership online a few evenings ago. And decided today I would go to the store to pick up my actual membership card. Well the door greeter was friendly. Went to member services the cashier I had wasn't that friendly maybe she didn't want to be there. Just my opinion. So I told her what I was trying to do. I stayed that my address was incorrect on my drivers license and gave her my current address. She then hands me my ID and membership cards and I was on my way. Luckily as I was walking to my car I looked at the cards. This idiot yeah I said it had given me the wrong cards. I'm like are you serious. So I turned back around went back in the store. Walked back up to her I forgot what her simple self said something to the effect are you getting a new membership or are you signing up. Whatever it was it was stupid because did she not hear anything I said when I first walked in. So how many other customers are walking around with the WRONG cards? If she doesn't want to do her job let someone else have it. Or she she be more like her coworker who was very pleasant and professional to the customer she was helping. Not everyone needs to work with the public. Those people need to be in the back definitely not at member services or a cashier. Hopefully, the next time I go back I'll have a better experience. If not then I won't be renewing my membership for the next year. read more
