Look at my beautiful edge!
Meg M.

Doing a kitchen remodel is a pricy and lengthy process, so I did not want to be disappointed. I did my research and read many reviews about different products. Home Depot had a fantastic perk, with purchase. There was a choice of a free edging! If you have ever invested in a solid surface countertop before, you will be familiar with the fact that edging style can be very pricy, and of course, the one I had my heart set on was more expensive. Additional charges, such as demo, sink and faucet installation seemed excessive, so be prepared. Although, it would have been much more convenient, we passed on these. We have some skills, so opted to do the work ourselves. Unfortunately, there was no military discount allowed for special orders. Ugh. My family is thrilled with our new kitchen countertops! Thank you Home Depot for helping us though out this process.

Only $99 this thing is usually $179

I bounce back-and-forth between The Home Depot and Lowe's as probably most people do. It seems as when one store is offering a great deal the other is not and vice versa. Generally speaking I would have to say I go to Lowe's more often. With that being said this Home Depot has seemed to step it up a notch with their customer service lately. I just bought a smoker for less than half of the price of what they normally would be, and the associates were eager to help me put it in my car and take it out to my car and unload it. I did not ask him to help me with this they volunteered on their own which says a lot. Customer service can go along way I will probably visit here before Lowe's again next just because of that. If you haven't been to this Home Depot in a while I was suggest giving them another try they have gotten much better than in the past.

I cannot emphasize enough how small businesses like this are so important to our communities…read more There are so few mom and pop nurseries around anymore that it's scary. Jubilant Nursery is a PERFECT example of locals spending money-locally! I bought all of my garden vegetables here today, and spent much less than I would have an a big box store! That kind of seems to go against logic doesn't it? Wrong!! Not only did I spend less money, but everything was grown locally, from seed. I see some ways in which the owner saves money. All the plants don't have frou frou little pictures and guides in each pot to tell you what to do. As the plants get more mature from seed the nursery puts a stick in each pot with a number that correlates to a chart in each greenhouse to tell you what that plant is. I bought several hybrid tomato plants today that I have never seen or heard of at any other nursery or big box store. Also to save money here there are no bells and whistle's, you go into the greenhouse, pick the plants you need and go on. The owner, Brian, actually met me at my car as I got out, and asked what I was looking for and how he could help. He's very familiar with everything inside of his nursery and what he grows. "Daffy" the family pet, also greeted me. She's a very cool duck that will let you pet her! My kids loved this. Not that I'm old enough to remember, but this place kinda reminds me back in the day the old gas stations that when you would pull up to get gas all the attendants came out to take care of your car while you were filling up. Keep in mind they are only open about 3 to 4 months out of the year. Once they run out of locally grown vegetables and plants that's it till the next year-they are done. What a great local place! If you're ever near Midlothian and Providence Road give them a try for your gardening needs!

We were fortunate to have a layout planned, selected and planted Jubilant Gardens. Their hours can vary, you might want to clarify their hours to se if they're open. They did all the planting both in our front and back yard. We are thrilled w/ the layout and we didn't loose any plants. The work was cost wise very reasonable. Highly recommend their work, plants and professionalism.

If I could assign a negative-numbered review reflecting my experience with this company I would. I…read morepurchased 10 cubic yards of natural brown double shredded hardwood mulch (approx. $311.00, a great price!) to spread on my front garden beds. When the mulch was delivered I thought it might look like a lesser load than 10 cubic yards but I questioned my judgement because when the delivery man dumped the mulch in my driveway he did not dump the mulch in a large heaping mound but instead slowly drove out of my driveway while dumping the load. This spreading technique gave the mulch pile a larger footprint than a typical heaped-up pile. After spreading the mulch I realized I had been shorted because the mulch only covered about 2/3 of my front yard planting beds; whereas in subsequent years 10 cubic yards would have sufficiently covered them all at an approximate average depth of 3". I am not a novice at spreading mulch. I have been buying and spreading mulch in my yard for over 20 years. I just have not purchased a 10 cubic yard load in two years so I thought my memory was wrong when I first saw the pile after delivery. I have not added any new planting beds to my front yard in 10 years. The only addition over these years has been plants; shrubs, trees, perennials and groundcovers which take up more planting bed than in previous years requiring even less mulch. When I called to speak to a manager about the shortage, I was told I was "wrong" and that, "we count every scoop as it's loaded" and that "he had been working in that line of business for over 50 years". So it was my word against his. He was not even willing to come to my property to see the mulch spread to verify if it truly was 10 cubic yards. I live, literally, 5 minutes from the business. No consideration was made that I was short changed. None. So what I garner from his attitude is that in over the 50 years he's been in the business he sure has learned how to screw over the customer and ruin any positive customer service. How unfortunate for him. I was planning on buying another 10 cubic yards for my backyard. For your sake, please do not attempt to give this shyster any business. He might be good for a quick single scoop of mulch in the back of your pick-up but if you need a larger quantity to be delivered there is a good chance you will be ripped off. Save yourself the time and aggravation and spend a little bit extra for mulch and get yourself exactly what you paid for.

This is what I left on YOUR Website: I cannot say enough great things about Pandora's Posies and its incredible owner, Kim! Yesterday, I received a personal email from Kim after the shop had already closed, which was such a thoughtful and considerate gesture. She informed me that due to the upcoming inclement weather, she was going above and beyond by coming in on Sunday--despite her shop typically being closed--to complete orders scheduled for Monday. Kim and I have been emailing back and forth, and I have to say, she is one of the most courteous, professional, and incredibly sweet individuals I've ever interacted with. Her warmth and kindness shine through in every message, and it's so clear that she genuinely cares about her customers. This level of dedication and customer care is truly unmatched. Not only was Kim willing to open the shop on her day off, but she also made it clear that her top priority was ensuring that I (and all her customers) would be happy with her service. Kim's commitment to excellence and her willingness to go the extra mile is a testament to the passion and care she puts into her business. If you're looking for a florist that genuinely cares about their customers, look no further than Pandora's Posies. I will be a loyal customer for life! Thank you, Kim, for your kindness, professionalism, and exceptional service! Highly recommend! MUCH Appreciated, Kim!!! YOU are SWEET! Joe
