I needed to have my diamond ring resized and I couldn't be more happy with Sycamore Jewelers. At first I went in with the idea of perhaps changing the setting altogether and incorporate it with a new wedding band. They were honest in their opinions and actually convinced me to keep the diamond ring just the way it was and just have it resized. Obviously, I could have spent way more had I gone the other route so I totally appreciated their honesty. Owner and assistant were pleasant to deal with and I never felt rushed. The ring I ordered came in late and wrong. Late because they forgot to order and wrong because they are not competant enough to fill out paperwork. So I got my engagement ring and band cleaned and resized twice with Sycamore Jewelers. I am very happy with the cleaning, I'm still deciding on whether the sizing is right with me, I think it is, I'm giving it a few days like they said. The only thing that was off about this place was the customer service. I like jokes but when it's at my expense after giving them my business...seems off. One man said that my ring might be too big because I've worked off all of the turkey from Thanksgiving. Also a comment, after the first resize, on how I look tired, all I told him was that I haven't eaten today, and he said to my fiancé that you better get some food in her to improve her mood...I think Sycamore Jewelers can have a bit more professionalism in their customer service, I promise that there are better jokes to tell to your clients. read more

When you walk in no one greets you if they are with a customer. Everyone wheres regular clothes so you dont know who to ask for service so when I did approach someone and say " Hello, who do I ask for service?" you get this. the sales rep bugs his eyes out at you with a dumb look on his face and says." Yes Yes.. You will get help in a minute" As rude as possible. Dont go in here. I went a couple times shopping for a ring and it was not a good experience at all. I was told by the sales guy in from of my girlfriend. " She is looking at the expensive ones. I hope your worth it". and" Its all about money if you got some you get a good ring if not you need to look over here in this case." Awkward. Anyways get a membership to Costco or Sams club .
