I came here tonight as a "pit stop" before Top Golf. I have only been to the location near Willowbrook, and it has never failed to deliver great food, so I expected the same from the Katy Frwy location. Service was mediocre (?) some of our orders were mixed up... My boyfriend ordered his burger patty cooked medium and it was well done, as for our other friend who ordered the patty well done, and got medium. Also, while one of my friends left to go to the restroom before paying, she said something along the lines of "did he walk out and leave?" NOT professional whatsoever! I work in customer service so maybe it was a bad night but there are things you just don't say to a customer. The reason I'm giving this an extra star more than what it deserves is because of the appetizers which were amazing! The calamari was cooked to perfection and we also ordered the Santa Fe spring rolls which were amazing as always. I hope this location exceeds in delivering great customer service soon, otherwise it will not succeed. Regardless, I lope BJ's! read more

I love BJ's. Consistently good with great service. My favorite salad is the asian chopped salad. Other items we've had are the fish and chips (yum), the calamari (awesome), crispy jalapeño burger (tasty) and the turkey burger (so tasty and a GREAT price). read more

Pre Late night hype. We walked in sat at the bar for a few waiting to be greeted. After Karina finished talking with her friend she acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything I ordered a glass of Pinot noir and my husband ordered his beer. I went to the restroom and when I came back our tab was already on the table. Lol seems like she was ready to clock out. Luckily Jeremy came to the rescue and was proper and helpful attentive and sweet. I'll rate a 5 because the I felt the food was amazing and although the service was rocky at first. Savanah the bartender at Katy, Texas Bjs Brewhouse Resturant is very thorough fast worker. She was very friendly and attentive and was very much on point. I didn't even have to ask for ketchup or mustard. She was ahead of the game on that. She is deticated worker and takes the responsibility of other workers who were clearly slacking in their duties. In regards to the food, yummmm. I love the cookies and cream pizzookie. And everything on their menu is worth trying. Their Cesar salad is so fresh and crisp, it makes your homemade salad seem bland and boring even with the same ingredients. The hand pulled turkey sub with fries is delicious, especially when you dip it in the broth like sause... Omg it makes eating a sandwich so much easier and more delicious tasting. Their happy hour is something to keep an eye out for as the best deals I think are on Monday with half price pizza and Thursday I believe was the delicious ribs deal. read more

Great place love coming here. The flat bread pizza are awesome and the ribs are excellent. But the beer is the star of the show I switch between be Jeremiah Red and the Piranha pale ale. This is one of my favorite places to go. The menu selection is quite extensive. There is a nice selection of beers. I usually start with a Brew House Blond and see where it goes from there. My favorite pizza - Gourmet Five Meat pizza with extra tomatoes , (House-made meatballs, pepperoni, oven roasted ham, smoked bacon, Italian sausage and Parmesan cheese). The extra tomatoes so the pizza is not too dry. Salad - The Seared Ahi Salad is pretty awesome. This was my first time to BJ's and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The space feels grand and elegant with a mix of casual sports bar which was nice and unique. The host was friendly and greeted me immediately to get my table information ready. The waiters were helpful in pointing out some of their favorites and did a fantastic job making sure I was attended to without having to ask first. The food was great and I didn't have to wait long...it wasn't too fast either which I'm always suspicious of because I question if it was already prepared LOL. Needless to say, I have driven by the location many times without stopping and this will definitely become my new go to place when I'm in the area. I would definite recommend it for anyone looking for a nice casual place to eat! read more

This was my first time eating here and I was impressed at first. The interior looks nice but our waitress(red braids) was not. She did not check on us while we were eating and it took forever for us to come and take our order when others had came in after us. First time to try never been to another BJ'S Spinach artichoke dip was great, mozzarella salad was great, root beer was great. Our experience was meh. Wait was way too long, especially w/ a 2 yr old. The place is you typical Bj's big & cramped, but the waitress was super sweet. One of my pet peeves is when the staff brings out new food, please take the starter plates away. Our salads were mediocre, in huge bowls & they piled up on the side as well as our artichoke dip bowl. Plus, check took forever to get & our 2 yr old was over it by then. But, our actual meals were delicious. Loved our main entrees. Okay. So this place is super over priced. So on Monday they had pizza half price. But little to be known it's the large only and they only 14" even so with the half price they are $12.75-16.50. Seriously. That's with half price. The beer selection is pretty much run of the mill with some local craft mixed in. I tried the Ziny Zany IPA supposedly the BJ Brewhouse version of a NEIPA it was not hazy at all. Maybe girl didn't bring the right beer. We had eaten here a few times when it opened and enjoyed it very much. But the last time is last time we will go back. The host DID NOT want to seat us and was very unhelpful or communicative. My husband and I walked in and here's how it went. (Note: this was a weekday evening at about 8:30 PM) Host: "Forty minutes." (No hello, no welcome, nothing.) Me: Excuse me?" Host: "Forty minutes." Me: "Are you saying there is a 40 minute wait to be seated? Host: "Yes" (My husband and I look around, confused at the nearly empty lobby and we see plenty of open tables.) Me: "But there's not even anybody waiting?" Host: "There is a huge party in the back that you can't see." We left insulted with the feeling that he just didn't like us and didn't want to seat us because that's all he said. He was a young, thin African American man who was clearly upset about something and could've cared less when we left. My team decided to have lunch together. I had a much better experience today. I ordered the Italian market flatbread. It's a thin crispy crust that has the right ratio of crust to toppings when you bite into it. And it's more filling than it looks. I posted a picture. I will definitely have it again. read more

Went to BJs with my girlfriend, we were told to sit at the bar because the bartenders made sure to get things done, Phil was the bartender for the night and he truly got stuff done! My gf didn't know what to order, drink wise, so he gave various options based on her flavor palette of the night... I have never seen my gf so content drinking alcohol so he truly did something right, our appetizers came out so quickly so I know Phil wasn't messing around when it came to our orders... it was super packed so I'm surprised the food came out at a quick time... Katy was just a pit stop on our journey but because of phil's attention to detail we will definitely be back because service here was amazing read more

Also I love so many things on the new menu the root beer glaze ribs and the tri tip sliders were awesome!! My family and I have been to this location several times now. It is usually very clean and the wait time for a table has been short. We all like the expansive menu and enjoy the handcrafted sodas (my kids' reason for going). The food has always been delicious and usually delivered as ordered. My one complaint about the restaurant is the slow or unresponsive staff. I don't know if they are overworked or just don't pay attention. I feel like we're constantly flagging someone down to refill drinks that have been empty a long time. Or grabbing other staff to address concerns/requests made to our server who disappeared and didn't come back. While all of our servers have been friendly, the service has still been lacking. I wish I could rate higher because we do enjoy the food. I think we'll try the Willowbrook location. read more

Insulting sums it up. 7:30 PM Open Table reservation and they seated us at 8:20. Manager, who didn't bother even introducing himself, simple came over and stated he get our table soon. Two in our party, who budgeted 90 minutes to share dinner, could only order, then ask for meal to be boxed to take away as it did not arrive soon enough to enjoy with us. 6 year old boy fresh from T-Ball practice, thirsty, hungry, and tired, didn't get his Children's corn dog plate until 8:41 PM, 82 minutes after our Open Table reservation and "After" all the adults were finally served. One deep dish pizza order arrived only Luke warm. Oh the waiter was accommodating, and upon exiting offered 2 Pizookie coupons for our inconvenience, but to use them, it requires another meal with a minimum meal purchase. I think not. At least not at this Katy, TX location. Truly a disappointing dining experience. read more

Terrific experience at BJ's last night. We came in with a party of 8 early Saturday evening. Warm welcome from the host and friendly bartender meant we were happy to wait for the predicted 30 minutes. However, it was only 15 minutes, which was a nice surprise. At the table we had a first rate server. He knew the menu well and was able to make great recommendations. Really good timing as to when to come over and check on drinks and satisfaction with the food. Well done David! We really appreciated your great service. Really bad service. Got sat at a dirty table, hotesses were very constant about making sure it got clean. Our server, Maria, we only saw her when we were seated, got our dessert. and then paid. Had to stare her down to get her attention. Even though we only got dessert, we are still paying for your service, we want to get treated as if we were coming in for regular dinner. At this very moment, I am here at BJ's with my family. I loathe this restaurant and only agreed to come because my kids wanted to come here. We arrived at 6:45PM and it is now 7:30PM and we have yet to receive our food. Our orders were not outrageous so I can't understand what can possibly be taking so long to deliver our food! We have been sitting here almost an hour and the only thing we have is our beverages!! It's obvious BJ's needs to hire more waitstaff. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in a long time. The worst service ever!! My family and I had a horrible experience. We had called ahead (we were a party of six) and were sat quickly. Our waiter took over five minutes to take our drink orders, ten minutes to get our drinks to us and even longer for beers. Our beers always took a long time. Our waiter blamed his fellow waitstaff for not running his beers for him. Every time a new round was brought out the pours were different. One time it looked as though someone had taken a big drink out of one. Our food took over 30 minutes, my dish was cold, all other dishes were served on very hot plates (as though they were under a heat lamp) and my sons order was wrong. We asked for a manager who came over and said he would buy us a round of beer - which we never got but were charged for. I took two bites of my food and sent it away - that food was also on the bill. This was a Thursday night. I cannot image a Friday or Saturday night. Stay away! read more

This was our second visit. The first was pretty bad. They had just opened and were packed which is fine but after waiting for a table we weren't happy to have to wait an extra long time for food and drinks. The poor waitress then got triple sat after she was already in the weeds. We also had to go ask the hostess for silverware along with all the other tables around us. But the food was great so we said we would go again after they get settled in. Went back this week. Much better. Sat in the bar lounge. Super friendly and prompt waitress. The lettuce wraps are the best out there and you must try the peach cobbler. We will be back and hope to get the same service because the food is really good read more
