Original review Disappeared... I will just post my pics and let you know "Don't waste your time". Fast food had better food and service.

As someone who got caught up in the BJ's trend on social media, I was so excited to visit since I didn't have one near home. I came on $5 pizookie day and had high hopes that were quickly shattered. Upon opening my pizookie back at my hotel, it was black and burnt. I called and spoke to management, who "couldn't do a refund but could provide me a free pizookie coupon for the next time I visit," which wasn't much help as the closest location was states away. I waited several weeks and the coupon never came anyways.

The service was really REALLY slow. Alfredo pasta was under salted and tasteless. The tomato pasta meat was really bad, not a single person could eat this tasteless mystery meat. The pizza cookie was actually kinda good, but burned.

Travis was such an angel and so helpful throughout our entire meal, he was very attentive! He made the experience feel welcoming and inviting, it was such a joy having him as our server, he went above and beyond for a refreshing restaurant experience I haven't had in years.

Manager and other workers just standing there, even though got walked past and not one time was acknowledged.

Food isn't great! And service is beyond horrible. Especially the To-Go. You'll wait a whole 20 mins before anyone comes to ask you what you need, even though they passed you 5 times. Restaurant isn't big. Even the manager doesn't care. Circled her in the picture. I waited for my to-go order a whole 20 now I see why the 2/3 star restaurant in my opinion it doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Yes this is the Katy location.

Ate the food too fast to take any pics except this mostly eaten pizza. Food was delicious. This place was pretty dead, but it was a Thursday night. Our server was a total sweetheart, super attentive and friendly. We love this spot.

    Brussel Sprouts

My last visit was one out of convenience and just wanted a couple of starters. I shared bone in wings, calamari, Brussel sprouts along with a glass of wine. As with many chains, the food came quickly so little to no wait. The wings slightly tough as if they were sitting in a partially cooked state waiting on an order to finish them. I wondered if the quality would have been better if the order had started from raw. The wine offered by the glass was surprisingly good. The calamari was nice and tender not over-cooked but lacked flavor without the sauce. I did enjoy the Brussel sprouts, just a bit too much sauce covering them. Of course, the dining room is always spacious and dimly lit but not dark. BJ's is a cool place to catch a game and have a few drinks, adjust your expectations for food.

Who doesn't love a good BJ service on a weekday afternoon? Will this family does for sure! Details: Me, the sibs, mom and the Golden Girls chose this location for the variety of food options here to celebrate our annual holiday lunch. Shella was so accommodating with making mom feel comfortable and keeping her walker close by with a table close to the entrance. Ashley, our server was great with recommendations, and even accommodated a substitute for mom's entrée that Mom found too salty for her liking. (Note: the peanut soba noodles with chicken may be a little on the salty side for those who are used to little to no salt.) I enjoyed the BJ brewhouse dip with au jus on the side and it was deliciously flavorful, slightly fatty served on some nice bread. It came with a side of coleslaw and fries. I would order again, for sure. We also ordered calamari, lemon pepper wings, and everything was hot, fresh and tasty. For dessert, we shared the pizzookie salted caramel with perfect amount of vanilla ice cream. Yum! Overall the facilities are clean, beautifully lit, and the bar is impressive looking! There are several large screens for viewing I don't remember if the volume was on. The bathroom is clean and the parking is plentiful. Between the food, service this is a five out of five for me. I think the manager who helped bring out the food, was also super approachable, and I may add a good group picture photographer! this location is among my top list for group meals since it is affordable, solid service, and readily accessible off of I-10.

    Pizooki Trio
    Ashley B.

Hello, my name is Ashley . Let's get to the review. My friend decided to treat me to a dessert at this location because we are in love with the Pazooki's. I opted for the trio so we could taste the cookies and cream one, but the main one that I ate was the strawberry shortcake. It was so delicious and it took care of my sweet tooth. I finished mine, which is the size of an actual cookie, so don't be fooled if you think the pictures is really big. It's the size of the palm of your hand. So if you're looking for a sweet treat like I was, you would love this. I'll be back to try the pizza or nachos next time because I seen a lot of people ordering those.

Half rack ribs plain baked potato the potato had nothing on it. The ribs were pretty tasty.

It was a delivery my lunch overnight. Thanks. I enjoyed the ribs so it's all good. Maybe next time.

These tables have been empty for the past hour.

We arrived at BJ's. Everybody at the table got their drinks except for one person it took over 30 minutes for him to get his cocktail then wings came out wrong. What was put on the wedge steak salad is not the same as in the picture. Another person's food came out with the wrong stuff on it. The best meal serve tonight with french fries. The waitress has not been back to check on us. We have asked for our check about 15 minutes ago and do not have it yet. Manager came over and made excuses about it being busy. But it was the least busy restaurant on the block when we arrived and it is now. I guess we know why people don't come here. Update: we got the check and they charged us for a sirloin which we had ordered, but then they came out and said they couldn't cook it cause it was gonna take too long. So we ended up ordering mediocre ribs instead. But they still charged us for the sirloin. Now we have to wait again to get this charge removed. The manager again came over and apologized because they're so busy. Let me send you a picture. 9:02: still waiting to pay and our free cookies

Stopped in for a quick bite with a friend. Ordered the spinach dip, calamari, and a mini pizza as we made it there for reverse happy hr. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and accommodating. The food was ok. The pizza was the best option. The calamari was ok it seemed to be fried in old grease. We had to send our spinach dip back as it was cold, and the chips were slightly stale. The 2nd batch was much better, but it could use a bit of salt.

During our visit, multiple food trucks and vendor booths were on-site, offering everything from homemade banana bread to cigars. While I don't typically drink a lot of beer, their black IPA was a standout--rich and dark like a stout, but finished with the crisp bitterness of an IPA. A really interesting flavor profile. When I walked up to the owner to thank him for having us, his response was completely unprofessional: "Are you kidding? This is for you, you paid for it." We came for lunch around 12 noon on a Saturday, I was expecting a packed house but it was dead. I started off with a Thai green tea. The drink had good tea flavor & it was refreshing with the right amount of sweetness. Then came the appetizers which I order their egg rolls and flight skewers. The egg rolls came out piping hot but very uninspiring. They didn't provide really any veggies for the egg rolls and the sauce was beyond simple. I'll say that it was my least favorite dish. Then I got to try their Skewers which was quite delicious. The chicken was seasoned nicely, I just wanted more char on it. The shrimp was a little overcooked and was the least flavored. The pork was packed with flavor and very lemongrass forward. My favorite was their beef, such high quality meat that is tendered and melt in your mouth. Felt like I was eating a filet mignon on a stick. For our mains I got the banh canh cua & my friend got their pho. The broth was delicious and had a strong crab flavor. They were also not stingy on the meats either. The noodles could've been more firm. My friend pho was fine, the broth needed more oomph. But the brisket and filet mignon was beyond tender. I'm grateful that they use high quality meat to make up for that broth. I mean it wasn't terrible just not that good. Overall, I'll definitely come back again. This is a good spot to dine for lunch or dinner.
