Great drinks and a one of a kind atmosphere in the heart of Katy. Service is off the charts fun and knowledgeable.

The structure is the exact same as it was when it was a functional rice mill in the early 1900s.

It's a historical place in Katy and it's very unique and has kept the place as authentic as possible. It's such a nice location with really fun events that cater to families, kids, adults, young and old. It's too cool of a place to miss out on. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once.

Super excited this place is open again, great space to hang out or have events. Fun drinks and lots of flavored vodka options to try. Great conversations with the bartender manger. Looking forward to coming again!

Nice outdoor bar area. The fans and shaded bar made for a comfortable setting even if it is hot out. All the cocktails were great that we tried. Julep and old-fashioned were the standouts. They don't have it on their menu, but they do offer flights so you can sample each of the spirits they make.

"Welcome home" is typically what you hear when you step inside. The owners are always so welcoming and the bartenders are always serving up something yummy. When you walk in, you go through a covered area to the bar and the sitting area, which is covered, but open. The tables are spaced apart enough to make you feel comfortable, so you can enjoy your drinks without getting accidentally elbowed by anyone consuming too much moonshine. My family frequents this place around twice a month and we love it because my kids can play the games they have there while the adults drink and they're still close enough for us to watch and make sure they're okay. I also love the fact that it's one of the few places I have felt okay with going during covid. I haven't been inside of a bar or eaten inside of a restaurant since last March and this place makes me forget about the pandemic for a few hours. You get to get out of the house and be around others in a safe setting and that's such a great feeling! There's normally a yummy food truck and some sort of live entertainment since they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays, so stop by and grab a box car punch or a wassail/apple cider with cinnamon moonshine and get a bite to eat from one of the yummy food trucks. You'll have a good time knowing you're supporting a local business and you'll be happy because you're drinking some delicious liquor.

It was my first time checking out the distillery this weekend and I liked it! There is a lot of room for everyone to sit outside. The drinks are very strong. I had one and I had to slow down right after that. There was a food truck in the back that you can order food from if you're hungry. I look forward to coming back again!

MKT is a distillery which is about taste, ambience and experience. If you are a whiskey drinker, then definitely do not miss out their specially aged whiskey called "Engineer". The distillery is located right in the middle of Rice Silos of Katy which is definitely a Historical location. The staffs are very friendly and the owner Nicky and Nick are very knowledgeable. Good selection of cocktails they have.

What a cool place that is preserving this area's history! We tasted all the different varieties and bought a bottle to take home. This is some of my favorite local bourbon. All the liquor was very good and unique. Ask for a tour and you get to see how they make it, all the best history of the silos and the giant scales. It's really neat! It's a good atmosphere and the people are so friendly. Will be back to support!

Seafood boils (of course), fried platters, Chinese food, creole, and more i forgot to name. I was overwhelmed by what to order in a good way because everything sounded delicious. Our whole table got the Boudin Balls, Fried catfish platter, and the Combo 2, which was crab legs, potato, corn, and shrimps. The boil was delicious, I love a juicy spicy flavorful boil, and bby that was definitely that. they did they big one on everything. it was well seasoned and very good. im definitely going back cause they ate down.

Some friends had the ceviche oysters that I didn't try but it looked like pico on oysters. The calamari app was good lots of parm and thicker breading, different than most. I had the dirty rice and it wasn't my favorite, tasted like I make at home but with thicker chunks of celery that threw me off, flavor was good though. Had the garlic parm wings flats which came wet which I was excited for but the skin kept separating from the wing, the meat was good. My friends got the crawfish which looks bomb if your into crawfish and the fixing. Service was really good, top notch atmosphere so I would go back and just get something different. Give it a try

The THAI BASIL was the ONE it had a unique taste that you don't expect when eating crawfish but it tf WORKS. Let's get into these eggs. They were just past ramen eggs. I didn't recall anything bad about the place, and given the rave reviews since then, I thought it was time to return. Based on reviews, we showed up early on a Friday evening (~5 pm). Even at that time, it was mostly full, but we were able to snag seats at the bar, which is first come first serve. We ordered the "regular" grilled oysters (5/5), which were anything but regular, as they were topped with peanuts and a really great flavor. I'd get these again. Fair warning, these take 20 minutes to come out, which I didn't mind, but I did not realize that they would not bring us anything else until after the oysters since these are considered an app. I thought they'd just bring things out as they were ready. This meant, we did not get our crawfish until we were already sitting there for an hour. About halfway into the wait for the crawfish (after the oysters), the fried rice (1/5) showed up, and I have to say, it was underwhelming. It came out room temperature, which to me is cold, and I thought this was just how they do it. Except 15 minutes later, the seats next to us got their fried rice, and it came out piping hot. You could still see the steam coming off of it. Besides being cold, I didn't think the fried rice was that good in terms of flavor. I also generally prefer the short grain rice, and this was more of a long grain. Once the crawfish showed up, we were well past an hour, so we dove right into it. Both the garlic butter and combo mix were great flavor - some of the best I've had in Houston. However.... it made me remember why we did not return. About 20% of the crawfish were TINY. And by tiny, I mean they were smaller than my pinky finger. Maybe I'm a crawfish snob, but at this time of the season, there should not be that many tiny crawfish. Maybe a few small ones, but not tiny. Crawfish flavor = 5+/5, crawfish quality = 2/5, crawfish cook = 3/5. Then I made the mistake of ordering a cluster of snow crab. That took another 30+ min to come out, and it was again room temperature. The service at the bar was fine (4/5), but the kitchen service (1/5) is not something I want to experience again, especially not for the crawfish quality/size. Yes, the flavor was amazing, but I'm not fighting for a table for lukewarm food and 30 min wait time for each dish. The pricing was some of the lowest I've seen ($8.99/lb crawfish), but I'd rather pay $1 more at other places for the quality.

This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

We opted for the chargrilled oysters and deviled eggs with shrimp for appetizers, scallops, ettoufe , and asparagus with jumbo lump crab for entrees. All the food was still the excellent quality provided on many of my visits. Half way through the meal and prior to our entrees coming, a party of 8 arrived and I asked if we could move to a vacant table along the back windows to give the group more space and the staff graciously accommodated us and helped us move.
