While we were up in Tulsa running a pet errand after my dermatologist appointment, we started talking about dinner choices and what we wanted to pick up to take home. So after surfing the restaurant apps on our phones, we decided on BJ'S Brewhouse, since it was in the direction we were headed. My husband decided on the gluten free chocolate chip pizzookie with vanilla ice cream and BJ'S Wagyu Burger(with lettuce removed) with White Cheddar mash potatoes. I decided on the BJ'S sampler with spinach artichoke dip and boneless honey bbq wings. My dessert choice was the smores pizzookie with vanilla bean ice cream. When we received our order we checked everything and pulled into a spot to have the ice cream and did some people watching while l7atening to tge radio before we headed back to hunker down for the night, while the weather rolls through. I ended up splitting my meal in two parts cause there was so much(so lunch tomorrow) I was kind of disappointed that there was no marinara side for the cheese sticks, or ranch for the wings, and the fact you forgot the utensils when I had requested them. You need to learn to read the order thoroughly, and double check it before your customer comes to pick it up. The little time you take to double check the order and read it thoroughly is the difference between a great experience and a meh experience for you and your customer. I've read the reviews... but had to give it a shot! I've been to other BJ's in other cities and loved it, so I had to give it a try. I just an appetizer, Korean Sticky Ribs, and an Arnold Palmer. Guys, they were good! The ribs had really good flavor and were meaty for small ribs. The slaw was good too! And it's hard to find a place that makes a good Arnold Palmer... they did it perfectly! Visited for a friend's birthday on a Monday, right around 6pm. Waited 30 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was empty (minimal staff we assumed). We were patient with our server, who expressed he was still fairly new. Start to finish, dinner took 2 hours. And he messed up a lot, but we remained patient. The wait staff uses iPad-type devices to take your order, but things still came out wrong when the food arrived even after he repeated everything back to us. Things were also missing throughout the meal, or the wrong things were delivered, like so much we thought we were being pranked. BJ's food never disappoints! I take my kids there because the menu has such a variety of tasty items, we can order and enjoy something new each time. They have a NON Spirited section of the drink menu that included a cool drink made with gummy eye-balls that my kids order each time! I get the Unlucky Duck served in a bathtub with a floating duck. We enjoyed the Jumbo pretzel and Avocado Egg roll appetizers! While waiting on our main entrees - we pulled out the UNO cards for a friendly competition. Once our entrees came - everyone focused on their amazing meals. We ordered the steak, the salmon, the Jambalaya and a burger and sampled each dish. These items are a bit pricey but certainly worth it. The atmosphere is set with lots of TV's focused on all sports. There is a patio with fans and flames so you can enjoy it year round. This time we went around 4pm on a Thursday and it was mostly empty, but the hostess made us wait a few minutes before taking us to a table because they were having a shift change. Was in town on a business trip and went I for dinner and to watch the basketball game. After being seated in the bar area, took roughly 10-15 mi to be acknowledged. We have made it here several times now. I like the vast selection of menu items to choose from. This time I got the hickory brisket and bacon burger. Although messy this was a very good burger especially if you are a meat lover. My wife got the New Orleans Jambalaya which tasted very good since they are not a cajun restaurant. The restaurant is big enough for large groups but still small enough to feel at home with a couple of people. My only regret is it seems they are always out of a dish each time we go, this trip it was the fried mac and cheese balls. read more

We walked in just after 2:00, and we didn't leave until almost 3:30. The hostess at the door was very friendly, and the dining room was nice and clean and open. That said, service was incredibly slow. There were only 12 tables with people and multiple servers, but it was so slow! I had the fish tacos. They were very flavorful- the slaw and sauces were good, the tortillas were slightly toasted- that part was great. My issue with them was actually the napkins: they are cloth and not at all absorbent, so the mess just sits on the fabric. That could just be a me problem though, so that doesn't change my rating. My husband had the fried chicken sandwhich. It was a huge piece of chicken and the flavor was really good. He said it was a little over cooked, but he enjoyed it. My son had the kids' deep dish pizza. He loved it. The food is a little pricey for the experience though. Kind of bummed. Food was good and everything but had a party of 8 people, server was rolling her eyes the whole time, when we got our check she didn't tell us their would be the gratuity and then when I payed for the full check I wasn't expecting her to count the money out loud to me in front of the whole table. We came in for desserts and drinks and asked to sit outside, where there were clearly several empty tables available. We were refused without a clear explanation and instead directed to a table at the far end of the restaurant. What made this especially concerning was that other guests were being seated in better, more central areas and by the windows with nice views, while we were pushed to a less desirable spot. The contrast in how we were treated compared to others was hard to ignore. This experience felt discriminatory and left us feeling unwelcome. At a minimum, the seating policy seemed inconsistent and unfair. No guest should feel singled out or treated differently when there are open tables available. I would strongly urge management to review how customers are being seated and ensure that all guests are treated with fairness and respect. In addition, we were halfway through the food when we were brought the bill to pay. read more

There is parking around this stand alone restaurant which is steps away from Woodland Hills mall. It wasn't super busy when we arrived so we were seated quickly. Feeling disappointed. The wedge salad was bland... a lot of red onions and tomatoes. Honestly compared to all the other Wedge salads I've had in the past... it was boring. The pizza looked good, but when you go in to eat it... very light on the sauce and was just "ok". Again heavy on the raw red onions. My son had the fried chicken and that was really tasty, rich and good. I wish I would have ordered that. I think the thing that disappointed the most was I built up how they made in-house root beer and drinks to my son. So he ordered a Ginger Beer. He asked if the Ginger Beer was brewed and made there on location, The waiter wasn't sure if it was brewed there or not. I feel like the employees should probably know that information since it is a brewery. When it came out it was flat. When I tasted my Pepsi, it was flat as well. I usually love BJ's. I went to lunch with a friend and had an awful experience. We went for the 13$ lunch and Pizookie deal and got lunch, the restaurant was empty but it took forever to get food (like 30+mins). Our waiter was very friendly and apologetic but the experience was not great and the food was subpar. The chicken in the chicken Parmesan tasted tough and frozen. But this was not even the worst part. We called in as they were doing a deal for the Biscoff Pizookie to be sure they still had it and the host confirmed they still did. This was 90% of the reason we even came. We ate and everything and ordered the Biscoff which was a 5$ upgrade but my friend really wanted it so we payed it, just to find out the Biscoff Pizookie was no longer available. The upgrade was still on our ticket and no visit from a manger or anything. We love BJ's and I was so excited to see there is a location in Tulsa. We went after a concert on a Saturday night since they are open late (12am). There were about 6 other tables seated when we arrived, and we were seated immediately. The host was very friendly and chatted as he led us to a table. It took almost 5 minutes before our server came to our table and got our drink order. She was friendly but throughout the whole meal it was hard to get her attention and we waited a long time for her to return to take our order and to bring the dessert, then the check. I am assuming b/c she was getting ready to close up and was cleaning, but we felt ignored. The food took almost 45 minutes, which was crazy long with two kids meals and a salad. The food, though, was absolutely delicious. The steak wedge salad was one of the best I have ever had, and my kids loved their pastas and fruit too. Of course, we had to get the pizzokie for dessert, and it was amazing and plenty big enough to share. Overall, BJ's in Tulsa is a nice, clean restaurant with friendly employees. They have good prices, a great rewards program, and a big food and drink menu with a large selection. However, if they are busy or it is late, be prepared to wait. I enjoyed the cool, kick back ambiance of BJ's, I gave that a star. BUT! the main dishes, ugh, not worthy of much, but ONE star. I feel Tulsa needs to step it up here! Amazing does not even begin to describe the delicious food at BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant. I ordered delivery and will undoubtedly order again. Our order consisted of mozzarella sticks, BJ's Classic Rib-Eye cooked Medium Well, Piranha Pale Ale Chili and Creamy Couscous Mac Cheese with Bacon, Crispy Jalapeno Burger with fries, Kids' Chicken Tenders with Happy Face Potatoes, a Cookies 'n' Cream Pizookie, and a Triple Chocolate Pizookie. We also were able to get a free shareable pizza by using the coupon for a free Sharable Pizza With $25 Purchase and a Free Pizookie for signing up for the rewards program. Host was sitting on a chair and on her phone when we came in, she got up to clean a table for us. Which tells me my wait time could be shorter if she had not been on her phone and had a table ready. I then waited on my table for 8 minutes before getting someone to come and offer drinks. I ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium rare. Came out burnt. I'm not exaggerating, it was black on the outside and tough to cut, it was past extra well done. Could not be any more dry. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Any additional items, like ketchup, had to be requested. Also, we were never offered a refill on drinks. It took 45 minutes for our food to be delivered. The table behind our table was complaining about service when they left. This was the end of the lunch hour after 1:30, so it really was not busy. Ate here for the first time ever on Easter Sunday, for a late lunch, with our son and his girlfriend, around 2pm. Got seated right away, since it wasn't a busy rush time. Immediately noticed what a cool interior this restaurant has, with the keg storage above the entrance, and roll up glass garage doors, yet it was still very classy inside. Ordered the sampler appetizer, which was more food than 4 of us could eat as an app. For entrees, we all ordered different things (2 had burgers, one had a club sandwich and I had a salad). I'm a fan of BJ's, been to many all over the country. OKC, Nashville, Denver, etc. This location has the same great atmosphere and food but they just opened and there is a huge learning curve. I think they had been open maybe three weeks when my sister and I came here. We will have to go back again after the newness settles. I had a California chicken flatbread and she had a hamburger. Both were good! We had the avocado egg rolls for appetizer and those are just fantastic at every location. We enjoyed their anniversary beer while we were there. It's a very good choice. Reminds me a lot of a tripel. Service was good but our waitress had a trainee with her and he was clueless. Maybe in a month he will be good.
