Wagyu meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans
    Josh P.

Searched for places with good reviews near the Tulsa airport and came across this place. Had about a 20 minute wait at 7 pm, so we opted to sit at the bar. We were greeted immediately and given menus. Took a few minutes to get our drink order as the bartender was quite busy. I ended up getting the wagyu meatloaf, which came with mashed potatoes and green beans. Beans and mash were pretty good. The meatloaf was a bit different tasting. It was good, just didnt taste like a normal meatloaf. If youre looking for the classic meatloaf taste, I wouldnt recommend. If you want a modern take on a classic dish, then I'd definitely recommend.

We got right in at lunch hour on a Saturday and had fabulous service. The smoked trout salad is no longer on the menu, but Victor hooked-me-up with the smoked salmon salad and their famous Maple-Tabasco dressing. It was amazing! The French toast was probably deep-fried which isn't classic and was average. The burrito had extra large chunks of deep-fried potatoes in it which made it in-edible. It's like they took old potato skins and snuck it into the breakfast burrito. Now, the biscuits and gravy was a hit and quickly devoured! Overall, I would stick to their standard menu and would skip the Brunch items. This is a beautiful restaurant and has a great menu with something for everyone!

Went here for a birthday celebration and it was great. Very nice decor and atmosphere that felt elegant. Only complaint was the 2 giant tvs in the main dining room that took away from the elegant feel. Had the bacon jam and goat cheese to start. It was great but the baguette should have been toasted to hold the jam and cheese mixture. Had the chicken breast and gnocchi and it was very good. Had the smoked Mac and cheese on the side and it had a great Smokey flavor and was very saucy. Also got the Parmesan fries. The fries were too flimsy to dip into the garlic aioli. Partner had the ribeye with the chipotle béarnaise which is a must. Also the bread was hit and miss. One basket was soft and the next basket was hard as a rock. But the butter was delicious. Dessert was unfortunately lack luster. Had the chocolate tort or tart and it was too dense and not enough flavor profiles in the dish to offset the heavy chocolate flavor. Overall great food and experience.

I usually always get one of the pastas. Just wanted something different and to branch out. Ordered the green chili and a side of Brussels sprouts. Weird I know but I wanted to try some of the sides. The green chili was amazing! It was definitely a dinner portion. The Brussels sprouts were OK. When I got the combo of sprouts, apples and bacon, it was a win. Only concern was that they were a little cold. I'm going to explore the other sides on the next visit. Hostess/manager could not have been more friendly or helpful! Smoke is always a great spot and lucky we have them in Owasso!!!

Grilled oysters...wasn't a big fan since they were raw but warm w/o horseradish.

Service is always top notch! Love the ambiance & food is always great. Immediately you're greeted when passing into the big front doors with a smile & taken to your seat. Wait staff always has great suggestions & they are friendly too. Smoke doesn't have a stuffy high dollar steakhouse feel, it's very relaxed and the booths are high backed, romantic & private. They do run lunch specials on certain days so be sure & check out their website!

Always a great meal. I think it says a lot that my husband who adores steak chooses to get meatloaf here. It's one of his very favorites. I must say Stephanie, the GM, is a blessing. The few rare times we have had a hiccup here she always handles it with grace and ensures we are taken care of. Tonight I asked her to move us away from a very noisy and rowdy large group. Even though it was NYE and they were clearly very booked, she took the time to accomplish this for us and helped ensure we had a great meal. I love having such a great restaurant so close to home.

Went with the seafood pasta and it totally hit the spot. The shrimp and clams tasted fresh and the garlic white wine sauce brought everything together. Pasta wasn't overcooked, which I appreciated. It had that homemade feel and was super satisfying. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Would come back again just for this dish alone.

Loved the pasta here! The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The creamy sauce was so comforting without being too heavy. The restaurant had a nice casual feel, and the staff was really welcoming.

I go to Smoke every so many months depending on my mood and it's never let me down. I went for a solo night before hanging with friends and it was mood match that I needed before socializing. Nonetheless I never order meatloaf at restaurants but this was a shot in the dark and I was highly impressed. It was hearty, filling and full of flavor. The drink was great. I forgot the name of it but it hit the spot.

Food and service were fantastic. They generously accommodated our request for a lunch menu item despite it being brunch. They made our anniversary great.

We had ribs and pulled pork for the meats and mac and cheese, corn on the cob and baked beans for the sides. Some of us cleaned our plates and for those who couldn't we boxed it up. The ribs are tender and delicious and this barbecue spot does sliced toasted bread instead of putting just a slice of white bread like some BBQ spots. We enjoyed the food and the wonderful customer service. Trails End was really good!

It is exactly as it is described on the menu, "tender and juicy." A large order of this to go, would complement that thanksgiving dinner. Ribs and that turkey were on my plate, with baked beans and slaw. The sides here are very good. The ribs big and meaty, perfect texture. They use a slightly sweet rub with a hint of cinnamon. Me, not a big fan of the rub, but that is just my preference. The pit master does know how to smoke meat. Brisket next time. Great friendly service. The menu is online.

This past weekend, I was in Oklahoma and stopped by Billy Sims BBQ with my family. This is an order-at-the-counter place with self-serve drinks. I told the guy who took my order that I am celiac and he instinctively grabbed a piece of bread to put in the toaster, caught himself and asked me if I wanted him to change gloves. He and the manager told me that their potato salad, their meats and their sauces are gluten-free! Aside from their $5.99 sandwich and drink deal which is an amazing value but not gluten-free (my husband ordered it for himself) we got a few items to share with family. For $21.99 we got a 3 meat plate which came with 2 sides, pickles, peppers, onions and a slice of bread (obviously I didn't get bread.) I chose the polish sausage, sliced brisket and pulled pork along with double potato salad. My other family members ordered the $12.99 smothered baked potato (jacket potato) that comes with butter, sour cream, cheese, chives, meat, sauce. They wanted to split it so the potato pictured is only half of the potato! It's huge! This is a casual restaurant chain owned by a former local footballer, and there are locations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan in the USA. While the brisket was a tad dry for my tastes, I enjoyed all the sauces, the other meats and sides. The service was great and the price was a fantastic value. Visited: April 2024

Decided to just do some BBQ research in Owasso.... so today I headed to Billy Sim's BBQ for lunch…read more I ordered the 2 meat dinner with pulled pork and bologna, beans and potato salad, water to drink. Ordering is simple and not at all confusing. Read from a simple menu, place your order and get in the line to the cash register. Honestly the dude behind the counter was less than congenial, but it didn't impact my lunch or my review. Food was ready soon enough, given the 5 people ahead of me, so I count that as speedy enough. Food, in tasting order.... The toast.... definitely not the star of the plate. Texas toast instead of regular sliced, so it was more dense and chewy, and only toasted on one side. Who does that? And it wasn't hot or fresh. You could tell it'd been toasted and held for a while. But, you don't go to a BBQ joint for the toast, so that is what it is. The beans.... BS does what they call 'cowboy beans', and they're good, if not a little one-note. Basically they were canned pork and beans with some meat thrown in and a splash or two of BBQ sauce. I doubt they'd seen the inside of a smoker. They were fine, but they could have been oh so much more with just a little time and effort. The potato salad.... tender, creamy and packing a subtle but noticeable tang. I wouldn't call it outstanding, but it was a definite addition to the plate. The pulled pork... while having a moderate smoky flavor, it was also dry, lacking any of that fatty, juicy mouth feel that a good pulled pork should have. And, it got cold really quickly, so I suspect their holding process needs to be tweaked. You can hold pulled pork for a good long time without it drying out if you make the effort. The few bits of bark I got were outstanding, they were just few and far between. The bologna... sliced sandwich thin, there were at least 2 slices. It was pretty well done.... good taste, texture and mouth feel. I felt a little miffed at how thin it was sliced, but I readily admit that's just me. When I do it at home, it's sliced nearly 1/2" thick so you get a good bite. Again, not a detraction here, just an observation. The meats are 1/4lb each, clearly stated when you order, so you know what you're getting. Personally, I think the portions were a bit light for the money, but I don't run a restaurant and I'm not privy to BS's P&L statements, so that will just remain an opinion and nothing more. Cost ran to $19.51 for lunch, which is about a buck more than OJ's, but I also got a tad more food and it was a whole lot better, so I think value wise, BS nosed out a win on that score.
