I did a pickup order and included in that order was an $8 bag of apples...7 apples. when I got home, I noticed that my trunk was noticeably wet and when I picked up the bag of apples, rotten juice was running from the bag...smell and all! I immediately called the store and asked for a credit of $2, since one apple was completely rotten and another one has rotten spots on it. I was told I would have to bring the apples back to get an exchange or refund. Really?!? Cause clearly gas and time are free! I let them know I borrowed a car for pickup because my car is in the shop and the answer was "just come back when you get a chance"; this message was delivered by a young lady who could not make any decision; it came from someone in "authority". So, I'm supposed to save a couple rotten apples and bring them back one day, for an exchange or refund...got it. I asked to speak to the person who made this decision and the call got mysterious...dropped. I've been a customer of BJs, Conyers location for many years. The question is, will I continue to be?!? I checked ont my car and ask the attendant about leaving my car, AGAIN I was told my car would be fine, wasn't in way of pumps. Monday , after work, went by BJ's ( car was to be towed) Attendant wasn't available ( note said pay at pump. On window. ) no attendance available. Not one time was I told to speak with manager inside. After all that communication. Went by BJ's after work and learned my car had been towed by BJ's manager. This location is severely understaffed. It took me over an hour to get 10 items purchased. The cashier couldn't assist me with a coupon, so she sent me to the customer service desk where there was only one employee working. Someone was having a challenge with their membership or something because it took over 30 minutes for them to be assisted and moved along. The kicker was the employee never looked up from her computer to tell those of us standing in line that she would right with us; or to acknowledge us at all. That was highly disappointing and frustrating. I did tell her this when I finally got to the front of the line. She assisted me, apologized, and sent me back to the register with my issue fixed. Only it wasn't fixed, so I had to go back to customer service again and wait in line again. By this time, I'm hotter than fish grease. She saw me and asked what happened and I told her the coupons still weren't showing up on my account. This time she checked me out and honored the coupons. I was appreciative. Haven't been out much due to the pandemic so working on getting back into the groove. Went to BJs and here is how it went: Parking: They have a parking lot attached so ample parking. Greeter: The greeter had sanitizing station and normal procedure for entering store Inside: It was nice. Very open, social distancing signs, and a great selection of food! Everything seemed to be in stock. Paper towels and toilet paper were high priced but nothing out of the ordinary during a pandemic! Had a great experience at this BJs and plan to go again. read more

Prices are good and definitely a great place for paper items or toiletries. Meats are good, as well as produce. The meat I can separate, but some of the produce can't be split up & frozen. Still less than grocery stores or drug stores for most items, if you're ok buying in bulk. read more

LOVE BJ's! They always have exactly what I'm looking for and more. I like how easy it is to find things, the store is super organized and makes it easy to shop. One thing I love about this location is that they're the only ones that carry Planet Oat extra creamy oat milk. So I will be coming here for that as long as they keep carrying it! read more

To begin, I've been a member of BJ'S since the doors opened in College Point, Queens, NY. Before that we had to drive all the way to Long Island. A member of COSTCO since it was built on 3rd Ave. in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY. THE 90'S!!! I now live in Georgia, less than 5 miles from BJ's. Yet, after dealing with the teeth sucking, huffin n puffin, slow as bug in a rug Manager Anika last night I'm more inclined to take my business 26 miles one way to Costco where the customer service is pleasant and above and beyond what it should be, given the Covid times we are in. The last 5 times I've been to this location to shop, there's always been a cause for confusion and dissatisfaction. Last night was just the ultimate. Not ONE register open. ALL lines self service. Unruly children running around. One in particular ran up to the register as I was checking out. The grandmother or whoever had to scream at him to get him away. What type of bs is this. Social distancingbat the register in this store, nil and laughable. The people working here really don't care about customer service. They put items in places that do not correlate to the stickers. Perfect example, the Keurig. The sticker said, $59.99, doesn't correlate to the item being sold. The sales Associate tells me it's old, that's not my problem, honor it. She goes on to say, were suppose to honor it and if there was any other Manager on duty she would. Again, not my problem. It should've been honored regardless of the Mgr. lazy stank attitude. Now I'm at the register. The machine won't accept my NFCU credit card. When you know there's sufficient money on your credit card and the machine is telling you to use another card there's a problem. So I phone Navy Federal Customer Service. There's NO fraud alert on my card. It's a BJ's issue. After almost 45 minutes of back and forth with the Associate, NFCU Rep. on phone, the store Mgr. slowly walks over sucking her teeth and huffin and puffin, like she's the one that's spending my damn $548. The customer service rep. from NFCU, has to tell the Associate to try another register, it's not a problem on Navy Federal's end because they're aren't showing an attempt for purchase or a fraud detection. The Manager keeps telling the NFCU Rep. to send an authorization code. The NFCU Rep. kept saying, if the card was locked then she could send an authorization code but my card isn't locked so she can't. Then I guess a light bulb came on in the BJ'S Mgr. head and she says, okay your card went through. I'm highly pissed by now. The way the Mgr. and sales Associate handled the entire situation left me calling the Mgr. out on her nasty attitude. The sales associate is rubbing her shoulder telling her to take a deep breath and calm down while she's upset at the fact she can't figure out why my card isn't going through and there's not a problem on my end. I'm the one she should've been telling to calm down. I stood up there and spent my money in pain and agony. Neither one of them were even considerate to give me the Keurig at the price it was under. Kept trying to sell me the one for $139.00. So you made the coward move and took the sign down, but not before I took pictures. Then told me you couldn't give it to me at that price. BS! If I wasn't in so much pain, I would've returned everything walking out the door but the customer service line was long too. SMH! Let me keep driving the 26 miles to Costco. Save myself the headache of poor customer service. BJ's you need a total overhaul, from Management on down. Or just close down! IT'S MY MONEY, I SHOULD HAVE THE ATTITUDE!! I feel like getting rid of my BJ'S card! The tire dept. is Just as bad. I purchased 4 Goodrich tires ($700) in January 2020 for my Expedition, I brought back 1 tire back 3 months later with the receipt. I couldn't understand why the tire had gone flat. Come to find out it had a shop nail in it. I'm thinking it was punctured from the time I purchased the tires because the vehicle had only gone from BJ'S to my home. Ok, the tire couldn't be plugged etc, anything. I needed a new tire. Clearly the tire hadn't gone more than 10 miles. I waited 4 months for that 1 tire and then was charged $71. for it. I want my money back. I went into this Tire shop on no less than 10 times asking when my tire would be in. At one time the Mgr. Mike, said, oh I was suppose to call you. This BJ's location is good. Parking is always open. Service is consistently good. Some selection is inconsistent. We found a good brand of soup and we went back next time and it's gone and no one knows if or when it will return. Meat buys are our favorite here. Pork is decent and reasonable - better than Sam's club. Ribeye are our next favorite buy - thick and thick and decent price. Ground beef is good. Cooks into burgers without dumping lots of water (sign they do not use water when grinding just to increase weight). Lots of deals on TV's. We like this store for meat - half as expensive as Publics and Kroger and fresher. A strong recommendation. read more

Costco will always be number one for me; however, BJs holds a solid second place as Sam's is just another Walmart. I've been a member with them since 1990 as they were the first in the northeast before Costco emerged. The difference between them and their warehouse competitors (& advantage in some cases) is BJs has a limited gourmet section. However, what one does get are more well-known, everyday, popular products in economy sizes that are larger than what is found in a Walmart, per se. As my alternative to the grocery store it has become a regular stop for me as it is more convenient than driving to Dunwoody or Morrow for Costco. read more

Arrived at appointed time for curbside pickup order and checked in on the app as instructed. Waited in my vehicle over 45 minutes at which time noticed another patron who had arrived after me go in and come back out with his order , he said he had to go inside and get it himself. I then go inside and while heading to service desk I notice a cart with my items just sitting there. I asked to speak with a manager and this associate tells me she came out and I wasn't there ( which was a lie) Manager claims to have seen her go out and I asked him why did the other patron have to come in and get his order. He just looked at me with a dumbfounded look on his face and had nothing to say. All youngsters working without anyone with sense in charge. read more

Here's what I like about BJ's Warehouse Club: + You don't have to show your membership card to get in the door. + They sell items in non-bulk sized quantities. You don't have to buy a gallon bucket of something when you really just want a snack sized container. + They have a deli just like at the grocery store where you can get sliced sandwich meat and cheeses. + They have a decent wine selection. + They have cheap gas. + They have self checkouts (yes!). I go here once a week to do the majority of my grocery shopping. I prefer BJ's over the other large warehouse chains because of its proximity, value, & service is ok. Went to get a new membership. I was told be the customer service representative of a year end special. I specifically asked if it was automatically renewed at the end of the year at the regular price. I was told no. After the purchase, I read the fine print on the receipt and she is either poorly trained or she blatantly lied. When I asked her about it, she immediately circled the number for me to call to end the annual membership next year. She told me I couldn't revert to the regular membership. Lies lies lies and rudeness to boot. BJ's is all that's available here. It will suffice but I sure wish we could get a Costco out here. I am a customer of this BJ's location and my husband and I visit this store probably once a week to purchase our groceries and veggies. Not happy with them, however, today is our 4th anniversary, and my husband wanted to give me a piece of jewelry. We thought maybe getting it from BJ's would be more in our budget. When we got there we went directly to the jewelry counter and as always there wasn't an attendant there. My husband walked up to a cashier who redirected him to a lady who was walking by the self check out lines. My husband approached the lady who responded to him very nicely, had an ample smile on her face and was very willing to help him until she saw me. Her entire attitude changed, her smile turned off, and she didn't even looked at my husband directly anymore. She said (looking at the floor while turning away) I have not clocked in yet so I will get someone else to take care of you. My husband is black and I am Hispanic. This isn't the first time or the first place black females have been rude to us, but I have to say this is a place of business and they owe the courtesy and respect to their customers to be treated equally regardless of race, color, age, gender, nationality or sexual preference. Their opinions or feelings about a mix couple should not be displayed verbally, by attitude or body language. This is disturbing, particularly because they are all quick to complain about racism, but they have absolutely no problem displaying it against anyone else who doesn't look like them. How would this look if the situation was reverse? I am sharing my customer experience, the human interaction and my personal feelings, all which are important to me. This is not about the products they sell, how neat the facility is, or how clean the parking lot looks. BJ's has always maintained high standards regarding these matters, but, I can find the same in Sam's Club and Costco without the attitude thus we are switching. It will be a long month before membership expires and we can start in another business. read more

Prayfully, this wasn't some sort of lucky break. I like to get in and out. I chucked at the self-checkout. I'd never seen one of those in my usual warehouse store. Kudos BJ! I come to B.J.'s every 2 weeks and I cant think of a time when I ever had an issue with bad produce or poor service. We even bought our glasses from here. You can use coupons, and I also love their Smoked Turkey deli meat... Its the best ever. They cut it for you. They also have fresh rotisserie chickens. I love that they sell items without needing a pump or handle. I dont want mayo with a pump! They are more for the average family. read more

I chose to order online and pickup at the store. My order pickup time was 5-6pm. After arriving to the store at 5:45pm, the order was not ready. I then called the store to inform them that I was outside. After 4 attempts of which they hung up on me with each, I entered the store to inform them I was there to pickup my order. When meeting with the associate in pickup, she informed me that my order was still processing and they had not begun to pull any of the items. It is now after 6pm. She told me to give her 20 minutes to pull the items. Almost one hour later, I asked that the order be cancelled and asked to speak to a manager. The manager never showed up, the cashier said she couldn't cancel my order because they had it ready. So then I go to pick up my order only to find 2 items missing of which I had been charged for. After complaining, I received a refund for the 2 items. I then left the store never to return to this location. Bad experience today and I am a frequent shopper. read more

I shop BJ'S pretty often. They never have enough cashiers. So if you're planning on shopping there, may SURE you have time, because the checkout time is off the chain. They Got the majority of Sam's Club customers which in the beginning made them step up their game. But in recent months BJ's has become slack. You need more than one or two cashiers. Get it together. if you haven't notice, Sam's customers are starting to make the drive to Sam's. Its well worth it. read more
