As far as the store being well stocked and clean generally speaking that's a given. Prices are better on most things than GFS so that's an added bonus. The part where they lose 2 stars in my review is the parking debacle that happens every time the minions wanna save 2$ on filling their gas tanks. These imbeciles are bumper to bumper and take zero consideration for the fact they are blocking the entrances/exits to the parking lot. Bjs should have put more thought into placement of the pumps. It would make far more sense to put them before the entrances/exists to the store therefore eliminating the braindead corpses From blocking them. Most people are either self absorbed, stupid or a combination of both, businesses need to take that into consideration. read more

I have no issue with the service inside the store. But I give this location a low score because of their parking lot. No stop signs anywhere in the parking or gas parking areas. People drive like maniacs that have no common sense on speed limit or right of way. I'm curious as to how many accidents happen in this location. I'm considering canceling my membership and not even coming to the store anymore until that is fixed. Costco and Sam's Club has a little more organization in their parking lots with plenty of stop signs. And better traffic control. read more

Nice clothing lady with red hair always helps me find my size in boxes below the clothing table. But there is a tallish-greeter lady who acts like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld who won't let people who've done business at the front counter made back out the entrance. No other greeter does this. I make a return and there's always a friendly lady or gentleman who always lets me out. But this particular makes everyone walk around the store and out the area with boxes. I wasn't feeling well and you're lucky I didn't vomit on your floor. I was clearly distressed but this lady wouldn't let me out. Don't think I'll be returning, we're going back to Costco. read more

I am a residence of Windsor Ontario Canada and purchased a membership as I travel to Roseville Michigan USA weekly The membership is unusable for us to add coupons to card and unable to install app as there is a location issue with BJ Wholesale I like the store but unfortunately it is not for Canadians we have no issues with Sam's Club or Costco I have also been in contact with customer service and they were not helpful Good thing I only $20 for membership read more

If I could give no stars, I would! I had a HORRIBLE experience at BJ's tire center! I would not recommend this place to anybody! I went in for a repair, and next thing I knew, my tire came right off my vehicle as I was driving. My lug nuts were not tightened correctly, which caused me to lose all of them, my studs were destroyed as well as my rim. When I brought my vehicle back to BJ's, I spoke with Eli and Claudine. Eli immediately greeted me with an AWFUL attitude. He walked into the room on defense, and said that according to the video footage they have, everything was done correctly and they would not be compensating me. Upon watching the video, I realized that the angle it was taken at, proves basically nothing. Nonetheless, my free repair turned into hundreds of dollars of damage. If you want a hack job with no accountability, BJ's is the place for you!! read more

Why pay a membership fee for high prices, empty shelves, and limited selection? They were even out of $1 hot dogs and roasted chickens! Many coupons are useless because the item is out of stock. Many baked goods are stale and the produce rots fast. Gas lines are a SLOW disorganized mess. I'll pay more money elsewhere to avoid BJ's nightmare gas-gauntlet. I realize things are tough economically across the board however, I paid a FEE for the priviledge to shop here. I'm not seeing too many worthwhile benefits to continue being a member. They should give current members a free 1 year membership in lieu of the trainwreck BJ's has become. Funny that BJ's stock price hit new highs recently while the store quality hit new lows. Don't believe me? Look up stock symbol BJ on the NASDAQ exchange for July 2022 prices. BOTTOM LINE: Join Costco. Or even better, shop at Aldi's or Wal-Mart. They offfer better prices, freshness, and selection with NO MEMBERSHIP FEE. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in the Clinton Twp. BJ's location Food Court. I have eaten there multiple times and the customer service is terrible. The lady that works there seems like she really hates her job. Never smiles or greets customers and looks super depressed. Also the food is garbage. We will start with the hot dog which is slimy and the buns are stale. I found myself picking most of the bun apart or just taking the bun completely off and throwing it away. The condiments are horrid and taste watered down and you can tell are very cheap. For a company who is thriving you'd think they could afford decent mustard and ketchup. Finally the soda machine never had the flavors of pop I want and when asked, I'm told they just don't have it and not sure when they are getting the syrups in. The pop is always flat and doesn't taste good at all. I have never been more disgusted or even took the time to write a review like this but after ingesting the food multiple times and it still being poor every time, something needed to be said. Move over Costco I think I love BJ's! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Huge selection and so many items that you expect to find at a warehouse. Always scan your items while shopping and then you can clip coupons that will show up when you checkout. They have self serve checkout which is nice and quick. They also have a deli and many options for meat, veggies, seafood. They open nice and early at 8am which is great to get in and out. Oh and yes they have a gas station to. read more

I was in BJ's today specifically to order contacts...the optical department wasn't open! There was a sign & a rope marking it off saying they were closed today. HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO WORK IN THE OPTICAL DEPARTMENT! Everytime I go to pick them up, I'm told to call before to make sure they are not at lunch & I always see the same 2 women working there. It's frustrating when I go into a large establishment and there's only one can return, one glass bottle return and one plastic bottle return. What's more frustrating is when they're out of commission. I tried returning my cans and bottles but the can machine was down for service. My family enjoys shopping at BJ's wholesale club. We always find deals on the normal things we get at other stores for much more money. We like the location as other warehouse stores are very far away. We try to go at least twice a month to stock up on the things we need. read more

Went to BJ's tonight to pick up a patio heater that's been on sale for a week or so now. I convinced my wife to get it so we drove over to pick it up only to find out they have changed their sale price. The original sale was supposed to be good until February 23. The new sale also goes through February 23 but it is $30 higher. Fortunately I had taken a picture of the sign when I was in last time and I showed it to the person at the service desk assuming they would honor the sign. They did not. I hope the loss of my membership was worth the $30 they saved by not honoring their sign. read more

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, I should have been wise to it this time around. But I am a forgiving person. I gave them a 3rd chance. Gas station is supposed to open at 6am. 3 different times not one time earlier then 6:15am. One time almost 6:30am. I do not understand. This absolutely is the bare minimum of expectations. I'm not asking you to check the air pressure on my tires, check the oil level and to clean my windows. I am just asking you to simply turn on the pumps when YOU said YOU would. This is not a judgement call type thing like when a cake is done, loaf of bread is done or BBQ Brisket is done. Where climate, temperature, rise time or the weight of the meat may play a factor. Some understanding comes with certain jobs and desired outcomes. BUT it is a CLOCK. Simply turn on the pumps. Not a worry for me anymore. If you have an appointment or job to be at like most people do in the world. Do NOT depend on BJ's. You are setting yourself up for disappointment. You have been warned. read more
