The clothes were neatly organized although the men's section was helter-skelter with some of it placed here and some of it in another section of the store, etc. There was plenty of stock to choose from and the prices were right. What I was most impressed with was how well organized the check out was. The line was all the way to the back of the store in linen...unreal and yet that line moved at a rather good pace. They kept asking for more cashiers to come to the front and eventually all the available areas for cashiers were running at full speed; thank you for that Marshalls! There are plenty of eating and additional shopping options nearby. If you are thirsty, there is a very well stocked/maintained Starbucks inside the store. I also like that the shelves are clean and well-stocked. The isles are clear and clean as well. They have up to date items in the jewelry, clothing, books, toys and electronics areas. I really liked the inclusive toy wheelchair with a doll in the toy section. From babies to grown men this store has something for everyone. I especially like their grocery area; it puts many an in-store non-grocery store...store to shame. What I'm trying to say is their fresh produce is always fresh, there is an excellent selection of dairy, meats, canned food, coffee/tea, you name it, they have it. Try the Target ice cream brand and you'll find it hard to go back to the other expensive name brands. The only glitches that I don't care for in this store is that the electric wheelchairs are deep towards the back of the cash registers, making it difficult for those that need assistance to go and get the cart. My mom has a lot of pain when she walks so I will go get the cart for her. Also, the parking lot can be a nuisance since it is on a deep slant, watch out for the carts rolling down the pavement only to crash into the side of your car.

I also headed to sports area to peruse discounted Michigan/Michigan State sport's apparel. We had the best time, the employees were very helpful, Tara, Cici, Rasha, Shirleen, and Anne in men's clothing. The parking is odd but then again the store is shaped like a triangle so it's all laid out differently. My mom can not walk but a few steps so I always try to get handicap parking. It was Friday at 1pm and all but one of the handicap parking spots was taken. I slowly went around a corner as a mother and child were walking near the rear of my vehicle, and made my way to the one handicap spot when someone literally flew into it! They quickly bounced out and went into the store. Um, OK. I did find a spot somewhat close to the handicap spots. I LOVE that they had multiple, fully-functioning scooters! What a relief not to have to hunt down a rickety, barely charged one of two scooters situation that I face EVERY...SINGLE...TIME I go to the Meijer's on Hall Road. I rode a scooter out to our car and mom got on. I also loved that there were plenty of small shopping carts. The isles are large and very clean. The produce is fresh and plentiful. There are a lot of extra food items to choose from that you won't see in other grocery stores. I did notice the absence of the toys, sports and garden areas. This is a very large, well-appointed, attractive food store. They are located at the corner of 24 mile and Hayes in Macomb Township, MI.

Cute little boutique-style shop with high prices at the nearly abandoned and wild Lakeside Mall - which is as you probably imagined is close to the lake up in the north suburbs of Detroit. Actually has some cute things so if it's still open next time I come to the mall with Barbie, I'm going to bring her here and see if she likes anything in here. Somebody's got to keep this place open. May as well be us. Maybe you can come here and do the same.
