Great store in Millsboro de. Staff is extremely friendly and everything is well organized. Plenty of stock in most departments.

Fantastic selection, so much frozen food as well which makes it even better than other markets with international foods. Easy check-out experience as well, which wasn't always true in the past and one reason I stopped going. Put this place on your rotation and you won't be disappointed, a must-visit in the area! Star off for seeing a few products from different countries without ANY labels in English. I don't know if this is even technically legal in Delaware, maybe someone can let me know since I routinely shop in 5 different states and can't keep up. When I lived in England for sure they had to print out labels in English to stick onto food packages if there was no English already printed on them----and basic nutrition info as well (like our RDA's... this was like 20 yrs ago I'm only guessing this is still true). Seems reasonable, and the products I often saw with these labels were still inexpensive at warehouse-style stores in England. What about allergies? Or just knowing what the main ingredients are?

I've found this Sam's Club a real help for entertaining and even purchasing regular groceries. The…read morequality of the groceries, especially meats and cheeses, is outstanding and they carry the bread I like in two packs, meaning that even this single person can buy a reasonable amount and put one in the freezer and one on the counter. The eggs are terrific, you can get pasture-raised, cage free or just standard eggs. The fruit is hit or miss, and the selection of veg is limited but what there is, is excellent. I buy the mini peppers, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, all excellent. Alas, the onions and potatoes are in larger bags than I can use. So I have a friend who likes to split some orders with me. Milk is more difficult, cottage cheese is only in large tubs. Good for a family, not so good if you are a single person or even a duo. There are prepared foods, and party trays. And the sushi is good though it tends to have some kind of hot sauce on it (local preference.) The baked goods are so good, we gift our clients the pies at holiday time, and the cakes are also good. Previously, for our pie giveaway, we had gone up to Costco (a horror show in horror-show Christiana) and the pies weren't any better and were priced a bit more. Getting in and out of Dover Sam's is a piece of cake compared to dealing with Christiana. If you are trying to stretch a dollar or you are doing entertaining, this place is a gold mine. I haven't done much with the non-food items except bought slippers. The dog food is also the one my pooches like and costs less per can. The lines can be long; the self checkout will have an associate to help you and even the full-service line moves quickly. There is "scan and go" but I haven't tried this out (I think you scan items with your phone and it tots up your order as you get ready to depart.) I went two days before Christmas Eve (I know, crazy) and it was quite bearable, though you couldn't get near the rotisserie chickens--the line for the freshly made ones was down an entire aisle. The associates I have dealt with have all been extremely friendly. Summary: If you have a big family or do a great deal of entertaining, the membership will pay for itself many times over. You may find the quality is better than the local grocery store.

In addition to all the sauces, mostly Vietnamese and Korean, there are seasonings, spices, fresh produce including guavas, durian (frozen whole and peeled), baby bananas (apple bananas? not sure the variety) and Asian greens like Shanghai baby bok choi, gai lan, and water spinach, garlic chives and long beans. Didn't see pea vines but they are quite hard to get. Bulk rice and dried mushrooms, and fresh fish and seafood as well as meats including organ meats. Noodles fresh, frozen and dried as far as the eye can see. A small section of housewares. Outside the market (which is in the old Toys R Us if you remember back when) there is a small food court with roast duck, banh mi and pastries. There is also a Korean bbq restaurant and a noodle and dumpling restaurant nearby in the parking area, the Korean bbq is across from the market and the noodle dumpling house is next to where the old Borders bookstore had been (on the way out of the shopping center.) Worth the trip. We enjoy cooking at home, especially Asian food and we enjoy grocery shopping so this was a really fun excursion. And since we eat a lot of bok choi, we'll be back soon.

It's a large Asian grocery store that sells everything from fresh seafood, produce, cooking tools, frozen food, and more. It has a small food court area with a few vendors, which is really why we stopped by, but we explored the store after lunch. If we lived in the area, we'd shop here all the time.
