Absolutely delicious! They can make most menu items vegan as well. Our server was nice, helpful, and quick. We had a baby and needed to be in and out fairly fast and she made that happen. Clean, modern vibe inside. Highly recommend!

We came here for a small dinner and shared a couple appetizers and an entree. Corn fritters: tasty and highly recommend! Loved the sauce. Spring rolls: good but not my favorite. The wrapping was fairly loose so it fell apart too easily. Singapore noodles: never had them like this before, but turned out to really like them! They are flavored with pineapple.. so if you like pineapple fried rice you'll probably like this too. Ambiance inside is nice, modern, clean. Service was quick and kind. Would return if looking for Thai food in the area. They have outdoor seating, too!

We stopped eating here when a better Thai restaurant came to town, but since they were closed we gave BKK another shot. The garden/summer rolls had rotten greens and paper tore apart before picking up. Chicken, beef fried rice had barely any meat.

Nice selection of cocktails, however the service was slow and the food was pretty bland.

I was in the mood for pho which turned out is not really pho it's actually chicken soup seasoning and broth different. It was not filled completely only to the middle for $15.00 and the noodles where inside not traditional noodles and not on side. Also $5 for Thai tea that's 12oz. Those are 2 things I'm never ordering. I've never had an issue with food and I order lots here.

This place had a modern vibe, different from normal Thai restaurants. The plating was beautiful and craft cocktails had creative twists on regular drinks. Not sure how the hostess decides on seating, but we were seated on the bar side right next to a group when there were other tables clearly open on both sides on a early Tuesday night. We ordered the money bags as our appetizer which was good. I had ordered the BKK Thai Tea, then promptly told they were out of Thai tea, disappointing for a Thai restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai which should have a sweet & savory component and it just had sweet notes and no spice, I wasn't even asked about spice level. My partner ordered the cashew stir fry with chicken. Overall, the food was average but the cocktails were good.

Go to the restaurant! DO NOT GRUB HUB! I keep getting burned by staying home. Today my food is wrong and very weird. Did no one go shopping?!? WTAF! I ordered things I know are good but everything is wrong. Thai French toast. No fruit! It was made with Texas Toast bread but like twice as thick and not even cut in half. Very little sauce. Breakfast Fried Rice: I order this because I do not like the texture of bacon and they make theirs with spam. Took a bit and got gross half cooked stringy bacon no Spam at all. Management who is running that place now?!? Who truly forgot to order?!? WYAF! Thai Tea. Looked like it had zero cream? Requested utensils, should have had two sets. But actually had zero! No fruit, no normal bread,no cream, no utensils, no spam? Close the store front if you can't make what's on the menu. Don't worry I'm not looking for a refund, since last time you swore you sent one for my burnt French toast and blamed grub hub that I never got it. New management maybe a thing to look into, after all Easter Brunch is a thing, heck brunch is a thing. I'd post a photo of the Thai Tea but I already fixed it myself. Next time I want your food I'll come in person.

The restaurant itself has a luxurious, warm, and welcoming atmosphere that almost seems to transport you out of Corpus. There are great views of the Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. We even saw some dolphins swim by! The food was fantastic. It was a cold day, so I ordered the shakshuka and my husband had the Turkish eggs and lamb sausage. The flavors were rich and bold. Both the house made foccacia and the baguette paired well with the tomato sauce. I was also a huge fan of the olive oil mixed with saba that came with the bread board. It gave the fruitiness of the oil a more complex sweetness. We finished off with the baklava which was also superb. Parking was ample and prices were very reasonable considering how much we ordered and the quality of food we got. Will be back to visit soon! This place was an absolute gem.

Staff just stood and stared at them instead of asking them to take it down about 8 notches. It really took a good bit of enjoyment away for a lot of customers. Since breakfast was available, we went in that direction...for lunch. Served all day. I got the Islander and wife got the Silver Alert. Mine was basically a larger version of hers. The sausage was really tasty. The hashbrowns on my plate (she didn't get them) were exactly like McD's or other fast food joints. I was hoping for homemade style and not frozen fast food style. The eggs tasted a little odd to me...maybe the oil used? Still tasty, though. Bacon cooked crispy. Good breakfast overall. Wife did want to try a starter and she chose the baked goat cheese/toast appetizer. She really enjoyed it...not really for my palate. Personal taste there. Several people who left reviews mentioned the wait time. We were told it would be 30 minutes when we arrived...but there's really no place for people to wait. However, they found a booth for a group sitting just inside the door and then asked if we would like to sit there. Sure...problem solved in about 5 minutes. Aside from the wait/no wait situation, it took a really long time for service and arrival of food. It's a smallish seating area overall for such business. Hopefully business is so good they'll look to expand to accommodate such demand.

I really wanted to keep loving Bien Mérité, but after three attempts, I'm extremely frustrated. Each visit has involved inaccurate and constantly changing wait times. My first attempt on 4/10 around 2pm in the afternoon. It was just me and my 15month old baby, there was only 2-3 tables occupied and I was told 45 minute wait with an almost empty dining room. I asked the hostess due to me being 9 months pregnant and having a toddler if I could just at least sit down while waiting the additional 45 mins and was told no. So I totted out my baby and myself, bought pastries and left. The second attempt I was quoted an hour , waiting the full hour and checked back in with the hostess stand only to be told it was going to be an additional hour, on top of what we already waited again. Third attempt (Sunday, April 26) waited a full hour, checked in once again with the hostess and was told it is now going to be another 90 minutes on top of once again the hour we already waited. I understand waits happen, but this level of inconsistency feels disorganized and disrespectful of customers' time--especially when expectations are set incorrectly from the start. I'm just asking for transparency and honesty here. It's disappointing because the space is beautiful and I've always supported this business but the waitlist management and homestead stand seriously needs improvement on honesty and management of times.

I went to **Chops & Eggs** in Corpus Christi expecting a good meal. I left convinced the place is…read morerunning some sort of delicious, well-lit conspiracy against boring breakfast. First of all, the ambiance: imagine an upscale hash house that got a promotion and immediately started dressing better--but didn't lose its sense of humor. It's polished without being pretentious, cozy without being sleepy, and stylish in that "yes, I woke up like this" kind of way. You feel instantly cooler just sitting down. Now let's talk about the owner, who is as charming and witty as the menu itself. The kind of person who could explain the specials or casually win a dinner-party debate at the same time. You get the sense this place isn't just run--it's hosted. Like you've been invited into a very tasteful, very funny friend's kitchen. The food, though. Oh, wow! Every dish arrives looking like it knows it's about to be photographed, admired, and then absolutely demolished. The flavors are vibrant, confident, and unapologetically delicious--nothing timid, nothing lazy. Each bite feels intentional, like the chef personally dared it to be that good. And speaking of the chef: whoever is behind the pass clearly has a hilarious sense of humor. Not in a "let's be weird for attention" way, but in a clever, playful, "I love my job and I want you to love this meal" way. The menu reads like it's in on the joke, and the food delivers the punchline--repeatedly. In short, **Chops & Eggs** is what happens when excellent taste, sharp wit, and serious culinary skill all sit down at the same table and decide to show off a little. Come hungry. Leave happy. Try not to smirk while you eat--it's harder than you think.
