I usually come here and pick up my order to go. They are usually pretty quick and the food is nice and fresh. The portions are pretty good size for the price and the staff is nice. Salsas are good. In my opinion, the beans can be a little bland, but that can be easily fixed. This place is always my go to in the mornings.

I saw a long line this morning at the drive through window so I figured it must be good if so many people were willing to wait. I went inside to pickup up two breakfast tacos. Paid $5 for two huge tacos. Service was fast and friendly. Tortillas were soft and fresh and they were filled to the max. Both the green and the red salas were delicious. Inside has the decor and feel of eating at your Mexican grandmas house. Prices are lower than some of the other Mexican restaurants around town. Glad I stopped in, I can't wait to try more dishes. Edit: Menudo is good but my large to go to go was mostly broth. Maybe you get more inside.

Incredible and authentic Mexican food. When you enter and most don't speak English you know it's going to be authentic. The portions were huge. The flour tortillas are huge and home made. I got a breakfast taco "plate" that was beyond filling for currently $7. Incredible and highly recommend to visit.

As a vegan, that made me excited because actual Mexican food usually has less cheese and can be made vegan. The business is quaint. There was a friendly hostess to welcome us in and our server was very hospitable. We ordered the chile relleno without cheese, zucchini in pasilla pepper sauce, and mole verde off the vegetarian options on the menu. We also enjoyed guacamole and chips. Our server was happy to accommodate our vegan modifications and it was really easy to communicate with him. The flavors are just WOW! Hands down the best guacamole of my life. The sauces are vibrant and rich. Everything tasted so fresh. And the prices for this quality of food cannot be beat. My husband and I literally licked sauce off the plates to make sure we did not miss one ounce of that authentic Mexican flavor. This place is top of our list of businesses to visit next time we are in town visiting family. We had an incredible experience and cannot wait to continue to explore the vegetarian menu options.

I'm not a professional food critic, but I do know seasoning, regional Mexican flavors, and what well‑prepared food should taste like -- and this just wasn't it for us. The restaurant didn't feel well-kept, and it appeared that only one server and one cook were working, plus we and another couple were the only ones there. We were served chips and salsa to start. The salsa, a taquera‑style orange sauce, was actually the best part of the meal. The chips, however, were extremely hard, not fresh, and definitely not warm. They looked house‑made, but whatever they were fried in made them almost inedible. I ordered the ribeye street tacos, and the steak was overcooked, had an odd taste, and wasn't enjoyable. I asked for extra cilantro and onions, which didn't happen, and the chimichurri they brought out was basically oil with a few seasonings floating in it. I almost complimented the Dr Pepper because it had a unique sweetness -- until I realized why. The red glass had visible staining on the inside. When I wiped the rim with my napkin, it came off dirty. They also don't offer straws, so whatever residue was in that glass is what you end up drinking. Between the food quality, the cleanliness concerns, and the overall condition of the restaurant, this was a no for us. How this place has earned such high mentions is honestly beyond me.

The most authentic flavor item in my lunch was the refried beans that look like poop at first sight. Rice was bland with cumin flavor and the mole was the most disappointing. Might as well have called them regular enchiladas, the flavor was basic taco mix with a tiny taste of mole. Just a thick cumin or comino paste. Enchiladas should be dripping with sauce in the inside. These were dry tortillas that were barely garnished with sauce on top. The chicken inside was very flavorul but dry. Then the 16 oz lemonade was 4$ and it was super sour ! I never leave reviews. But this was truly disappointing.

The corn, the bacon wrapped jalapeños and the nachos with tinga chicken. The corn had something bitter in it I chalked it up to the lime, little to much but I'm sure can be ordered without. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were perfectly made and zero fire which I appreciate. The nachos were huge half corn tortillas with refried black beans and cheese when I added the chicken I didn't realize it would add 14 dollars to my nachos!! lol I honestly thought it made the nachos 14 dollars. The sweet tea is soooooo good So I said maybe based on my $59.00 lunch bill.

The quesadillas were really good with that yummy queso blanco that made them extra tasty. The chicken verde was a little different since the chicken seemed cooked in red sauce and then topped with salsa verde, but it was still good. The margaritas weren't very strong, but the food overall was delicious. It would be helpful to have a sign when you first walk in letting guests know to seat themselves, because that part was a little confusing. We definitely rang the bell on the way out for the great service and food.

Inside, it's very pretty, small with about 20 tables and booths. There's a tiny bar in the corner. The floors are tile and the walls are blue with a lot of nautical and beach decor. On this Wednesday after noon it was fairly busy, with lots of families and workers eating and drinking. We were seated immediately and given menus - the menu is huge, and contains lots of breakfast selections as well as favorite Mexican lunch/dinner items. We ordered a beef taco salad and a cheese enchilada plate along with sodas to drink. We munched on complimentary tortilla chips and salsa (fiery) while we waited for our food. The meals came out quickly, large portions and tasty beans/rice. The taco salad had a crisp shell with more beans/beef than lettuce, but guac and sour cream plus cheese. The enchiladas were good, not quite hot enough to melt all the cheese inside the tortillas but they had a good flavor. Service was very friendly and efficient. Total for two entrees, two sodas was $34.16 before tip. By the way they charge a 3% upcharge for using plastic, so be aware.
