We ordered our burgers, the special fries, and specified we wanted tap water cause no one wants to pay for water when Europe prides itself on their clean pipe water systems. Unfortunately, the guy came back with 2 bottles of water that he had already poked a hole in and we ended up paying for it. I'm pretty sure he understood me, but I'll just give him the benefit of the doubt. We ordered the special frites, the pepper burger, and the red velvet burger. Special Frites: the description sounded amazing and with the mindset of Belgium fries in mind, i was ready to be wow'd. It didn't happen, save yourself the euros and don't order this. No customers were present on a slow weekday morning, but fry we must! A small black cone of fries, Frites Fraiches Maison, was 4,50€ and we opted for a curry ketchup sauce (not included) for 1,50€. I did take note as the work prepped our order by refrying the fries from previously mentioned pile. At the time, we thought not much of it, but the fries were definitely crisp, twice fried if you will. With the somewhat sour curry ketchup, the fries -- although unseasoned -- were a delight, but upon introspection and many a fry later, they were definitely the lowest in quality from the rest. The fries came packed in paperboard and portioned a lot more than I could finish by myself. I liked the thick cut, crisp and golden on the outside but soft and tender inside. They also were lightly salted and went well with the spicy sauce I picked for dipping. After finishing, I just handed my tray back through the window. Overall hit the spot for me.
