Only paid members can enter which makes it feel quiet and exclusive. They have cubbies and lockers for your belongings, plus a bathroom with cute golf ball wallpaper that adds a fun touch. There are three simulators with a wide variety of ways to play including longest drive competitions, closest to the hole, playing 9 or 18 holes, and other game options. It is a great setup for practicing your swing or just having some fun. There is also a counter, sink, and tables so it is easy to host or entertain a group while you are there. Even though no staff members are present on site, everything was easy to navigate and well maintained. This was a great space for our ladies golf event and I would definitely return.

Prices are reasonable. The seats are reasonably comfortable. Tickets are very affordable. Family oriented, and we've seen little league teams and young folks having a good time. Parking is free. CONS: The parking lot is not paved or marked. I highly advise you to park far enough away from the park so as not to have your car damaged by a foul ball. Pavement inside the park is uneven. Restrooms are not nice or particularly clean. In summary, I've enjoyed my time at Memorial Stadium for the two Hawk games I've attended.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Hiring Process…read more I'm writing this review to express my frustration with the way Crane Creek Country Club has handled their hiring process. As someone who lives in the Highlands and was genuinely interested in contributing to their team this summer, I expected at least a basic level of communication and professionalism, but that was far from my experience. I first reached out to Crane Creek on April 25th, sending my resume to most of the email addresses listed on their employment page. Unfortunately, their website doesn't list any current openings, so I treated it as an inquiry rather than a formal application. I followed up on May 9th and received no response. Later, colleagues with connections to the club helped me get in touch with someone on the leadership team. I sent my completed application and resume again on June 2nd, just in case there was any confusion. On June 12th, I received multiple calls from an unknown number with no voicemail left. When they finally did leave a message, it was Jared Gion from Crane Creek. We had a productive 20-minute conversation about a golf course maintenance position, and I went down to the club within the hour to meet with a staff member named Ryan. He was friendly but brief, stating the next steps would be either a second interview or to come in and start work after filling out another application. Since then, I have called Jared multiple times over the past two weeks and have received absolutely no response--no email, no voicemail, nothing. The complete lack of follow-up, after taking time out of my day to meet with them and demonstrating flexibility and genuine interest in the position, is both highly unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. I understand that not every inquiry or interview leads to a job--but clear communication is the bare minimum in any professional setting. If a company can't extend the courtesy of letting you know whether or not you're moving forward, that says a lot about how they value people. Potential applicants: proceed with caution. And to Crane Creek: you can and should do better.

THey have a great variety of talent here, from kids playing marimbas to hackey sack competitions to cultural dancers to music groups. Check the schedule before you come if you're interested in any particular topic, and you're likely to find it--and for free. If you peer beyond the stage, you'll find slackliners, aerial yogis, and mountain bikers all practicing their sports in the park around you, and that itself is worth watching. There are usually some good food trucks, with tacos, Pronto Pups, Hawaiian and Greek food, and the usual fried....everything. Luckily, everything tastes better deep fried on a September night. Parking is a nightmare, but parking in Hyde Park always is, so plan to walk, carpool, or bike if you can. The fun is about being close to the people in the neighborhood, so enjoy the crush of humanity, grab a kombucha and sit back and listen to the latest bluegrass jam band while the sun sets.
