It Just floors me these donation places turn away excellent relevant like new products. I wouldn't waste your time donating to this place guess they only accept gold bars or cash. There are some antique-y things, some modern things, and some thing, things. This is a place you have to dig a bit. Shelves are full with treasures. Don't worry it isn't overwhelming, it is just right. The faces are so, so, so friendly here and I have never encounter a rude employee. Oh and the obvious, the money goes to a great cause. I honestly thought it was only for the people who attended the church that it's affiliated with but it's actually open to the public! I saw a handful of posts on FB Marketplace so I took that as a sign to head in! It's a smaller shop. Very organized, clean and bright! I appreciate how everything is categorized by it's item. Clothes, antiques, home. It was very easy to shop and look around. I checked about 50% of the store out. I usually go to thrift stores with one thing in mind and that's to find China dishes or old frames. Their antique section was smaller but had quite a few beautiful pieces! I was able to grab a pretty trinket dish and a couple berry bowls. And they were reasonably priced! I appreciate that they aren't price gauging their customers. Thrifting is supposed to be fun and money saving! These folks are here for the people and not for crazy profit, I appreciate that! I look forward to coming back and supporting this thrift shop. I would like to donate and support them that way as well! I can't wait to see what kind of goodies I'll be able to find in my future shopping adventures here.

I was confused because we immediately brought it home, watered it and have been giving it fresh water and doing our best to prune the dead branches off of it. Regardless, it's a fire hazard now. It seemed very healthy when we picked it out so I'm wondering if maybe it was diseased or something. I still give this lot 3 stars because the people working were all so incredibly friendly and helpful and I know they are non-profit so I didn't want to bother going back and making a stink about it. Hopefully it was just us who experienced this.

This is such a wonderful organization, I don't even know where to start. They create personalized…read morememory albums (scrapbooks, essentially) for those experiencing the end of life. Sometimes the books are given to a family after their loved one dies Other times the books are given while the loved one is terminally ill or in hospice care, to help the family gather and share stories of their lives before it's too late. They have created and donated over 900 of these albums to date. Their fundraisers are my favorites! They have one big annual crafty-crop where everyone gets together and crafts -- this year it seemed like there were over 100 crafters. We rubber stamped and scrapbooked and sewed. It was so much fun. They also do a much smaller weekly craft time, which is also a blast.

I am very…read moreimpressed by the thorough assessment of potential adopters to ensure that the dog is going to have the best possible chance of having a successful adoption. From the online application to the interview, and then supporting the introductions between potential adopters and any pets already in the household, the MCR staff are very professional and helpful. The dogs are all well cared for, and many are undergoing training through a program that teaches incarcerated persons to work with these dogs -- many of whom have faced significant challenges. The one challenge is that their new facility is in Emmett, but the results are so worth the drive!
