Upon meeting with the owner, Kate, I decided to give it a try & am so glad I did. Unlike past gyms I joined, I have felt totally welcomed and supported here. Every trainer takes the time to show you the workouts, explain the why, and are your biggest supporters throughout. I love how most of them have kids and know the struggle of the juggle between self care and balancing the home life. They maximize the time you are at the gym and tailor things to your capabilities, but give that extra nudge you need to step out of your comfort zone. After all, outside the comfort zone is where the magic happens!

What was wrong with my standing? Well, as it turns out, the back pains I had were caused by that standing. Which meant I wasn't sleeping as well at night. Which meant I was drinking caffeine to try to stay awake, and it all cascaded to affect my overall health. I was expecting, you know, massive weights and running 'til I puked. But they gave me tiny weights, realigning my body, grueling workouts that strengthened muscles I didn't even know I'd had because I was so unaware of my body - which I viewed as a carrying case for my head - that I didn't realize what had atrophied. And Fitness Evolution worked with me and my wife to create customized exercises that always pushed us but never broke us - which was critical when my wife broke her hand ziplining, and they had to spend weeks jerry-rigging exercises that worked around her injury. I've been doing this for a year now. And I'm not a skinny person, mainly because if you read my other Yelp reviews you'll see they're all about drinking and desserts, and honestly, I've cut that down but to be truly ripped I'd have to give all that up. But my back doesn't hurt on long airline flights. I sleep well, for eight hours. My body has strength in places I never knew it could have strength before. And now, when I look in the mirror, I see how I was standing wrong. I see all the ways Fitness Evolution adjusted me, one session at a time, to give me better flexibility and health. They helped me. It ain't cheap. But when I consider all the doctors' bills I'm gonna save from my body not degrading down the line, I'm callin' this a bargain.

The owner/founder is very kind and will answer any questions you have. Everything is CLEAN!!! It's 24/hours as well you use an app to unlock the door! Then locker room is very large as well with multiple lockers for your belongings. Then there is the physical therapy area. They offer a variety of services as well as massages. I have used the gym and the medical part of it. I enjoy both parts. The gym membership is expensive, but you have access to all of it. The physical therapy side has great employees/therapists. They are professional, knowledgeable, and very nice.

Your membership includes almost all classes which include yoga, spinning, weight training, some pilates, zumba, and many more. The weight room is huge. Plenty of cardio machines, stretch equipment, lap pool, open pool for water aerobics. There's dry and steam saunas along with a huge whirlpool that are located in each locker room. They provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hair dryers. There's always plenty of parking. There are personal trainers, massage therapists, and it's attached to physical therapy so you can find just about anything here for wellness. Staff is friendly and top notch.​

Every class is different though because different exercise moves are used. The classes use the Lagree method of fitness. 216 Lagree is the only MEGAPRO studio in Cleveland as of the date of this review. I first visited by myself for an early morning class on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 then I came with some friends on April 4th, 2026. FULL BODY MEGAPRO -- I took a Full Body MegaPro class on Saturday morning, April 4th 2026 with two friends. The class is a high-intensity but low impact workout. It involves different movements on a Megapro machine that work legs, glutes, arms, and core. The Megapro class is a full body workout. I was shaking and sweating within the first 10 mins of class. The class is slightly similar to doing Pilates on a Reformer machine. The Lagree method of fitness works to strengthen and tone muscle fibers but it does not make muscles bigger. You'll get lean and tight muscles with the more classes that you take. If you want to bulk up and get bigger muscles then take a weights class at a gym because the Megapro class won't do that for you. I remember after my first class, my body was sore and tight the next day but after stretching, I was back to normal the next day or 2 days later. I know that I was sore because I used muscles that I normally don't use when exercising so the soreness was a good thing. COST -- A hefty price. I used the 'Buy One, Get One' free class pass deal ($35 for two classes) which I liked. One class is $35 which is expensive so I most likely won't be back especially because I already used my 2 classes passes.
