Luck was on our side, as we were their first customers to enjoy their brand new 2021 36ft Reflection. We had a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 kids). The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. Their pricing is very competitive, for the services that they provided. We want to truly thank the owners for such a good memorable trip. Highly recommended!

Just before our trip, the property management company told us the home was suddenly unavailable due to "maintenance issues" and moved us to a different house without our consent. That's where the trouble started. The replacement property was dirty, unsafe, and misrepresented. There were stained carpets, a smelly basement, peeling deck boards, filthy bathtubs, and no AC during a heat wave in Seattle. Many rooms had no way to ventilate safely -- windows were sealed shut or lacked screens. Worse: after visiting the original property we booked, we discovered it hadn't been maintained or prepared for guests in months. It was never going to be available. The "maintenance issue" excuse was a complete fabrication. This was a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. When I tried to address the concerns, the owner was dismissive and condescending, suggesting that we should have "ignored the lower two floors" of the home (which were filthy). He took no responsibility for the condition of the property or the misleading communication. We've documented everything with photos, a timeline, and communication logs, which have been shared with Expedia and will be escalated further if needed. This company may appear professional online, but our experience was the opposite. If you're traveling with your family or expecting a quality rental that matches the listing, look elsewhere.

They need to restrict size we were way too big for that parking lot. Most of the people looked like they lived there in small trailers. The electric was a problem it couldn't handle 50 amps. We would loose power if we use the microwave but it didn't trip breakers it would turn back on after a few seconds. You have to make a u turn to get out of the park not advised especially if you are towing like we are. The pool was warm and in doors the sauna and hot tub was the only plus but not good enough to go back. Staff was nice but they should have turned us away we could have hurt the RV so easily in this tiny lot. Worst RV set up I have seen in 18 years of traveling in an RV. In 2025 alone we had stayed in over 40 spots coast to coast. If you are over 25 feet I would not risk your rig.

I tried taking my dogs to the designated pet area and there are so many trucks and other vehicles there that the doggos were too afraid to do anything but flee the area. 2. They are extremely OCD on the rules. Everywhere you look there are rules to follow. There's wanting to keep things nice and there's a way to be way too lax... there needs to be a nice balance... this isn't it. You do know that we are on vacation here, right!? I didn't feel comfortable with just enjoying ourselves while staying here. Everywhere you look, a rule... literally... can't even take a crap without staring at a rule while taking 5 minutes to yourself. I was scolded for breaking a rule that I didn't even know existed. I won't return here... I want to enjoy my vacation... I did, but it's because we left during the day and only stayed here to sleep and cook dinner.

The road to the camp is a bit of a trekk. It's long, windy, and much of it dirt with pot holes. There's also no cell service out there so be sure to communicate with anyone you're meeting shortly after turning off highway 2. The camp sites themselves are good sized, we easily fit 2 tents and our cars. There was a fire pit and a picnic table too. We had access to the river and enjoyed a nice cold plunge on a warm day. There were several hikes in the area to choose from but we couldn't turn down the incredible Lake Blanca, whose trailhead was only a few minutes away. We look forward to visiting this campground again next year.

The campground at Troublesome Creek is an absolute gem. Located about two hours from any…read moresignificant population base, accessible off of a (mostly) dirt forest service road, you'll marvel at the serenity of this idyllic campground. There are two sides to this campground, an east and a west loop. My spot was on the east loop, space 15 and I'd definitely recommend the spaces on the east loop, as they give you ample privacy with equally ample access to the creek and the North Fork of the Skykomish River. No power hookups means you can set the devices aside and worry little about what's happening in the city. Out here, the entertainment is happening in nature. Views of surrounding peaks, the rush of the water as it flows past and as night falls, the dotting of stars in the inky black sky will give you exactly what you need before heading back to civilization. Nature truly is the best. I'll be back to this campground again, no doubt.

Full hookups and pull through which is nice, but no shade so it can get hot at the end of summer. The other area, with full hookups is around the perimeter and is nestled in the cedar trees. Larger spaces, quieter and lots of shade. The folks running the place are very nice and everything worked well. My only recommendation is that if you plan ahead ask for an area in the trees.

This is a very quiet RV park that sits off of the busy road that leads to the Bainbridge Island…read moreferry. This road is busy with a huge amount of traffic. Luckily you don't really hear the road noise inside the park. It sits between a mobile home park and a nice shady forest. We made the mistake of walking our two little dogs in the woods who became severely infested with fleas within 3 days so we had to call our vet back home to prescribe a flea and tick medication which luckily Costco carried. Don't take your dogs into the woods. We had the misfortune of being parked next to a chain smoking couple who sat outside their RV in a screen tent smoking one after another all day long. I could not even have my windows open due to the constant stench of cigarettes. It was awful. There are two bathrooms that you need a code to get into. These bathrooms do not get cleaned daily. The toilets are gross. I have had to carry Lysol wipes with me to clean off somebody's crusty ass remains on the seat many times. There was a spot of poo stuck to the side of the bowl that stayed there for a week so I know nobody cleans the toilets daily. The toilet seat was very loose and dangerous and I reported it along with the loose sink basin but both were still loose when we left 2 weeks later. The same filthy spot on the floor next to the toilet was still there too. The laundry room is nice so that was a good thing. If you have pets be aware that there are people that do not pick up after their dog even though there are signs around. Be careful where you step. And if you have a dog that hates cats watch out. There are at least 3 cats that roam around the park constantly trying to kill birds and squirrels. There are barking dogs that you can hear that get pretty loud whenever they hear a siren screaming by with is pretty often. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a few days.

I determined our two hikes - Mt. Ellinor and Mt Townsend - then explored all hotel/motel/b&b options from the Union/Hoodsport area to Quilcene with 2 beds. There was basically 2 options with 2 beds - one higher end hotel (Alderbrook at $320/night for their most basic room, and not ideal since we were literally there just to sleep, and there was going to be a wedding) and motels. The Salmon Cabin was in between and at $140/night was great value. We arrived after hiking the Mt Ellinor trail. The owner, Jim, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us additional info on the Mt Townsend hike. He left us hot coffee in 2 travel thermos at 6am the next morning, and then came to the cabin to check us out after our hike since he knew we were pressed to make our afternoon flights out of Sea-Tac. What made it great: - 2 rooms - bedroom with queen for my brother, and living space with futon for me - Bathroom was very clean and they left toiletries - Great use of space, with a full kitchen if you want to cook, washer and dryer if you are staying several days - They let us stay one night, and were flexible with check-out to allow us to shower after our morning hike - It was quiet and peaceful on a side street off Route 101 A few things to know: - A great central location between Mt. Ellinor and Mt Townsend, but limited options for dining/groceries in Brinnon. Therefore, we planned an early dinner at Hama Hama Oysters before closing (5:30) on our way to the cabin - This is a great value option - the sheets and towels were good quality for the price but you should not expect luxury hotel linens

I went on a small group tour with Mike to Mt. Rainier a couple weeks ago. Well! It started raining,…read morein July! The day before was sunny, and then the day after was sunny, but the day of our tour it rained. I have to say, I think the rain made the tour better. We saw multiple waterfalls and saw a lot of different trees, we even got to see a marmot - which was really cute! The lunch was delicious and the area where we ate was beautiful. My favorite part was hearing about the nature and history that makes up Mt. Rainier. I had never been on an all day tour with strangers before and I was a little nervous, as my husband wasn't with me. It was kind of nice though! Everyone on the tour was friendly and engaged with the nature around them. There were a couple children on the tour and Mike was wonderful with them. He kept the younger boy busy and chatted with him, giving the parents a bit of a break. There was also someone nursing an injury that they had been in PT for and we found trails suitable for that, even in the rain! If you want to see the mountain in a safe, entertaining way, take this tour. I didn't have to sift through any guide books, or deal with driving - plus I met some fun people and learned a lot more about Mt. Rainier than I ever would have on my own. It rains so much there that it's best to have someone who really knows the park with you if it rains, that way you can still see beautiful areas safely. The food his chef prepares is really good too! So much better than anything else I saw up there. The ice cream stop was also worth it!

First, he clearly loves the area and continues to gather knowledge about the eco systems as well as the local history. He kept abreast of the ever changing weather and adjusted our itinerary to improve our chances of having amazing views and staying dry! He set up a high powered telescope so we got "close up" views of the glaciers. We saw the glaciers, we saw amazing views, we walked to view a waterfall, we spent time in a rain forest (which was my favorite part). The gourmet lunch was, in fact, gourmet! The salmon was very good, and we ate in a pristine picnic area sitting in the sun. Yep, a bit like paradise. It was a long day, but well worth the time and the luxury of having a caring and informative guide made it a wonderful way to begin our stay in the Pacific North West. Find the time to visit this park and see the glaciers, as they may not last as long as we think!
