The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. Their pricing is very competitive, for the services that they provided. We want to truly thank the owners for such a good memorable trip. Highly recommended!

So we drove back home, 3 hours at 9 pm where we had a warm place to stay. Then came back to Stevens pass since we had already booked our lift tickets. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. We opened the door to find not only no power but the stench of stale old body odor. The management is a joke and apparently customer service is not in the vocabulary. As a business owner and also someone who is in the rental industry these people should just quit before they ruin any other holiday plans for another family.

If the van is still available 1 week from your desired departure, we can book your 3-night rental....If you'd like to do a 4-night rental we can set that up right away. If you would like to do a 3-night, we can firm that up with you this Friday (subject to van availability)." We elected to wait. All good! Then, on Friday morning, we get this.... "Hey Michael, I just wanted to check in with you before approving your quote request for Daisy that you'd still like to adventure September 3rd - 6th ? You're within the waitlist window and I will go ahead and approve this reservation if you're still interested." I replied/confirmed, great!! An hour later we get this.... "Hey Michael, we just received a booking for Daisy during your desired dates. Unfortunately, we no longer have anything available for you during those dates." Why not just say the first day we can book is six days out? Worst part about this is we spent money and made arrangements after they confirmed our reservation. This company needs new policies, values and leadership....or even just some simple customer service training.

What do you do when you want to take a road trip to discover and camp the Pacific Northwest, in…read moreparticular, Olympic and Mt. Rainier National Parks but don't want the hassle of gathering and hauling all your camping equipment from San Diego? You rent a VW from PacWesty of course! We rented "Rosie", a 1991Westfalia campervan that was perfect for 2 adults. It was honestly the easiest "camping trip" we've done. BECAUSE the van comes complete with everything you might need (seriously). It had pots/pans (2 propane cans + 2 burner stove), plates, bowls, utensils, bottle opener/cork screw, and other utensils I don't even use at home (clearly we need to step up our camping dining experience based on the utensils provided- there was a cheese grater - whaat?). Some of the items we used the most: collapsible water container (all the water in Olympic and Mt. Rainier was very clean and we used it for drinking water as well), cleaning/wash bucket and soap, dustpan/broom (you'd be surprised how much pine needles your carry in), picnic table cloth (if you've camped you know some of those camping picnic tables are gross, dirty, chipped - and it just makes any camp meal that much better), 2 campfire chairs (regular size chairs not REI small portable ones), campfire blanket, towels (beach and bath -btw no showers in either NP), and a small portable table. At night 2 sleeping bags (they were plenty warm for night temps that were down to 45-49) and pillows (these could have more volume but folding them worked). Seriously, we packed nothing but our clothes (and that we overdid that) and filled up the cooler. The van supplies even had a few zip lock bags for packing sandwiches and foil for campfire cooking. The only thing we picked up besides food was a couple of Duraflame bricks because using park wood for kindle is a no no. We picked up the van on Brainbridge Island. We flew into Seattle so a Bainbridge pick-up was a head scratcher, but for a fee ($98) you can arrange for pick-up and drop-off in Seattle (we did a Seattle drop-off). Rosie (4 gear standard) was ~ $210/night + taxes + insurance (unless your car insurance provider covers rentals, which our AAA policy does) and $1000 security deposit, which we got notice of return in less than 24hrs after dropping the van off. In addition to all of the convenience above, the PacWesty service and the folks are awesome. Maybe just owning and working for a company that converts classic VW buses and vans keeps one happy? We met Garrett (our "handler"), Drew (owner/founder) & Nolan (expert mechanic) - all impossibly nice. Garrett was very responsive via emails and text. Drew seemed like he couldn't believe he discovered what he wanted to do when he grew up. And Nolan was like a VW conversion guru and could talk for days about them... and they're converting a few to electric. Yaas electric campervans... we may need to come back to test-drive that. All have discovered the PNW themselves so would be excellent guides if they didn't already have fun day jobs. Oh yeah Olympic & Mt. Rainier are amazing... so go discover the PNW in an all-equipped VW campervan. We didn't regret it!

On August 12, 2024, I contacted Via RV and requested a quote to replace an oil pump. At which…read moretime, they advised that they did not have the correct tools. On April 14, 2025, I followed up with Via RV to see if they would now be able to replace my oil pump. On April 30, 2025, I have my Motorhome towed into Via RV to replace the Oil Pump. Per David at Via RV, after a diagnoses of my motorhome, David advised that it did not need an oil pump and there was just an electrical issue, which he stated he fixed. We drove home approximately 2 miles and all was fine. On May 24, my husband attempted to go out of town and while on the freeway, the same thing happened the motorhome lost all oil pressure and the engine stopped. Due to this being a holiday weekend, on May 27, 2025, I reached out to David at Via RV to advise what happened and we scheduled a mobile mechanic service to come out on 6/13. David states that the charge for the mobile mechanic would be $150.00 unless it fell under the 90-day warranty. Unfortunately, Via RV missed this appointment, with no notice to me and after I reached out to them, they scheduled a mechanic to come out on 6/14. After the mechanic did a diagnosis of our motorhome, he advised that the engine seized, the mechanic contacted David and told us that he would reach out to us on Monday 6/16. Furthermore, it must have fallen under the 90-day warranty as they did not charge me for the appointment. After not hearing from David on 6/16, I followed up via text asking for an update. Davis responded on 6/17 advising I needed to check with other shops as they fix "starting issues" not anything to do with the oil issues that the RV was having. I have my receipt from 4/30 which stating they did replace the oil pump but text messages advising that oil pump did not need to be replaced and it was just an "electrical issue" and they were unable/unwilling to help.

She disclosed everything about this unit and helped me take care of everything with the service department, who did an amazing job with the repairs and everything else that I added to it. Holly was the most personable and happy to help sales rep during the entire time...and I must have called her a million times with questions and concerns that were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. I also had an amazing team in the service dept. Stacie and Jason were amazing for solving all the issues that it already had and all the add ons that I needed for it to be a great unit for us to use! I mean EVERY time I called they were just happy to help and I had major concerns about doing this and being so far away that I could not be there in person, and they were my eyes and ears during the whole process, but I wanted a certain size and layout and I had to find one 1200 miles away. Everything was handled and I was finally ready to go get it a few weeks later. When I got there to pick it up the generator failed. But the sales manager James stepped in and solved the problem within minutes! They got everything finished and even had an amazing tech named Sofia do a walk through with me and teach me about the unit. I'm telling you that I am a difficult customer with very high standards and sometimes I am darn near impossible to impress...but the people at Speedway RV definitely have impressed me!!! We had the entire top floor to ourselves and it was wonderful. You do share a bathroom but it's roomy enough and everything is updated. There's a small sitting area up there and even a "Harry Potter" room tucked away under the eaves. Ken, our innkeeper, accommodated our late check-in and even recommended restaurants in Poulsbo that we could try. We ate at two of his recommendations and they were both excellent. We asked for breakfast to be served at 9AM everyday. It was always ready and delicious. There was always an egg dish, bread or muffins, fruit, yogurt and granola. Our beds were very comfortable and we always had a good night's sleep at the Green Cat. Free wi-fi is available everywhere in the house except in the Green Gable Room where connection was spotty so I would sit in the sitting area outside our room and it was fine. We walked the grounds and met a couple of the cats. It's a very relaxing and calming experience to be here. I would come back in a heartbeat.
