To salvage our vacation we were lucky to find a company that came to our rescue. NW Adventures and could rent us a motorhome replacement last minute. They were quick to respond and Julie was a model of proficiency to help us on our way. We rented a 24FT Four Winds. It had everything we needed and a great layout. The entire staff was great, and no trick gotcha hidden fees in that fine print you don't catch. During our trip Julie was readily available for any questions we had while in the far north. While all components worked, this motorhome was built during Covid and it was clear quality and workmanship had taken a hit. Regardless, that's not anything to do with NW Adventures and they have quite a variety of equipment to choose from. I would rent from them again in an instant.

Sheila the owner did a thorough job explaining how the van operated and was very responsive when we had questions. The van basically drove itself! It had great safety features like slowing down when getting too close to the other cars, alerting when getting too close to the side of the road with an ariel view on the dash, and flashing a red light on the side mirrors when a car was in a blind spot. Also, had a several cameras on the dash for maneuvering when parking. We LOVED our Cascade Adventure Van!

Escape Campervans EXCEEDED my expectations by far! The van was clean, comfortable (seats, bed and…read moretable), the sink - fridge - and burner worked perfectly, and the staff at the Seattle location (shout out to Joel!) was super helpful. Customer service before I booked was great as well. They quickly answered all my questions. You can tell this company is committed to quality product and helping you create a memorable trip. I also loved the email list with tips and ideas. They really cover it all! The van had 220,000 miles on it but ran like a gem so clearly serviced regularly. Great visibility in the windows (no real blind spots while driving) and the turning radius of the maverick wasn't bad at all. If you go over mileage, the fees didn't kill you either. 10/10 recommend booking here and no they didn't beg me to write this review... I just love talking about my trip and this great van company!!!! Tip: make sure you bring an aux cord, dongle if you have an iphone and an AV car charger for your devices. You can always buy the aux cord as an extra if you need it! Don't forget to add a $5 propane tank. Finally, when returning the van, there are 2 gas stations near by... if passing the Escape Campervan property on your right, go past it to fill up. The one right off the high way before arriving there is way over priced!

We were frustrated that we had to schedule a specific pick-up time and our pick-up was pushed later in the afternoon. This disrupted our day 1 plans and were not able to complete the hike we wanted to do. The van worked well for us. Highly recommend getting the rooftop tent. The van was old. It had nearly 300,000 miles. It didn't have any modern amenities (e.g. no carplay or gps interface). They also nickle and dime you for add-ons which is frustrating. I think there are too many other private campervan rental options (e.g. Outdoorsy) at a competitive price point with modern vehicles for us to use Escape again.

The Cruise America in the Everett , Wa location, we rented a 35ft cruiser. We were completely taken…read morein. We rented this so we could take a trip back east with my 90 yr old mother. First, we were never offered a rig for handicapp, once we started down the road, we got as far as Mt before we broke down. Tire blow out, a stop at the Butte, Mt dealership resulted in major repairs. We couldn't get the door opened from inside the trailer, no windshield fluid, changed out wipes, put In fuses, replaced gas cap that was stripped, tacked up wall in bathroom. I asked if I could replace our rig for one that worked from their lot, and I could, but I would need to rerent another rig. Subsequently as we went on our trip, we had 3 blown tires, due to dry rot, replaced air filter in engine-due to bugs, dirt, dust and grime. Last blow resulted in getting stuck on the drivers side of freeway, for 4hrs, at least, with 18 wheelers barreling down rode, leaving us swaying inside the trailer. C.A. refused to call a tow off road, until the person to change tire came and told them we needed to get off the road, that took another 2 hrs. We had to extend our trip due to these and many other issues. The Everett, Wa manager could cate less. All this occured in 2019. I have since been connected by C.A., they will reimburse $275., we paid almost $5000. to rent a rig that was suppose to work and safely carry passengers. I have come to find out, if you read your contract, C.A. is not responsible. We are, because we rented it. Beware, there are good places and not so good places to rent C.A., but, read the fine print, you inspect vehicle on lot, request test drive- for front end alignment issues. Don' t believe everything that's told to you. And you will not get good service out of Everett, Wa.

Corporate office phone were overwhelmed that day but Shannon was always available and helpful. So was the corporate manager when we were able to get through. This was our first experience with renting an RV and so far it has been a somewhat mixed bag. However I appreciated that CruiseAmerica made it right and we are immediately renting a 17' in Vancouver BC so I expect that will be fine.
